They were friendly, but looked either (a) just old and tired or (b) like meth heads... but against my better judgment, the amount of work they claimed they would do for a pretty good price was hard to say "no" to. Well, to summarize - they actually did a pretty decent job... on the things they finished. But the problems were a long, long list: - incredibly slow to essentially do a "one time job" on tree, shrub, and lawn cleanup. Took close to two weeks for something that should have been 1-2 days at most for professionals (as I've since learned). - They would frequently show up late, work for a few hours, and leave. In-between, they would often sit in their truck for a long, long time, I can only imagine it involved using... things... they shoulldn't. - I would find weird things in my trash can, like tubs of ice cream in the middle of the day, probably because they were missing so many teeth from (well, just guess). - They left their tools scattered about each day. - They asked for an advance because (insert ridiculous story here) was happening. - One of the larger, key things we agreed (for $500) was to prune back my apple tree, which they never did. They ended up saying we shouldn't do it in the summer and should wait a month or so for fall when they'd come back (of course, never heard from them again).

He wanted to charge me 50% of what I have paid him and work out a payment plans to return back the money. When I asked why would I change my review as this was my experience with his company, he then asked me who I spoke with. After 7 months I have no way of knowing who I spoke with. I then got a story about a family medical issue and I elected to leave the conversation. This was the only company we reached out to at the time of the original review and we were told they weren't a lawn care company.

We had overgrown beds and shrubs throughout our property and after Jose's crew was finished, we felt we could actually see the shape and flow of our yard again. They managed to strong arm some pretty serious weeds and simultaneously free up and give healthy cuts to some existing plants that will now actually have some room to grow. Jose was very knowledgeable about northwest plants and their growth patterns, working with fruit trees, and maintenance of a large, diverse yard. He walked the yard with us twice (once by himself and then with his crew on their first day) to make sure we were on the same page before work began and two more times during the process. Considering all the work they did, Jose's price was more than fair and he did not add on for many of the little extras they did to make the place look pristine before they left. His crew was friendly and timely, he listened to our wants and needs and he made great suggestions throughout. We will be calling Jose again and I highly recommend you do, too.

He gave great advice on how to maintain them and came out immediately when we had a user-error issue (no charge to fix). Most likely the bushes will never recover. In the event they do, it will take years of growth to cover the gaping holes. Not only was it a mistake to jump so far over the property line (15' - 25') it is clear from the results of their work they had no idea what they were doing. Viewed from the street it is a real eye sore. To add insult to injury, they didn't even cleanup the clippings.
