I was able to roll it into McDonald's on Russ Ave and did a quick search for a mechanic available in the evening. Nathan to the rescue! He talked me through what might be wrong and I had my car towed to his shop. It ended up being a fairly simple job of replacing ignition coils, sparkplugs, and the valve cover. He also adapted a hose piece himself that saved me $200. He explained everything to me, sent me pictures, and was affordable. He even had my car dropped off since I live close to the shop. Car is running better than before. Highly recommend his shop, Nathan is a skilled mechanic and all around good human being.

(In our case, we decided not to have the repairs actually done, because no point in spending $8k+ to repair a $4-5k car). I'd still consider them worth checking out if you're having issues, because even if they don't turn out to be the right place to get the work done, they're honest, and that's worth a lot.

The lot is so full that they often park cars across the street! Then you meet Greg.. Greg, the owner, is one of the nicest guys ever. He has remembered my name ever since I first went to him to have my check engine light scanned. He will tell you what is wrong and with a "no problem" you will have your car fix and fixed right. His sons also work at the garage and I love the fact that it is a family run local business. We have a mini van that travels to Boston and central Florida yearly and has racked up quite a few miles. Even though it runs great it has had a few things in need of repair. Every time we bring it in Greg meets us with a smile and has the car fixed right the first time. Because they are so good they are very busy, so make sure you have an appointment or it may take a few days to get your car back. Import Connection is also fair. We have never had to fight with them or left unsatisfied. They have always beaten other quotes and I never feel like I have been taken advantage of. A huge plus!! This may sound like someone close to the family wrote this review, or a yelp sales pitch but I am just a guy who was referred to them by a work friend and I have been blown away! I have referred quite a few friends and colleagues and if you ask them they will tell you the same. If nothing else just try this place out and you will see.

Next interaction took 3 weeks, at least 3 trips to the dealer and a loaner car to replace the tire sensor on a brand new car after i ran over a nail. At first they wanted to send me home, said nothing was wrong. Three weeks later - tire fixed. Ok. Back today 6 months later after I ran over a screw. They said they could help me out, I guess I should've known that meant $400 for a new tire. I'm off to DiscountTire for the same tire for considerably less. Fool me once..... shame on me. I'm writing this review as a reminder to myself to never waste time or money here again. It costs twice as much and takes 3x as long. I almost gave 1 star but I like Marc.
