My mom was here for just short of 1 week for physical therapy after a long hospital stay. The entire medical team and staff were very caring, supportive, and attentive. The residents and staff felt more like family. We brought mom back home early due to her rapidly advancing late-stage of dementia. The early discharge from Pineview had nothing to do with the quality of treatment mom was receiving. I would absolutely recommend FutureCare Pineview if a need arises for inpatient care in the future. read more

This place is a fucking travesty. It smells AWFUL each & every time I go visit my dad, which is weekly, and the staff seem immune or numb to it. My father's kindle was stolen while he was in the hospital, they constantly move his belongings and today was the worst, they brought him a frozen turkey burger for lunch. Like actually still with frost from the freezer on it. I spoke to the "supervisor" of the kitchen Solomon and he tried to argue and tell me it wasn't frozen even though my father had sent me a picture of the food! This place is the worst and I truly can't wait until we get him out of there. read more

There is NO urgency to care for the elderly sitting in their own waste. Almost never do they answer the call light. Understaffed most of the time. GNA need to be trained that the feet and toes are a part of the body that should be washed also. Quick training and not properly being trained to care for the elderly. Constant issues. Multiple meetings and phone calls will get you no where. The facility should be investigated. There are no short cuts ehen taking care of the sick and elderly. VERY SAD! I give them one star because they didn't actually smother my loved one in their sleep. They were rude, unprofessional, and verbally abusive. My loved one also endured rough handling and was forced to sit in their waste for hours waiting for help. The food was bad and water in short supply. The nurses' assistants, who obviously did not want to be there, complained about doing their job openly. These things were reported but nothing changed.There were two COVID outbreaks during their stay, so there was precious little rehabilitation happening: they visited the gym less than five times in a 51 day stay and they have made much better progress since coming home, although they have had nightmares about the trauma they endured there. Bottom line: if we'd known in advance what it was like there would have stayed far away. Spare yourselves and your vulnerable loved ones this awful experience. read more

Future care? yeah right, it's August 24, 2024 it's 8:41pm, the nurse Angie had a nasty disposition about herself, when we called up there after my brother video called us and said he had not seen a nurse in his room since 2pm. He has been in pain, no one reposition him. He is on a tract and ventilator, he cannot speak for himself. I'm not happy with brother being there, they always ignore him when he calls for help. I do not want my brother to never have that nurse Angie who work his shift on this day. She had bad attitude and act like she didn't care when she spoke to the family. read more

I cannot begin to describe how horrible this place is. They need to shut this place down and start all over again. My loved one was there for about 4 weeks and ended up back in the hospital again because of the extremely poor care she received there. They over medicated her to the point that every time anyone visited her she was either sleep or extremely drowsy. Also, because she slept so much they used that as an excuse to not give her the attention and care she should received. She also developed bedsores during her time there because they didn't move her like they should have and she was always laying in one spot. There so much more I could say, but suffice to say, don't allow anyone you love and care about to be sent to this place. read more

All other reviews describe the extreme lack of quality, skill, professionalism, judgment, follow-up, care, or competence at this facility from the Administration to the staff. There are a few good staff but it doesn't make up for 98% who are substandard. Use the service "A Place for Mom" if you are able to use alternatives. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but I have to give a star in order to make this post. PLEASE !! I beg of you, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS FACILITY. My father was a patient at this location for a month and some change and the experience was a complete headache. I watched multiple nurses just BARGE in my dads room (no courtesy knock) without putting hand sanitizer on. They would just come in, do what they needed to do, and leave. They did not explain what they were doing before doing so, which in my opinion is a total lack of compassion, respect, and patience for the patients at this facility. My father's toilet was also blocked for 2 days and it took me his daughter (a visitor) to get them to actually do something about it, even though it was told to the staff that the toilet was blocked. My dad also had to wait an hour MINIMUM for water or any type of assistance. My dad just had a hip replacement and needed help standing but the nurses took their precious time getting to him. His hip ended up coming out of place as he was waiting and the nurse responded AFTER 45 MINUTES of my dad and his roommate yelling "Help" saying to him "It's only one of me, I'll get to you when I get to you" and left back out. My dad is also a diabetic and his sugar went low one night to the point of him almost blacking out. He called down to the nurse station for help, do you think they came?? NO! It took his neighbor across the hall to get the nurse attention in order to attend to my dad. This is just HALF of what we experienced at this facility and he was only there for a month!! I definitely DO NOT recommend this facility. It will be a headache for both you and your family member. read more

This is not a place to take anyone for care. My father is paralyzed from the waist down and they left him in bed, saturated in his own urine (and on 2 occasions a diaper full of poop) for hours. The weekends are especially horrible, with staff telling him " do it yourself" even though they knew he was paralyzed. After 2 weeks I had to take him to the ER where they immediately admitted him. read more

I tried to be optimistic that the negative reviews I read regarding FutureCare Pineview were an exaggeration, but unfortunately, I've witnessed on more than one occasion that they are not. My relative is here only because there were no other beds available at the time of her hospital discharge. Staff have entered the room without knocking, identifying themselves, or having on a nametag. Staff have handed patients medication in a cup without identifying what they were or what they were for, and when asked, a response was given with an attitude, curt tone, and told "just take them". Physical Therapy is 30 minutes or less in a 24-hour day, five days a week and only four days a week if a holiday falls on the weekend; also can also be missed due to patients waiting to be cleaned. Weekends are grossly under-staffed where I've witnessed five call lights on at one time on the 4th floor hallway and no medical professionals to be found. On numerous occasions, patients are left to sit in urine-soaked and defecated garments and linen for more than eight hours (my relative was not cleaned up until 3:30pm in the afternoon on one occasion and not until 11:30pm at night on another occasion, just to name a few). Staff can be heard talking loud to other staff or on the speaker of their phone directly outside of the patients' room (once a nurse hollered in the hallway "ok, who want water?"). In addition, yes the menu options and presentation is subpar, oftentimes cold, and items ordered missing. Lastly, No discharge planning has taken place although they have informed my relative (who lives by herself and is unable to stand or walk on her own) that she will be going home in less than a week. Please make sure to do your due diligence and research other facilities before allowing your relative or loved one to be admitted here. Out of all of the staff encountered on the 4th floor, these three consistently have great dispositions, bedside manner, and offer genuine compassionate care - Kudos to Ms. Pearlette, Mr. Bryce, and Ms. Esther. read more

The initial impression was positive because of renovations to the facility. My husband was there and I requested he be moved to another room because the staff kept the room so cold he had chill bumps on his arms. The second room temperature was better; but I had to clean the room before he moved in. When he was able to eat he thought the food was well prepared and tasty. The physical therapy was a joke. His PT often left him sitting without assistance and I'd find his feet swollen. There are only few facilities that accept vent patients and this was a horrible experience. My husband died because the feeding tube was not flushed and he experienced multiple infections. Some of the Respiratory therapist are good but the weekend fill in RTs seemed careless. They put the speaker valves on unsanitary tables and are slow to respond to requests for suctioning. When the lights are on, staff often ignore patients requests for assistance. The GNAs take long breaks right after dinner so that they are no where to be found when the patients need them most. My husband was there a month before the Social Worker agreed to hold a caregiver meeting. On a revisit, he was changed to long term care without consulting the family. read more
