This is just a warning to anyone cashing checks at the Lakeland, FL location. My daughter and I…read morevisited today, 4/23/2020, to cash her tax refund check. The person shorted my daughter $100 and we did not notice till after we left. I called back and talked with another person and told her what happened, being shorted $100 and without any questions asked, she advised to come get the $100. When we returned the person who shorted us was not behind the window, the other person was there and she went behind the counter leaned down and produced the $100. She did not get it out of the cash drawer which seemed a little unusual. Just beware, please, if you go to this location. Also, my daughter was told some of her money had to go on a card and when we called to set up the card we were advised each time she uses the card it will be charged $2.00 and the clerk at Check N Go never told her this either. Very disappointed with this Check N Go location and we will never recommend anyone to go for services at this location.
