One of my staff bought a trailer from Hub City RV. They said throughout the whole sales process…read morethat it was a minor fixer upper with a small area of the floor needing repair from water damage. When we opened up the floor, it was a sopping wet mess and the rot extended throughout the entire trailer from front bedroom to rear bathroom. The area under the kitchen cabinets was basically wet dust. Multiple ant colonies were living in the ceiling and it was basically a hidden write off. We contacted the sales person about an adjustment to the sale price (since it wasn't worth the negotiated price with all this water damage) and they promised to return our call and help make it right. The request was not unreasonable as it would help with materials to repair the surprise damages. After waiting a week or two, and doing more gutting and repairing we are told that it was basically the buyer's fault for falling for their scheme. ****DO NOT BUY A TRAILER OR RV FROM HUB CITY RV**** unless you think they have gotten rid of the liars and cheats that work there. We have photos and videos of the ants, the extensive mould, rot, and water damage and there was no disclosure of any of this other than the single minor floor repair near the kitchen.

That being said, my recommendation would be to only look at CVRV to see what is out there and go somewhere else, even the mainland, to purchase. In my experience, once you purchase the RV, they hope to never see you again, unless you are paying to upgrade or fix something out of pocket. I had a Maxxair fan installed 6 months after I purchased my RV. This comes with a 2 year warranty--that is ONLY if you are in the area. If you are out on your travels and something happens, you are sh*t out of luck. One and a half years after the fan was installed, it broke. I wound up at CHEMO RV in 150 mile house and they replaced my fan. I now have a 2 year warranty with them, NO MATTER WHERE I AM. If I am on a road trip, they will pay for any fixes if need be--they stand by their product and their reputation!! They were shocked that CVRV policy is to only deal with the RV's locally and they do not have a working relationship with other dealers (the CHEMO RV manager even called CVRV because he assumed I had not explained myself well enough or had misheard the information from CVRV). Additionally, CHEMO RV found out that Comox Valley RV initially installed the fan incorrectly and it was just beginning to leak. I guess it was lucky that the fan broke to prevent a major leak in my Class B RV. Buyer beware--I recommend going elsewhere. Kathy

Talked with Danny the owner who explained why the leak occurred and how they would repair it. Left the camper with them for a week, while they made the repairs. Revy RV Duncan 6482…read moreNorcross Rd, Duncan, BC V9L 5T3 Trailer dealer Trisha Mills 21 points   17 minutes ago We bought a new Mini Rockwood Lite from Revy RV 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems and repairs needing to be done. We had taken RV into Revy in November 2018 for some electical repair, a broken facet, and a broken jack. When we picked up trailer it was beeping inside and we were told it would shut off. We winterised trailer and 6 months later book a camping trip only to find the beeping is stl happening. We had a pefectly good battety on trailer that now was over charging and dead. Dave is the new owner at Revy and was attempting to work with us to keep us camping for the trip we booked..all at a cost to us..having someone come to us would have been hundreds of dollars. We decided we needed to bring trailer down to Duncan from Nanaimo. We cancelled trip and had 2 very disapointed children. We has to pay high gas fees, a reservation fee for a trip we did not go on. Dave did not compensate any of our losses or provide us with any reassurance other than fixing the wiring. He would not support giving us a new battery stating this was dead and over filled with water before he got it. Dave did not even say hello to us when we picked up trailer..brought it around and stated "this is as close as I can get it" I have to say I am disappointed with Revys customer service. With the amount of times we have had to bring our new trailer in for repairs we should have been compensated in some way. Dave simply stated, " I just bought this place not long ago". Ok, as a customer that makes it seem like what was bought before him does not matter? Yikes Dave!
