The therapist asked what was giving me trouble and worked on my shoulders and upper back the whole time. Pressure was good! firm enough to actually do something without being too much. I felt noticeably less stiff walking out than when I came in. This place seems like a foot massage/reflexology place only, but they also offer full body massage with private rooms. The massage therapist who worked on me managed to get to the areas that were the most tense and checked in with me on my comfort level. When I originally arrived for my appointment, I was told they didn't have anyone available to give me a massage. I was then told by an employee that I could come back the following week at the same time, and that they would write me down for the appointment. Today, TWO HOURS before my rescheduled appointment, I received a text saying they had no notification of my appointment and that I would have to pay again. I have proof that I booked and already paid through ClassPass. The communication between the employees and the business is clearly a mess. When I originally went in, I was literally handed the phone by an employee and told to speak to the boss myself. That is not the customer's responsibility. If your employees are making arrangements with customers, there needs to be communication within the business so the customer isn't left dealing with the consequences. I already paid for this service, was turned away from my original appointment, was told I could reschedule, and now I'm being told at the last minute that my appointment doesn't exist and I need to pay again. It feels extremely shady, and the entire situation has been an unnecessary pain. I would strongly recommend getting your communication and booking system figured out before putting customers through this. So 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
