And to make matters worse, they offered to give me a debit card with $50 of my money on it with Free loading for the first time. A Green Dot debit card and NO MENTION about the $1 95 "PER USE CHARGE" (that's what Green Dot calls it) for every transaction! $15.63 Uber charge - BAM! $1.95 PER USE CHARGE - $4.63 CIRCKLE K charge - BAM!! $1.95 PER USE CHARGE. I was declined for insufficient funds for a $0.79 soda at Circle K before I realized I had squandered $7.80 on fees. I'm a senior citizen on SSI so I don't have money to waste like that!!!Thanks for NOTHING!!! And they told me to call ahead when I get the rest of my settlement so they can make sure they have the funds on hand. Seriously??? I did not knowingly sign up to finance my insurance premiums or agree to finance charges. Years later, after requesting my insurance records, I received transaction ledgers containing finance charges and installment-type entries that do not match how I remember paying my insurance. I have repeatedly requested the underlying payment history and documentation showing exactly how my payments were made and what authorization AAA relies upon to claim that I agreed to premium financing. This is particularly concerning to me because I specifically remember going into AAA offices and paying my insurance in full. If AAA claims that I elected to finance my premiums, I believe they should be able to produce the agreement or authorization showing that I actually chose that payment arrangement. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and complete documentation resolving these discrepancies, I have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to reconstruct my own payment history. I am not claiming that every employee at this branch was responsible for what happened. My review concerns my experience with the insurance policies and payments associated with AAA, including payments I made through the La Quinta office. Customers should keep their receipts and copies of every insurance payment they make. Based on my experience, I wish I had kept every single receipt from every year.

We can do that for free at the DMV.
