Was driving to work this morning when my car just died - in the middle of the road - tying up…read moretraffic at rush hour. Had Steve's need and phone in my address book as a friend had recently recommended the shop. Called AAA and had the car towed there - having never been there before. Talked to Steve on the phone and explained what had happened just prior to the car dying. He said he would take a look at it - but off the top of his head it could be a fan belt, the battery or the alternator. Early afternoon - call from Steve - car fixed - it was the alternator $303 (the part was $185). Went to pick it up at the end of the day...couldn't have been nicer - answered a few questions I had, gave me an estimate on additional work I need done in the future (which I requested - he did not suggest it) Bottom line - great service, honesty, integrity and fair prices. These are a lost art in car repair. The shop is a true working shop- don't expect a cutesie waiting area and crap like that - this is a place where real mechanics work. Grease, grime, parts, cars and tools - and the shop dog too :) Home run for this place.

This TRANSACTION TOOK PLACE ON MY LUNCH HOUR Easy in. Easy out. I don't know names. But I know the people who served me were EFFICIENT, THOROUGH and KNOWLEDGEABLE.
