The dispatcher was kind and explained how everything would go. When the technician, Chris, arrived, he attempted to increase the price by an additional $30. Then an additional $15 after I called the dispatch. After I explained that I would only be paying the amount I was quoted, the technician told me I should be willing to pay more because he was "helping me out." I found that unprofessional. I was already paying for a service, and customers shouldn't be pressured into paying more after a price has been agreed upon--especially when they're stranded on the side of the highway. Using a woman in needs situation to pocket extra money is unethical and unkind. Wouldn't use this service again. Thankfully I had a pump because Chris also refused to put air, wasn't expected, but he only refused after I questioned the increase.

My van did not come with a spare tire from the manufacturer, so I could not change the tire myself. I really wish car makers did not do this, but that is another subject. I called DMV Roadside Rescue, and they had a mechanic out to my house within about an hour. It was the day after the Fourth of July, so it was hard for the mechanic to find an open auto parts store that had the tire I needed. He had to call several places. The mechanic came back with the tire I needed and replaced my flat tire. This all took about three hours. The total was about $250. Keep up the good work. No complaints.

If you disagree, you're wasting your time reading any further: -BMWs are maintenance nightmares -it's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when" and "how bad is it" when you have issues -Dealerships are a ripoff Ok given that, Beamer Auto is the only place I will take my fun but monetary black hole 335 in for service and repairs. The customer service, the honesty, and the quality of work is excellent. If you don't believe me, get an estimate at a dealership when your BMW is out of its joke of a warranty, proceed to cry; then call BMW and laugh inside. Still hate your BMW, but not as much.

Review of Beamer Auto, Aaron Lane, Clinton MD I rarely write…read morereviews, and I especially dislike leaving negative ones, but auto repair is expensive, and it all comes down to trust. I've been taking my vehicles (BMW X5 and Mercedes E350) to Beamer Auto since 2022. Up until recently, they consistently provided good service at a fair price. Unfortunately, my last two experiences have completely changed my opinion. About 8 months ago, I brought in my X5. Communication was poor--I had to call several times just to get updates and an estimate. Since I trusted them from prior service, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a bad day. This last visit today, with my E350, however, was unacceptable. I emailed in advance detailing the issues and received a confirmation for a 10 AM appointment on Thursday, September 18. When I arrived, the front desk person (Aaron) asked me to repeat everything instead of checking the email. I explained two issues: 1. The driver seat not returning fully upright (a sensor recalibration Beamer had fixed for me two years ago). 2. The passenger side headlight was flickering and going out intermittently. I was told I'd get a call with an estimate. Hours passed with no update. I called around 3:30 PM, no answer, and their voicemail was full. Eventually, they called me back but admitted they hadn't even looked at my car yet. Approx 4:30, I called again, because they close at 5:30. This time, Aaron said they wouldn't get to it that day but promised it would be checked first thing in the morning. The next day, still no call all morning. Frustrated, I drove 40 minutes back to the shop around 1 PM to pick up my vehicle. My car was sitting exactly where I left it. After waiting while Aaron looked at the computer and asking me the same question again about my car, I was told they couldn't fix the seat issue and that I'd need to go to the dealer (even though they had repaired the exact same problem less than two years ago). Then he incorrectly stated it was my driver-side headlight that was bad, when in fact it was the passenger side--the issue I had clearly outlined multiple times. Despite their lack of communication, inaccurate assessment, and the fact that my car hadn't moved, I was charged $158.75 for a diagnostic check. Based on my experience, I don't believe they even looked at the vehicle. After three years as a loyal customer, Beamer Auto has lost my trust and my business. If you're considering them, proceed with caution--buyer beware.

I drive 30+ miles to get my car serviced at this spot and there is a damn good reason for it…read more I've been introduced to this Precision Tune Auto Shop through an acquaintance of mine because I heard they are very honest mechanics. I have visited this shop twice to confirm my "car problems" that were reported on two separate occasions by Midas and Jiffy Lube, both of which gave me an estimated quote in excess of $1000. Both of these times, I came out of Precision Tune Auto Care with a $20ish charge for an oil change. Enough said. I'm really sick and tired of the scamming by car mechanics and to know that I'm at peace of mind when I go to this shop makes it well worth the trip to go out to Clinton to get my car serviced. As for customer service, recently, the owner's son, CJ, offered me food from the lunch he ordered for his employees (Pizza Hut) when I went in to get new brakes. Wow. What car center does THAT??!?!!! If I were to say anything negative.....it's that CJ may give "preferential" treatment to some customers. On my recent visit, a mother of a girl who came out on America's Next Top Model came to get her car serviced. Once CJ saw the model's pic in the mom's phone, he was in full gear: he chat her up like no other, opened the store door for her as she exited, opened her car door, and made 3 customers wait in line for 10 minutes while he chatted with her outside at her car. The daughter was smoking hot. YEP. Beauty goes a long way. YEP. Can't fault him for trying to score points with mum. YEP. Bah. Had just got a new (used) car and wanted someone to check it out. To my dismay, I was told here I needed new breaks and rotors. CJ strongly encouraged I return to the dealership and demand they provide them. I really appreciated that. He said he could repair it, but that having just purchased the car this was not something he felt that I should pay his shop to do. Well, they refused so I paid out of pocket here and Yelped about the experience at the dealership. Long story short, they contacted me and offered to refund half. I quickly called CJ and asked what he thought about that. He advised me that I should demand a FULL REIMBURSEMENT from the dealership based on his observations of my vehicle. So that's what I did. And that's what I got :) Appreciated his honesty and the work done. Paul's assistance as well. Was like I got a mechanic and a lawyer rolled into one. Definitely sticking with this shop! ps. Seemed like CJ knew everyone entering the shop by name so definitely a ton of return customers here. A loyal clientele base is always a good sign.
