They trusted his advice and purchased a mattress for over $6,000, believing his assurances that he would make sure they were "100% satisfied" and that if there were any issues, he would make it right. Within just a couple of weeks, they realized the mattress was far too soft and uncomfortable. They went back to speak with John multiple times, but instead of offering any meaningful solution, he told them to "keep sleeping on it" and that their bodies would adjust. Months later, their back pain has only gotten worse. Now, he is refusing to stand by his word and has told them it's a "final sale." This entire experience has left my parents feeling misled, disappointed, and taken advantage of, especially after choosing to support a small local business instead of purchasing from a reputable Canadian company that offers a 365-night trial and full money-back guarantee. As someone who has personally tried the mattress during a weekend stay, I can confirm that it is extremely uncomfortable and causes back pain almost immediately. It's unacceptable for a business owner to promise satisfaction, take thousands of dollars from seniors on a fixed income, and then walk away from his word when the product clearly fails to deliver. We hoped John would make this right, but since he has not, I feel it's important to warn others: think twice before purchasing from this store. If you want honesty, comfort, and accountability, look elsewhere.
