First time at Echelon and I loved my experience. I got the pampered in paradise package which lasted about 3.5 hours. My massage and facial were both great, Amy did an excellent job. My foot soak was good, I got to enjoy my snack plate during the foot soak and then red light therapy at the end of my experience. This morning was a wonderful experience! I had a Head Spa with additional Deep Cleaning done on my hair. The vibes upon entering is definitely wonderful as they immediately offer you a drink (wine or water) as you check in and fill up some medical questionnaire. And its even better as you enter the service area. During the service, they even check your scalp to make sure they provide the necessary care for your hair as well. Then after session, either they give you a blow out (which is an additional fee) or they blow dry your hair (for free). The staff were awesome and even gave me a wonderful surprise gift bag on my birthday! And if you wanna be a loyal customer apparently they have a membership. And even if you dont buy their membership they still give you a point card that gives you 10% off after your 3rd visit which is not bad. Shoutout to Aimee who made my first time a very relaxing and exceptional experience as well. Only caveat, there are add on services that unfortunately unavailable unless you have someone with you. Husband and I came here for a couples massage after receiving a text from them about a Yelp Elite special and I told Allie I wanted to treat my hubby to a relaxing day too so I asked about a couples massage instead. Allie was very kind about me wanting to book for the both of us, and even threw in a complimentary foot soak + the additional 30 mins for me. Absolute sweetheart move from Echelon, and I was super happy to finally be able to show my husband my favorite spa! They first take you to the room so you can change into a plush robe and some slippers. Then off to our foot soak, where they offered us water or you can pay for some drinks if you'd like. After our foot soak, we were whisked away to the room and met our masseuse, Nicole and Deanna. They were very thorough and made sure to ask us the right questions before the massage. My husband wanted to focus more on his legs, and I wanted more focus on my back and shoulders. Nicole did WONDERFUL with the massage, and my husband loved his with Deanna, too! They both listened to our requests and focused on the areas we asked them to look at. I loved that they personalized it to us individually. I feel like every other spa asks, but never really customizes it to you individually, so I was 100% impressed and happy that they listened and pulled through! I'm incredibly disappointed to be writing this review. I booked a signature package at Echelon to treat myself for my birthday after previously having gotten massages there and being pleased with the service. Everything was wonderful except the facial, which was a disaster. I told the technician upfront that I had sensitive skin and did not want to do anything that was harsh or would require downtime (since I had plans the next day). I'm not sure if it was a chemical used or too much abrasion, but during the exfoliation my skins started stinging badly. I informed the tech immediately, and her response was that maybe she went a little too hard. Everything from that point on was painful and I kept having to ask her to stop. At the end, I went into the bathroom myself and used a washcloth and water to get all the product off my face (she was using cotton swabs and what seemed like some kind of toner). My forehead and cheeks were red and raw with small cuts all over -- it looked like a chemical burn. When I went to pay, the woman at the counter informed me that they'd already run the card I'd used to put down a deposit (which was not mentioned anywhere when I'd paid that deposit). This bothered me for a number of reasons: 1) What if I had wanted to use another card? 2) I didn't have an option to leave a tip for the other technicians since it had already been run, and 3) When I explained to the woman at the counter how unhappy I was about the outcome of the facial, she said there was nothing she could do since their system had already processed the payment. She said she could maybe see about giving me a discount for future services, but that she'd have to speak with a manager. I told her that I wanted to speak with a manager regardless about the situation, and she said that none of them were in that day, but she would have them call me. It is now five days later. My skin hurt and was red for two days and I had to use burn cream to alleviate that. It is now peeling, and I'm dealing with numerous breakouts across my face (which is not something I normally deal with). My skin looked far better before the facial and it will take weeks, if not months, to get it back to its previous condition. And no one from Echelon has reached out to me. I would tell anyone doing any skin treatment to absolutely avoid this spa. read more

The front desk staff made me feel right at home offering me a complimentary tea while I waited a few minutes before my appointment. She soaked my feet in a warm peppermint bath, scraped away the callous skin, and neatly clipped and trimmed my toenails. We enjoyed our soak although the tubs were extremely small and I am 5'10" so my legs hung over. The massage was ok. Not the best we have ever had by a long shot but the ladies were very pleasant! I have already told several friends and hope they book an appointment with her as well. Echelon is new to this 10,000 sq ft space with years of experience in providing a spa environment and journey. I really enjoyed this spa! It was a bit pricey, but I had a good time. My husband and I both hand fancy baths booked. He had a beer bath that was supposed to include a beer to drink during your bath, I had to ask for the beer separately, which was fine, just for the price I expected it to be already prepared. Another slight issue I had was the face mask provided was a very cheap sheet mask that you can buy on Amazon for like two dollars. For 145 I would have liked a fancier face mask. The tub was really nice though, our attendant Madelyn was super friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed her service. The tub had a little table that allowed room for your phone. You were also provided exploitation gloves, a fancy soap rose, and a nice eucalyptus type spray. They also had a shower in the room so you could wash the bubbles and soap off if you wanted to. The music in the room was relaxing and the dark atmosphere was enjoyable. I would go back and try a different service if I were in the area. read more

When you walk in the door you are greeted by a very friendly staff member. The ambiance is great starting at the door and all the way thru the spa. This event was AMAZING! Walking in the atmosphere is clean, relaxing, and smells amazing. All the girls are so sweet. They pulled a heating pad out right away and put it around my neck while I waited. I got a 30 minute massage by Alyssa. Her hands were magic! This was quite possibly the best Sweedish massage I have ever had! She didn't make small talk which I loved and she asked a few times about pressure and if I was good. She hit all the right spots with just the right amount of pressure. I booked an hour deep tissue massage to use in 2 weeks with the coupon they gave us. I also loved the goody bag, that was a really nice touch. The only thing that could have been better was that the sheets on the massage table were super worn and uncomfortable and the head piece was off so a hard part was resting on my cheek. That is an easy fix. I love satin, soft sheets during a massage and for the price point of this place hopefully they can get some new ones. read more

