This is a flood claim, in which temporary housing was involved, and everything from phone calls. Incompetent adjustors, lack of follow up and ultimately delays in payment were involved. We were specifically told by Warren yesterday 7/14/20 that payment would be overnighted today and received by Thursday 7/16/20. We followed up today to get the tracking number he told us he would have only to be told the payment was mailed out today and scheduled to be delivered Monday 7/20/20 by 8pm. Of course the contractor is calling, texting and emailing for payment for completed work (rightfully so). 4 months, numerous broken promises and more than a handful of "I'm sorries"! When we later on requested a quote for a different policy, we were turned down as a retaliation for dropping the other policy, which was significantly higher than what we were requesting now. Patricia didn't even bother to respond. We emailed a couple more times until she finally responded back, stating that they do not accept new policies at the moment. Sounded pretty odd, but It was not urgent for us at that time so we just asked her to contact us when they do accept new policies. Several months had passed and we didn't hear from her. I called the office and a different agent answered the call. I explained what we needed and she was very happy to assist with a new policy! I then mentioned that we were working with Patricia so the agent went to get her on the line. Patricia did not accept our call, instead, she sent the other agent back to the call and asked her to inform me that they do not take new policies. That was a lie from the very beginning and absolutely shameful! We had no claims and no payment issues. We had a policy for several years with them. She simply got very upset when we decided not to renew our old policy. This was extremely rude, dishonest and unprofessional. We are delighted that we took our business elsewhere. We just wish we never did any business with this company. They are dishonest and way more expensive than most insurance agents.
