Wow! What an awesome find and rock climbing establishment. Found out about this place while searching for a rock climbing facility that could help my son complete his climbing merit badge for Boy Scouts and I'm so glad we discovered Adrenaline climbing! When we came the first day we were helped by Dima and Dani who helped me to get in touch with the owner to set up a private session for my son to complete his requirements left for a merit badge he had partially completed. After emailing the owner he replied promptly and helped me set up a date where his staff would be ready and be able to set up for the climbing merit badge course. On the day of the lesson we were greeted by Connor who was very kind and helpful and ended up being the one who was the teacher for my son. He was very thorough and easy to learn from. My second son wanted to tag along with us and was able to explore the facilities and learn about the fun and excitement of rock climbing at Adrenaline Climbing! I definitely plan on returning on another day to help my sons further their enjoyment of climbing. In any case this review is for a job well done by the staff of Adrenaline Climbing and a glowing recommendation for a seamless and fun experience. Been going here for a couple of months and it's been great! The membership is only $35 per month, which is sooo much cheaper than other climbing gyms. They also have a deal where the day passes are only $5 between 8-10pm on tuesdays and thursdays. Although this gym isn't as big or fancy as other commercial gyms, it still has a variety of bouldering and rope climbing routes. And the levels of the routes are pretty difficult compared to other places I've been to so I have been thoroughly challenged every time I step my foot in there. I personally liked that there were a lot of auto belay routes because it lets me go rope climbing without needing a partner! Something I wish the gym had is a spray wall area to warm up and do drills on. But I get that the place is small and probably can't dedicate an entire wall for just warm up. Also, the floor here is kind of hard. It is indeed padded so it's totally safe but i took me a few sessions to get used to because it was harder than the mats at other gyms. read more

We come here on Thursday nights because they have a special and open to non members from 8-10. Everyone's always so friendly, and they have a nice set up where it's casual and a great place to hang out as well. If you're new to climbing like me, don't feel too intimidated because I've learned the climbing community are so nice and encouraging! We only boulder here but you can rent a harness and belay as well. read more

Another kids activity! I like that we have this option in Suwanee GA. On to my review! Plenty of parking. Lots (4) of young help at the front desk along with at least 4 other HS aged ladies and gentlemen who looked to be just hanging out. The air conditioning does not appear to be on. It would cost them a fortune as they have 2-story dealings. It's warm but I would do the same as it would have to be charged back to the customer which might be difficult for the market to bear. Todays pricing was quite reasonable 2 kids @ $19 including shoes and harness. One of the staff helped them strap up, gave them a tour, and a quick getting started lesson. After about 10 minutes the kids were on there own which is fine as this activity is fairly intuitive. The floors are well padded which lends to reduce a lot of daddy worry (seriously). I think I could fall from the highest point in here and hop right up unhurt. Oh, about the floor, with all the kids at the front desk I had to walk around to get to the waiver PC. Anyway I almost walked across a small section of the padded floor with my cool checked Van's. As soon as I started one of the staffers informed me that I may not have shoes on the padded floor. His tone was rather um, authoritative! I hoped right off and elbowed my way along the concrete floor of the desk. So if I apply some empathy, in my establishment a person at the front desk "would like to welcome you to Adrenaline! I can see that your not carrying shoes or harnesses so I'll have one of my staffers assist you. Please tell me your shoe sizes? You may put your own shoes in one of the cubes provided. Please don't walk across our padded safety floor with your own shoes. One of our staffers will show you around and get you started. Thanks for coming by today. Climb safely!" I really think they should follow the QT/CFA example. It would generate chatter and there's no better advertising on earth. read more

