I haven't trained with her a day in my life nor had a long conversation, however, since the beginning-she has always had a contagious smile and energy about herself that makes you love her and want to know who she is! The amenities are great, and I've really enjoyed the variety of classes offered. I haven't tried all of the classes, but my favorites have been BodyPump, yoga/yogalates, Spin, and especially Burn on the Turf with Deeno. His class had an incredible energy--it was challenging, high-energy, unique and he was always encouraging, motivating and would brighten up everyone's day with his vibrant spirit. It was genuinely one of the classes I looked forward to attending regularly. That said, there are a few things that have been disappointing. First, the parking situation can be ridiculous, especially during busy times. I've honestly started wondering if some of the dirt/grass areas could potentially be utilized as overflow parking. Second, I don't understand why they won't change the water filters or consistently have towels available for use. I also recently signed up for one of the personal training promotions. Unfortunately, my trainer was late or canceled on a couple occasions and seemed to have forgotten about my last two 30-minute training sessions. That was disappointing, especially after paying for the package. However, I will say that trainer is very knowledgeable with his gift. I respect him- but not the fact I didn't receive what I paid for. Should be, but it's not a huge deal. Let's just say I won't be paying for more packages in the future. Another thing I've noticed from a member's perspective is what appears to be a noticeable difference in how certain employees are treated. Management may not realize how much customers can see from the outside looking in. Some employees seem to receive significantly more recognition, opportunities, and visibility than others--whether that's consistently being featured on social media or being allowed to host classes that aren't even listed on the app for all paying members. It creates the impression that some employees are valued much more than others, and that's difficult to overlook. As a leader at my own place of work- who leads with humility, these things are very important to me. There isn't one employee who would be able to tell you they are not seen, heard nor valued. Lastly, I was extremely disappointed to hear that Deeno is no longer with OneLife. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to speculate about the circumstances. However, I will say that as a member, it was obvious how much people valued him and his classes. His Bootcamp had a following and brought a level of energy and community that was special. It's genuinely disappointing to lose an instructor who made members excited to show up and work hard. Overall, I still think OneLife is a pretty decent gym with a lot to offer, and I'll continue going for the time being. I just hope management takes some of these concerns into consideration, especially when it comes to recognizing the employees and instructors who make such a positive impact on the members. Thanks, OneLife

Poor communication, rude and unfriendly attitude The people…read moreat the front desk are very rude and customer unfriendly. I had 2 free passes from the advertisement they did on Facebook. Day 1 - I faced no concerns and they also confirmed that I have another free pass that I can use. When I come the next day, they refuse to honor the second day free pass. They did not even bother to see my free pass email that was unused. They showed no commitment about the confirmation their own staff gave me that I have another free pass. The manager was not present and did not pick up the call. They are just making fool of people with false information. Waste of time. Beware of joining them. The only reason I was planning to join this gym was because of proximity to my home. I would rather go to other gyms who are much more friendly.

I'm a paying customer and should be treated with respect like others…read more I recently canceled my OneLife Fitness membership after nearly six months of attending 5 days a week. During that time, I spent an average of 1-2 hours per visit and did my best to be a respectful member--reracking weights, wiping down equipment, and being considerate of other people in the gym. The reason I canceled wasn't the equipment or the facility. It was the customer service. The towel situation became a constant source of frustration. Instead of greeting members or acknowledging them when they scan in, the front desk staff often appear more interested in avoiding eye contact than providing service. If you want a towel, don't expect anyone to offer one--you have to proactively ask for it almost every time. What made the experience even worse was being repeatedly questioned about whether I was a Premier member after requesting a towel. After coming to the gym nearly every day for half a year, being treated like I was trying to get away with something became exhausting. There is a respectful way to verify membership benefits, and then there is making paying customers feel like they're being challenged or scrutinized. What bothered me most was the lack of basic courtesy. A simple "hello," eye contact, or acknowledgment when members walk in shouldn't be difficult. Instead, I often felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking for a service included with the membership I was paying for. Over time, I couldn't help but wonder whether my appearance played a role in how I was being treated. As a minority with visible tattoos, I often felt singled out and scrutinized in ways that other members did not appear to be. While I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, the repeated questioning and lack of basic courtesy left me feeling that my race and tattoos may have influenced the assumptions being made about me. I'm a combat-disabled veteran. The staff was unaware of my veteran status until I raised my concerns about how I was being treated. Once I mentioned it, their attitude noticeably changed. I was suddenly informed that they offered a VA discount, and the interactions became much friendlier. While I appreciate businesses that support veterans, it was disappointing to see a difference in how I was treated only after revealing my background. Respect and professionalism should be extended to every member from the start, not based on whether someone qualifies for a discount or has a particular status. I chose not to accept the discount and proceeded with canceling my membership. Ultimately, I realized there are too many gyms competing for my business to continue paying for an experience that consistently left me feeling unwelcome. That's why I canceled my membership and chose to take my business elsewhere.
