He would immediately get defensive and rude if we asked him why something he told us would work one way turned out not to be true. He dropped the ball on a few key issues and rather than stepping up and saying "oh, sorry about that, let's figure out how to fix it" he dug in and kept listing what had gone well and why we should just be thankful for those things. Finally, at several points during the process, it felt like his priority was simply getting the deal done rather than listening to our concerns. Less of an advocate and more of a transactional agent.
