So we didn't want a typical home sale inspection, nor is this review reflective of that type of service. Let's start with the good. This company is very easy to communicate with. They are responsive and easy to reach out to. Joseph (who conducted the inspection) is also very personable. He did a thorough review of the home and even gave us some thoughts on how we might re-design, paint or structure the rooms in our house. Finally, the price was great, He understood the unique needs of my situation and adjusted it to a reasonable rate. My big issue came after the inspection. I negotiated the receipt of a report prior to the inspection as the landlord would need a copy. I had to continuously follow up on this after the inspection and then ask him to add issues he identified that I had written in my own notes but were not included in the report. Although I finally got a report, it took a lot of effort on my end to receive it (and it was a bit less comprehensive than I hoped for).

He got us scheduled quickly so that we wouldn't miss our deadline, and arrived early (which is on-time, in my book!). The inspection itself was terrific. Eric took us through every aspect of the house, from the HVAC system to the plumbing fixtures to the attic. Not only did he go over everything with a fine-toothed comb, he also took the time to explain what he saw and what he was doing. He never seemed remotely rushed and I have no doubt he would have stayed for several more hours if we'd had more questions. He was patient as I asked many questions, and I never felt rushed. We decided to the home inspection on 05/13/24. On 05/12/24, it rained very hard, and I was concerned about the new house since it is located next to a drainage system. Fortunately, Mark was doing another home inspection in the area and dropped by to take some pictures for me, mind you, I did not even ask him to do so. He just thought it was a good idea to do so since he was in the area. He sent pictures and confirmed that the basement was not affected. I appreciate this so much as it gives me a peace of mind. On 05/13/24 Mark, my realtor, and I went to the house for the home inspection. Mark is very thorough and meticulous with everything. He took his time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. He even spent around 5 minutes on the roof to ensure there is no problem with it. He also did the radon test for me.