Absolute blast! Great indoor bouldering and climbing, and very friendly and helpful staff. My 10 and 12 year olds both had plenty they could do and my wife and I had a blast as well. The varied options meant there was a course my wife could do that I couldn't and a course I could do that she couldn't. Everyone was wearing masks (early 2021) and it was busy but not overly so. Clean and well constructed facility with state of the art self-belaying equipment. There's the positive. Went with my 9 year old son tonight. Due to COVID they are only running 2 colors of runs, which is understandable. Unfortunately we found ONE run capable of being climbed by my son. If you are a teen-adult experienced climber, there was probably plenty to do. For us? Not so much. The ONE "red" run we could do we we told (when halfway up) "sorry - that's pink". When I told the staff member we were going to leave because there were no runs my son could do (hand and footholds either too advanced or too far apart) there was zero empathy or guidance. Years ago my older son (who was 8 at the time) had s marvelous experience at Adrenaline. It appears they have geared themselves toward advanced climbers, so this family will not be back. Their website promises "warm southern hospitality" and an experience that any age or ability level can enjoy. That promise fell flatter than a pancake - not even an acknowledgement of our presence as I placed the shoes and harness back on the counter before leaving... once we paid on arrival, we ceased to exist for them. read more

One of the best climbing gyms I have been to. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and VERY tough climbs. They do not grade like most gyms, instead they try to match outdoor grading. However, there are plenty of easier climbs for beginners to try. read more

I wanted to visit a few times before reviewing, so I did. Overall, the place gives off a family vibe that I enjoyed. Some of the people there knew my name after just one visit, which is in stark contrast to nearly any business out there. As a climbing novice, I found the staff to be very patient with me from my first visit to my most recent. I didn't feel out of place at all; even when I fell off of the boulder in the center of the gym a few times, nobody laughed at me or anything. I don't dole out five stars for just anywhere, but this climbing gym represents the very best in indoor rock climbing, while so many others represent the worst. read more

This is a great gym. Very friendly staff that is always willing to help if you ask. They update the routes frequently so it's never the same. My 7 year old son loves going especially on Friday nights for the cosmic climbing. I had been going on tues and thurs nights for the discounted climbing session but decided to buy a membership and I go at least twice a week now. It is a very laid back atmosphere. I have back problems that keep me from lifting weights at the regular gym but climbing isn't hard on it at all and it strengthens my core. WOW - Great climbing! This place is big and has a lot of wall space. All this is topped off with a great staff and affordable prices. This is a great workout and even though I am sore today it's totally worth it. A friend and I visited yesterday and had a blast. After we put on our harness and shoes (rentals) Brad showed us how to properly belay (support rope technique) one another while climbing. I have climbed in the past but it has been 8 years since I had gone anywhere other than at a sporting goods store. With that said we can say that I was a beginner. Safety is a big concern here and they take every measure to protect you. Even the floor is like a huge spring pad in case you fall that I enjoyed jumping around on (felt like a "moon walk" or "jump jump"). There are a lot of different routes (color coded by difficulty) up the walls or you can just free climb. There are different areas depending on skill level too. If you're new to climbing let the staff know and they will be more than happy to show you the ropes. I could see this as a great team building workshop as you and a partner support each other while climbing. Great for any age and a fun experience. Make a day of it, you'll have fun. read more

Cosmic climbing was a flop. Music was electronic one beat tempo the whole time which got annoying over time. Only part of the gym was cosmic, and the part where it was cosmic you couldn't see some of the ropes so we didn't know if it was twisted or not so we just had to skip a wall. Crash pads are hard, definitely needs to be undated. Costumer service was a joke. I was stuck on a top rope for awhile before someone came and helped us out. read more

I have two boys age 12 and 9. Finding camps that will keep them active and involved AND that they like is almost impossible. But I found this amazing place and it is perfect. My boys LOVE it here. They hike, go to water parks, go tubing, swim, and so much more, but what makes it so special is all screens are forbidden! They go in and start playing and racing around, then at 9am they can start climbing the walls (for real) and then they go on a field trip. They come back and climb the walls some more. They are worn and happy and have played hard. I love this camp and recommend it to everyone!!!!! They also have rock climbing training and classes for all ages. For all they do they are reasonably priced and worth the drive. I will have my boys go to this camp every summer and spring break I can (for ages 7-13)!!!!!!!! read more

