I am not factoring things like waiting room time, reception staff, nurses, etc. into this review. I went to see Dr. Clinedinst for a sinus infection because my usual doctor had already left for the day. She came into the room wearing one of those masks that prevent germs from spreading. The exam was very fast. She checked my throat, nose and ears. Then she asked a couple questions to determine whether the infection was likely viral or bacterial. Then she washed her hands, wrote a prescription for an antibiotic, offered some advice on OTC meds I should take and that was that. The whole thing took five minutes or less. She was professional but very "to the point" and business like. Some people may be turned off by her demeanor but I appreciated the speed. If you're looking for fast and quality care, and you don't need a coddly bedside manner from your physician, I recommend Dr. Clinedinst. If you're looking to make a new best friend or have your boo-boos kissed, you should visit Dr. Mommy instead.

Anyway, I've only been to one appointment so far, but Dr. Tanenbaum is definitely one of the best doctors I've seen in ages. My visit was concerning my hypertension -- I had been through so many medications with my family doctor, but I couldn't tolerate the side effects of any of them. (The final straw was when I complained of fatigue and had antidepressants thrown at me -- it says right on the bottle that it may cause drowsiness!) Dr. Tanenbaum really took the time to learn my medical history and devised a plan of treatment to get my blood pressure under control. Initially, I was afraid that his bedside manner would leave much to be desired -- the man used to be a professor at Georgetown. My fears were unfounded, as he was very compassionate and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Tanenbaum!

When I said I actually was ready to leave and would not pay since she was late for over an hour and she herself had a "charge the patient if they're late policy," she, Maria Garcia, shut the folder and said, then I didn't get my test results. She then proceeded to "go at me." I would stay away from someone like this who clearly cares more about collecting payment than patients. After the fact, I looked up her credentials since she was a referral from a PCP, and she has bad reviews online. Save your money.

They have no consideration for working patients who have to use their vacation time to make appointments. This is the last time I will visit the office. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

The front staff is obnoxiously loud, extremely unprofessional, and more focused on socializing rather than giving accurate information/wait times for currently waiting patients. If you choose to continue coming here, I highly recommend in bringing earplugs, because you'll end up with a total migraine from the shrilling raucous. The phlebotomist is super lazy and inefficient, and, I kid you not, I have waited over 2+ hours to just get blood drawn. The last straw was when I was told there was no queue when I directly asked one of the receptionists what the estimated time of a wait was; I waited 20 minutes with no updates, and, when I finally went up to ask what the ETA was for the phlebotomist, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't seeing anyone currently, and it would be another 30+ minute wait. The communication here is wack.
