Employee Expertise- Nobody knows everything about cars. Let's say I ask Mary a question. She might say "Bill knows all about that. Let me run and go get him." Sure enough, Bill is an encyclopedia on that subject. Just awesome! Pricing- I've been to the competition, and they are right in line with everyone else. A bonus is that their return policy is easy and quick. It's extremely likely that, if you visit, you'll find what you need. A solid experience all around.

Read on- Arriving- They are directly on the Northbound side of US Route 27 and a snap to find. There is a more than adequate private parking lot with two entrances and excellent handicapped parking. What more could you ask for! Ambience- Spotless, well lit, and beautifully organized! The App- It' solid and the usual deal. Sign up for notifications of deals etc. Product- The stuff in retail packaging is, as typical, serve-yourself. I don't come in often enough to learn the store, so I just ask where something is located. It's never a problem. Of course, they have a large stockroom where they have thousands of parts that are not in retail packaging. Customer Service- I'm always just blown away with how good they are! I needed some new windshield wipers. I gave the very nice lady the make and model of my car. She pulled up many choices on the computer screen. I chose Rain-X, and she retrieved them for me. I asked if she would put them on for me and received a smile and a quick "Of course!" She placed a towel on the hood of my car to protect it as she laid down the old wiper blades. Just wow! I was in and out in 10 minutes with a smile on my face! Conclusion- I was the 1st to review these fine folks 9 years ago and have since visited many times. I called and told them I suspect that the controller board is bad can they test it? No way to test it but they can swap it out to see if it works correctly with a new board. Okay, I'm thinking that this shouldn't be a big deal. I even took the outside cover off the furnace and put it back on afterwards. It probably took all of fifteen minutes to swap the board yet I was charged 45 minutes. The problem appeared to be the board but I wasn't going to pay the $200 they wanted for a board when I could get one for $65. That's probably why Glenn overcharged me for the diagnostic. Unscrupulous business practice if you ask me. My mistake was in not getting an estimate beforehand. I won't make that mistake again nor will I use this business again.

An hour and forty-five minutes later I had not received a text. I went back to the auto center. I could see my car outside that had been moved, so I assumed it was ready. I waited about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Finally, the guy waited on me. After a few more minutes he returns and tells me my car has not even been seen. I was not happy and I let him know. He told me he was in charge, apologized, and said he'd meet me there tomorrow early. I kinda felt sorry for him since he was the only one there and he was being as nice as possible, considering the circumstances.

My benefactor said that Thursday lunch was crazy due to said tacos and insisted we show up at one PM to avoid the madness! Across the country there are hundreds of Legions, VFWs, Moose Lodges, and several similar joints. I'm a Moose member so I had expectations! I expected particularly good home-style food and very low prices. Let's see if my expectations were met! Atmosphere- As expected, it was an older building but nicely maintained. There is a large dining room / meeting room with plenty of tables. There is a large spectacular adjoining bar seating about 20. There's a TouchTunes jukebox, tons of TVs, and all manner of electronic games. The vibe is happy folks having a good time and it's engaging and addictive! Adult Libations- Speaking of bars, this is a full bar with all the basics with an emphasis on basic! There are about six or so basic drafts. Any traditional drink would be no problem. Food- Quite simply I was there for the tacos as was everyone else! Everywhere you looked there was tacos coming out and being devoured. I decided to order one soft and one hard with everything except sour cream @$3.75 each. If you know me, you know I would rather have a root canal with no pain meds than consume sour cream!
