- Customer Service Perfection! -…read more I have 4 chain, auto parts stores in my little town. They are practically in sight of one another! So why is this my go-to place? Read on- Arriving- They are directly on the Northbound side of US Route 27 and a snap to find. There is a more than adequate private parking lot with two entrances and excellent handicapped parking. What more could you ask for! Ambience- Spotless, well lit, and beautifully organized! The App- It' solid and the usual deal. Sign up for notifications of deals etc. Product- The stuff in retail packaging is, as typical, serve-yourself. I don't come in often enough to learn the store, so I just ask where something is located. It's never a problem. Of course, they have a large stockroom where they have thousands of parts that are not in retail packaging. Customer Service- I'm always just blown away with how good they are! I needed some new windshield wipers. I gave the very nice lady the make and model of my car. She pulled up many choices on the computer screen. I chose Rain-X, and she retrieved them for me. I asked if she would put them on for me and received a smile and a quick "Of course!" She placed a towel on the hood of my car to protect it as she laid down the old wiper blades. Just wow! I was in and out in 10 minutes with a smile on my face! Conclusion- I was the 1st to review these fine folks 9 years ago and have since visited many times. My recent excellent experience was typical and not an exception. I'm increasing my stars to 5!

He did explain in several different ways how to try things to fix my problem. He worked hard in the phone to save me money and he didn't make any money in the process. To me this is integrity and a value that speaks to their care for customers. He helped me with no gain for himself and this is why I'm writing this review. Thank you again glen, and if the ideas don't work I know just where to go to try something different.

I called and told them I suspect that the controller board is bad can they test it? No way to test it but they can swap it out to see if it works correctly with a new board. Okay, I'm thinking that this shouldn't be a big deal. I even took the outside cover off the furnace and put it back on afterwards. It probably took all of fifteen minutes to swap the board yet I was charged 45 minutes. The problem appeared to be the board but I wasn't going to pay the $200 they wanted for a board when I could get one for $65. That's probably why Glenn overcharged me for the diagnostic. Unscrupulous business practice if you ask me. My mistake was in not getting an estimate beforehand. I won't make that mistake again nor will I use this business again.

I am always nervous when I bring my car into a service station, whether it's one I have been to…read morebefore or one I haven't been to. Will they "find" something that they say I "need" to fix ASAP when in fact I don't. A TIRE CHAIN STORE Clermont, FL: 08/11/2019 for an oil change said that my battery was bad, and they showed me a test on it. I didn't repace it. That was 08/11/2019. Now it is 06/30/2021 and I haven't replaced the battery and it has been nearly two years later and it still starts perfectly - and it tested fine when I had AAA test it at my house in March 2021. So the tire chain store tried to sell me something I didn't need. AUTO OPTIONS Avon Park, FL: 06/30/2021: My horn went out on my Chevy Spark. I received a price from a Tire chain in Sebring, FL and it was a very high cost to replace the one horn with another single unit horn. I was referred to Auto Options. I made an appointment with Auto Options Avon Park, FL for 06/30/2021. I arrived on time. They replaced the horn quickly and their price was lower than the Tire chain's price. The horn was an upgrade from the replacement horn from 3 years ago. The new horn is a better quality - and louder. In the waiting room: There was even a very good CELL phone signal in their waiting room so I could continue to do work while waiting for the repair. Normally when I am in any building, I can't get to the internet using my cell carrier, but I was able to today. My company doesn't let us connect to a WIFI but need to VPN using Cell signal if not at home or the office. I recommend Auto Options. I will have more things done on my other cars in the near future (horn in a Corolla and a kayak rack for that Corolla too. This service shop is a car/truck "toy" shop. Besides doing repairs like they did for me, they have lots of toys we all want. Auto options 106 W. Main Street Avon Park, FL 33825 863-453-2665 www.tomsautooptions.com

- This is the toy store of your dreams for your beloved wheels! -…read more It's said that Yelp is real people writing real reviews! Soooooo I'm not going to parrot their fine website. Instead, I'm going to tell you how I and many of my friends and neighbors utilize this place! I think of it as different levels of use. Check the Products section for this info. Arriving- They are directly on Main Street in teeny tiny Avon Park so they're easy to find. Mostly street parking here. Ambience- Lots and lots of stuff that's kind of sort off arranged by type. For example, custom sounds systems are in the same area. It can seem a little cluttered but it's clean and decently merchandised. Customer Service- I've never had a problem. There's a bunch of stuff that's fairly technical. So, if the person you're talking to doesn't have the knowledge, they'll quickly get the person who does. Products- I call the Toy Store Level #1. All the little stuff you seem to need like trash containers, sun blockers, seat covers etc. On my last visit I purchased a perfect, cushioned, steering wheel cover! See my pic. Level #2- Customized sound systems. Folks into that stuff will drool here with professional installation readily available. Level #3- Pickup truck customization. Everything your heart desires and more. Level #4- Tires and general maintenance. Catalog- Plug in the make, model and year of your wheels into their website for a targeted search to meet your needs. Conclusion- In today's world of online everything, it's sometimes valuable to be able to touch something before you purchase and these folks fill that need and more.

My benefactor said that Thursday lunch was crazy due to said tacos and insisted we show up at one PM to avoid the madness! Across the country there are hundreds of Legions, VFWs, Moose Lodges, and several similar joints. I'm a Moose member so I had expectations! I expected particularly good home-style food and very low prices. Let's see if my expectations were met! Atmosphere- As expected, it was an older building but nicely maintained. There is a large dining room / meeting room with plenty of tables. There is a large spectacular adjoining bar seating about 20. There's a TouchTunes jukebox, tons of TVs, and all manner of electronic games. The vibe is happy folks having a good time and it's engaging and addictive! Adult Libations- Speaking of bars, this is a full bar with all the basics with an emphasis on basic! There are about six or so basic drafts. Any traditional drink would be no problem. Food- Quite simply I was there for the tacos as was everyone else! Everywhere you looked there was tacos coming out and being devoured. I decided to order one soft and one hard with everything except sour cream @$3.75 each. If you know me, you know I would rather have a root canal with no pain meds than consume sour cream! Enough said. So, I got these bad boys to go and as you can see, they were huge! Each one in addition to a large amount of ground beef had lettuce, onion, jalapeno, tomato, cheese, and salsa on the side. They were giant versions of something you would make at home for a casual Saturday lunch for the family. They were delicious and two of them put me into a food coma. Time for a nap! At this location, there are folks that became members, just for the Tacos! You won't need to twist my arm to get me to visit again!
