I love, love, love this spot and already can't wait to come back! I came here with my family, and as a big spaghetti girl, I have to say it's been hard finding a truly great spot in San Diego, so I really wish this place were closer to me because I'd be here all the time if it were. The space itself has a decent amount of seating. I think we got lucky because it wasn't too crowded when we arrived, so we were able to grab seats with no problem which made the experience even better. Overall, the service was good and the food was full of flavor. I ordered the cheese ravioli and lasagna, plus an added meatball. I originally planned on getting the trio plate, but unfortunately they were out of the spaghetti and the meat ravioli. The cashier recommended the cheese ravioli and said it was a popular choice and she was 100% right. I'm actually glad I ended up ordering it. Since the spaghetti was sold out, I'll definitely have to make another trip back. Luckily, my nephew ordered some, so I got a taste... and wow, I would've loved having my own full plate. The lasagna was unbelievably good! Perfectly soft pasta layers, a generous amount of cheese, and a really flavorful meat sauce. Even the meatball stood out with great seasoning. The cheese ravioli had the perfect amount of filling, and the bread was solid too. I was stuffed by the time I finished my plate, but I still had to try a bite of the pizza. It was super cheesy and the sausage was bomb. The only downside was that it tasted a little burnt on the bottom. I'd probably just eat the top and leave the crust if I ordered it again. Solid place and probably your best option at the food court overall. I had never thought there was a good Italian restaurant in the small Viejas food court, until we checked it out. My daughter has had the fettuccine Alfredo and loved it, and I believe we once tried the lasagna many years back and were impressed with the authentic taste. The pizza has been so delicious here every time! Pretty much cannot go wrong ordering any pizza. Super tasty with top notch ingredients and they never burn the cheese. Which some (but not me) prefer of course.. We've tried several types of pizzas over the years, and what I love is we visit very occasionally and it has been consistently good. Years ago, had the torpedo sandwich and was impressed by the size and quality of the meats. I now always incorporate a visit here every trip up to Viejas! read more

I've had Adriano's pizza grotto prior; a few years back. This time I decided to order to go instead of dining in. I stopped by after ice skating. There were a good amount of customers dining; I ordered at the counter. I had the fit for a king 8 inch pizza (personal size) which had cheese, sausage, onion, mushroom, pepperoni, black olives and bell pepper. It took about 25 minutes to get the pizza. It was quite a bit of a wait. Once I got the pizza, I sat on the outdoors seating area. The pizza was so fresh, that the cheese and ingredients slid off the dough lol. It was delicious, fresh ingredients and the dough was perfectly cooked. I ordered their ranch on the side as well, it tasted great and you can tell it was homemade. Perfect portion for $1. Fit for a king 8" pizza ran about $13. Customer service, staff and the cooks were great. Dining area had a good amount of table and chairs. Decorations were nice. Clean restaurant. High chairs available for toddlers. Plenty of restroom throughout the Viejas outlet. read more

This place is an adorable, family-run business. I like all the food items I've tried so far. My favorite is the white pizza or Hawaiian pizza. The thin crust is not as good as the regular crust. I'm also a big fan of their homemade soups, which flavors change daily and come with a side of sourdough toast. They have good service as well, whether ordering takeout or dining in. My family went in at 715pm on Saturday June 6th. Mind you they close at 9pm on Saturdays. Ordered a large cheese and a large Canadian bacon. It took them over an hour to make the pizzas and give them to us. During this time around 4 walkins and 2 call ins came in ordered and got their pizza before us. We asked them about it and the cook said he forgot to start them. I am overall displeased with that service. I have been in the food industry for over 7 years as a chef. That was horrible the cashiers were very friendly but the owner should cracked down more on those ticket times for two pizzas. Disappointed--didn't live up to reviews. The large pizza crust came out half thin/half regular crust and burnt all over. We ate it, but looked around and only one pizza wasn't burnt, all the other tables had burnt crust. So, it's possible to have a non-burnt crust (1 out of 8 tables), not good odds. On top of it, my granddaughter was drinking a syrup water drink they called soda. She told us it tasted funny. We tasted it and there was no carbonation. so we told the server. Unfortunate. We were coming back from Mount Laguna looking for a place to take a restroom break and grab some lunch. This place is located within the Viejas Outlet center which I've noticed to be pretty quiet, low traffic the last times I've been around. With that said, Adriano's was full of people waiting in line to order so that was a good sign! My fiancé and I shared a 12in meat lovers pizza and a half order of lasagna with the meat sauce and meatball. Pizza was delicious and had a chewy crust and thick layer of cheese - kind of reminded me Filippi's pizza, if I had to compare it to something. Only issue was that the cheese was so thick and not cut through that when you pulled a slice, the toppings would get stuck the rest of the pizza and you'd be left with the crust. Lasagna was really good with the meat sauce (you could also choose marinara sauce) and the added meatball was the highlight. I did ask the girl at the counter if the meatballs/sausages were made in house and I thought it was strange that she didn't know. There was a section that was just a thick chunk of hard cheese so I had to throw it away, but other than that the rest was good. Overall, it's a nice little spot in the outlet so if you're in the area, definitely stop by! The pizza and lasagna was more than enough food for us and we had leftovers for a couple days! read more