I attempted to make an appointment online after hours through the Vagaro app, but got a message that my request was "pending". I wanted a massage first thing in the morning, so I made another and attended an appointment with a different provider. However, because I didn't cancel the appointment within 48 hours (the unconfirmed "pending" appointment), I was charged $175 as a cancellation fee for a service that was $115! I've attempted to get resolution by email and phone and no one bothers to respond. They are very proud of their ridiculous cancellation policy: "Any appointments that are canceled/rescheduled with less than a 48-hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the ticket price..." 175 is far more than the ticket price of the service I'd attempted to schedule. Live and learn. Since then I've gone to to Megan at Rinse three times, and to Laura at Velvet Monkey Too twice so far. She's pretty great for a strong touch. I will never ever go to Echelon. The staff was kind. This is not about the staff. This is business is a grift. High-priced services in a cheaply "converted" restaurant space. It's a spa that calls itself a resort, but doesn't have a locker room, showers, plunge pools, a professional sauna (and not a sauna that any consumer can purchase for their home). This business's overhead seems as minimal as possible. Good for them! Please spend your money at a smaller business that doesn't front like they're a grander spa facility. I attended a Yelp Elite event and upgraded my 30 minute Swedish massage to a 60 minute hot stone deep tissue massage and really wish I would have splurged for the 90 minute massage. Katy (Katie? sp) had a very calm aura and when we were talking about my service, was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to the right massage for me. She worked on my problem areas and helped me work out a few knots that feel like they've been around since I was born. Before I left I booked a hot stone Swedish massage for my husband after he wrapped up nearly 27 years in EMS. His masseuse was Katarina and she "was no joke and made me melt into the table." (Obviously his words). She had a lot of knots to work out and did such a great job of helping him relax on his first week of "retirement" before he starts his next career. When I visited the bar area wasn't quite finished but JG said it was open and very inviting. This addition makes Echelon a perfect and unique treat for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, or just a Tuesday when you've had a particularly busy day and need a high quality service to help you relax but also adult beverages. Wow... what a treat!! I drove up from S OKC and can say that the Hiatus facial was well worth it!! I filled out most of the paperwork online, via the links sent conveniently ahead of time, making check in a breeze. While waiting for Starr, a cup of hit chocolate was made for me--which was perfect because it happened to be super windy and icy out. They also had coffee and tea options. Not much longer, I was taken upstairs and lead through the maze of rooms and hallways. Everything was total zen, with dim lights and candle ambiance paired with relaxing sounds tracks. The room was quaint but cozy. Starr left the room to have me change to my comfort and I soon slipped under the covers of a nicely heated table. I lost track of all the steps and products that Starr used throughout, but let me tell you, each and every single product felt so wonderful and smelled incredible!! Every movement felt intentional, even down to removing the eye pad covers off my eyes. That, paired with the super relaxing shoulder, neck, and arm massage, made for the most amazing experience! My skin is usually super sensitive but so far so good. There wasn't any moment that my skin felt tingly at all. The facial treatment ended with a light misting all over my face, which brought me back from being half asleep. It was soon time to go, and I felt great. My skin was literally glowing! My mom and I went to Echelon for a facial with two of their estheticians, and we were blown away. The extractions left our faces feeling incredible, and my pores have looked and felt *so much smaller* since. We opted for the Arctic Berry Peel, and that was wonderful. It felt nice, and my skin felt completely different afterwards. I highly recommend it. After the treatments, we had to buy some products because it was all so great. I got something with mangosteen that smells delicious and feels like a facial at home. We could've stared at their products for hours. This is my new addiction. read more

The staff were so inviting, friendly and respectful. The massage therapist, Mel, was amazing! Her technique was so relaxing and with the right amount of pressure. The interior is very clean and well maintained. The front of the stop helps provide a divide of privacy for clients currently back in the studio. This place is way bigger than it lets on! The location is a little hard to find without Siri or Google Maps. It is located on the west side of the street back in a complex that looks like apartments. Don't be mistaken, though, those are businesses! Their prices are pretty average for wellness spas these days, but let me tell you, its worth every penny! Selected echelon because I received a notification that Lush had joined them. Asked for a simple blow out. It took the normal amount of time all in being less than an hour. I am 50 years old and struggle with thinning hair. At checkout I was charged 75.00 (not including tip). When I inquired about the pricing I was told I had thick hair.The prices are outrageous. For a better blowout I can go to a number of places and pay 45.00 (not including tip). They should be ashamed. I recommend calling around and going elsewhere. read more

I had a gel pedi with Ashley and absolutely enjoyed the experience. She was so easy going and was very patient to take care of me despite having a full schedule with some delays and one more client after me. The spa experience is worth the extra $$ compared to your avg nail salon. She helped me picked out a beautiful shade for the winter months. I don't splurge on pedicures too much but feel Luke id come back just to be pampered again. As someone who is extremely ticklish and has never had a facial, I was a bit skeptical at first. But given how transformative that first experience was (I went with a hot stone massage), I became absolutely hooked and had to come back to try their facials. Though a bit far for someone who lives in Downtown OKC, the drive up North is absolutely worth it. Upon entering, they asked me if I wanted a beverage while waiting - I happily obliged. My masseuse, Ashley, was right on time and extremely professional. During the facial, she made sure to explain each product she was applying - that, combined with the soothing background music literally put me to sleep around halfway through. No joke, its that relaxing! I left feeling extremely refreshed and my face felt buttery smooth! I will have to go back again for Round 3 and attempt to stay awake this time! read more
