I was clear i was going to do dry camping without AC. Close to 200 dollars. I trusted him. Went dry camping and this charger only works if plugged to AC. He told me the cable was to keep battery charged. Big lie. Went back to return it after terrible camping experience and they wanted receipts and the box! So now I have a useless battery charger that only charges when if ac connected!! After being a loyal customer for last 10 years I am done with this store. Please be careful with what they tell you u need. Terrible and sad this happened.

my car had a blow out at 4:30am on Monday on Lapalco at the foot of the Lapalco bridge in Harvey…read moreand AAA said they would have their tow truck there in 80+ min. the JPSO deputy that was protecting us with his lights said he could get a tow allot faster but it would cost so I let him call. traffic was starting to zoom by and it was getting dangerous. people have no respect for the flashing blue and red lights anymore. Jakes was there within 30 min and the car was gone. tow truck driver went above and beyond to hook it up. went the next morning to Avondale to get it and called AAA to have someone come replace the tire with the spare. because it was in a puddle the AAA (United) driver wasn't happy and was being stubborn and Jakes team was nice enough to get it to the parking lot in front of the building. for some reason, the AAA driver yelled something out of his vehicle door and took off from Jakes without changing the tire, and without telling me what was going on. Jakes team changed the tire for me. they didn't have to do that. so I asked if they had a part that my sister needed for her car and I bought it and was on my way. Jakes went above and beyond. all the guys were nice and friendly. just wish AAA would contract with Jakes.

When I told them they didn't have my permission to look in my truck for my registration, they told me very plainly that I couldn't have it at all, failing to mention I could bring a new one in instead.