This was a fun hobby to experience. I saw the Groupon and decided to give indoor rock climbing a try. I'm not going to lie, it was very nerve recking. The instructors there was very nice and patient. The voucher included a belay orientation class for two. The orientation itself was a bit tricky to get the hang of, but it was very fun to say the least. The whole belay experience works out your upper extremities to the max. I was sore for days after doing indoor climbing. You are asked to sign a waiver form, there are some set of rocks that you can climb without a rope attached to it. For a Saturday, the place was basically empty. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the climbing shoes. The way the shoes are made, they are like two sizes smaller than your actual size. So when you climb, your feet may feel cramped. Most of the instructors didn't even wear the shoes. Overall, this was a fun out-of-the-box experience to try for all the daredevils out there. read more

I have had three birthday parties here and can't say enough POSITIVE things about the site and staff. The owner is responsive to emails, and the staff are incredibly helpful with the climbers and with set up/clean up. Imagine a party of 20 kids (ages 5-7) running around; the staff smile and never get upset with the kids. They set rules and enforce safety during the party; the kids have a great time and leave happy and SLIGHTLY tired. I highly recommend this venue. read more

Be extremely wary when purchasing gift cards here. I purchased a gift cards that was advertised as 2 all day passes with gear. I assumed it was like a punch card and good for two visits. Nope. Went to use it the second time and the employee said it was to be used by two people to climb on the same day. Absolutely no where did it say this when I purchased it. You expect this kind of abhorrent false advertising and taking advantage of the consumer from big retailers. Never expected a local favorite to sink this low for a couple of bucks. Adrenaline is where I learned how to climb and one of the biggest things I miss from Suwanee. Don't let its unobtrusive facade fool you, once inside you'll have access to an enormous and varied gym with plenty for climbers new and old. The routes and walls, the facility and training are all meticulously curated by the staff and community, but that's just the tip of the power of those people. Trey and Brad know how to put together a team and a community without even thinking about it. Every person, from the A-team climbers to the new kids on the boulder, to the frequent birthday partygoers can feel welcome and then work and grow together. It's all held together by a passion for climbing and an eagerness to share with anyone who wants to learn a little more about the sport and about themselves. I went here to boulder here 2 days in a row when my home gym, Stone Summit, was closed for a week for the Youth Nationals. I'd have to say that it is actually a great gym for bouldering. I didn't get on the ropes at all so I can't tell you how those routes are. The quality of the bouldering problems was very high though. They had interesting movements that you don't find at a lot of other gyms. The customer service was excellent, the staff were super-friendly and they wanted to make sure I had a good time. I specifically interacted with Nathan Steele and Arian Bates. Those guys were great. The only thing I could say that was good but not great about the place was the lighting. It's not too dark, but more lighting in the back of the gym would have given it 5 stars. I would recommend any locals interested in climbing in a gym to check out Adrenaline. read more

This place was pretty decent. I wouldn't say 5 stars tho. It's definitely got a variety of levels of climbing. The walls somewhat look like real rock foramations with various angles. The walls are really not that high.... like two stories. By the time you get into the climb you're already at the top. They do have a wall treadmill with adjustable speed and angle. Took my 11 yr old grandson here before and had a good time for an hour or so. It really depends on who's working any particular day. It's kind of a hangout for what appear to be "cool stoner dudes with attitudes". Yesterday's staff was just the most unfriendly arrogant impatient distracted negative jerks I just don't want my kids around. Trying to deal with "Akeem's (?)" nazi attitude while stoner boy was playing drums on the stack of magazines behind him and the other "dude" was stuffing his face with salad (organic, I'm sure) all at the crowded counter; we just cancelled our plans and moved on. There are plenty of friendly welcoming places to take kids on a rainy afternoon in Gwinnett; this is no longer one of my options. read more

Let me start off by saying how amazing Nathan the owner is. He's been climbing for almost 2 decades and no other gym has that. This is a core climbing gym. Owned and ran by climbers. Great place for kids, but the owner is a huge jerk & poor businessman. After being told repeatedly that it would be ok to have cake with our small party inside without getting a party package, we were met at the door & shaken down for $50 to use their "mezzanine".