I was kinda shocked on how good the pizza was, Especially the cheese! Walked in with low expectations and needed some drinking food - lol They do not sell slices but a small pepperoni pizza was about $10. I bit the bullet and it was made fresh. Took about 10 mins or so. Wasn't that busy at all. They brought it over to our table and it looked really cheesy. They don't skimp on cheese here at all. The crust tasted fresh as well not frozen. Small was 4 slices just enough to fill us up. Friendly employees and they even checked up on us afterward to ask how the pizza was. The place Is a lot larger than it looks and was very clean. I'm sorry but I was expecting much better quality for 3.8 stars. The marinara sauce had no flavor. We got the works pizza and the pizza was not terrible, but a marinara sauce can make or break ur pizza and it did not help. I ordered garlic bread and I tasted no garlic, just bread. When I approached the employees about it they said they use garlic butter but this is all it had. I attached a picture. It was flavorless. We ordered a giant salad and it also had little to no flavor. The dressing was tasty, but also pretty watered down. All in all this place has a lot of potential. With a couple of tweaks to their ingredients I'm sure they could knock it out of the park. My daughter and I came here for lunch while hubby is in the casino side gambling. This place is delicious and legit. My daughter wanted the pineapple pizza 8" size along with a large fountain drink. She got a Dr. Pepper. I decided to get a super torpedo sandwich and a large lemonade to drink. The torpedo sandwich was huge and filled with meats, cheese and lettuce and tomatoes. The bread was warm and fresh not tough. I was full from the sandwich and left a little left. Plenty of tables inside and all you can drink fountain. They had Pepsi products but I chose lemonade. I try not to drink soda. The guy taking my order was super nice. My daughter loves her pineapple pizza and we love this place. I happened to find this fantastic place just by chance! It's located in the food court in the outlet mall across the way from the Viejas Casino. I ordered the meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese and bell peppers. The sandwich turned out to be phenomenal. It was gigantic and very tasty, easily enough for two people to share. From what I could tell, everything they serve off the menu is also well prepared and tasty. This place is nothing fancy, but the prices are very reasonable and it's nice inside. We live almost 3 hours away but my wife likes going to this beautiful outlet center at the Viejas Casino Resort in Alpine CA east of San Diego. We always eat at Adriano's. The meat marinara sauce is rich and flavorful and loaded with fresh tomatoes and garlic. The spaghetti noodles are never soggy but always al dente and never sitting in an puddle of water. The meat ravioli and lasagna are delicious. I get the trio combo and take leftovers home. The bread is homemade as is the pizza dough. Even the Italian dressing is homemade. I hesitate to rave about them bc I'd rather not wait an hour for food once the crowds arrive (LOL) but rave, I must! This place was surprisingly good. I expected this to be your average food court pizza shop but was surprised that everything tasted fresh! Everything tasted homemade, made to order. The restaurant was pretty full but the staff was quick and friendly. I like the self serve utensil area, made it convenient to grab extra plates, napkins and forks as needed. We order the super torpedo and a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza to share. The sandwich was good, I liked the dressing that came with it. It really brought the sandwich up a notch. The pizza crust was perfection! The perfect crunch without being too burnt. I'm not a big fan of red sauces because it's usually too sweet but theirs was excellent.
