Most of their selection are without the harmful chemicals of MSG, PAHs, and sodium nitrite which are found in other brands. Although various meat jerky aren't the healthiest with the excessive sodium and sugar it tastes great every now and then. My photos are missing so unable to attach them to my review. When in Vegas will for sure return and buy a few more bags.

They have several vegan flavors too. I think jerky makes good presents because it lasts awhile. It doesn't spoil that fast. The jerky comes in convenient packaging that doesn't take up a whole lot of room. It comes in many flavors. They have mild, medium, and spicy. It has jerky mostly made from beef. They also have a vegan version. It gets made from a cactus. This has a texture similar to the real thing. It's not cheap which is one bad thing about it. It's about $8 for a package. They have different heat levels for this. I like the Sweet Heat. This isn't excessively hot just in my opinion. It's a locally owned business. It has a few more items than only jerky. There's also nuts and rubs.

Not bad, not bad at all…read more.. By the end of my first night at Great American FoodieFest I was soooo full, and disappointed that I didn't see this food truck in the beginning. I was too full to order anything else, but when I walked by the truck it took a lot of me to not order the Gumbo. The sweet order, offered us samples of the soup from the gumbo and I was like, whoa! I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. With the overcast weather we have today, this soup truly hit the spot. Be sure to follow them on WTF, "Where's The FoodTruck".

A local truck which is always great! The ladies at Kravin' Kajun were friendly and welcoming. They were proud to be local and their truck was sporting the "Vegas Strong" logo which was cool. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

Fun fact: Back in Imperial Japan, the popular Hawaiian dessert known today as 'Shave Ice' (called…read more'Kakigori' in Japanese) was made from natural ice that was brought down from the mountains in the winter and stored in a cave called 'Himuro' (meaning 'ice room' in Japanese), therefore it was considered a rare luxury, and a treat reserved solely for royalty. Japanese immigrants brought their tradition of this cool, refreshing treat to Hawaii, dating back to the sugar plantation days. The correct term, used throughout Hawaii, is 'shave ice', although outside Hawaii, many people (including myself till a few years ago!) use the term 'shaveD ice' (although, to be fair, that is literally what it is). Las Vegas has the largest population of Hawaiians outside of Hawaii, and is a popular holiday/vacation destination for many Hawaiians, hence the reason why this city is affectionately known as Hawaii's 'Ninth Island'. There are many flavor combinations and toppings to choose from, but I got the appropriately named 'Ninth Island' and asked for it 'Dirk Style', which includes a scoop of vanilla ice cream hidden in the middle. I've never had an authentic shave ice from Hawaii, so I can't compare this to the real deal, but I enjoyed it! Mahalo, Meowee Wowee!

For $27, I bought four varieties: a 3-oz. bag of Spicy Carne Asada, & 2 oz. each of Pepper, Teriyaki, & Triple Threat (the only one we've yet to try which supposedly has some heat.) Flavorsome & tender, though not bumping his favorites from their top spots. In hindsight, I should've picked up bacon jerky or a more unique product like Carnivore Crisps for him to sample but at the time I was laser focused on beef jerky. Excellent service. The food lived up to the hype, given that they're related to local foodie favorite Truffles & Bacon Cafe. Unfortunately, there are some logistical and organizational kinks- but these are likely just due to being a new truck and perhaps not doing as many events. FOOD: Menu available at ANM was a choice of two sliders paired with a side (fries or tots), and a Spam Fries app. I liked how the food orders were on display on a table in front of the truck, and they also had infused teas available. The Signature Slider is topped with a square of fried mac and bacon jam, which made it a definite indulgence. The toppings were good but it was still noticeable that the beef of the burger itself was not seasoned. The tots on the side were crusted with Parmesan and garlic, and were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Very good execution for the limitations of a truck, and out fairly fast! SERVICE: They were friendly and helpful, and as I said, the food was plated and on display. But they did not have a posted menu up, which caused confusion with people not knowing what was available or prices. They also had a POS issue at one point, and didn't seem to have cash available as a backup. The staff were nice and food came out fast, but things seemed hectic even early on in the night before it got busy. With more time, this will probably be alleviated.
