Exceeded our Expectations! 5/5 Stayed Apr 2019 Anne M.Charlottesville, VA, USA This was a long anticipated 3 sisters trip. We had very specific needs/desires as to where we would stay. The VRBO description drew us to the Adobe Casitas, specifically Palace Gem, and we were thrilled with the accurate description. From the photos, we determined the home was uncluttered, absent of owner's personal items....it was. The house was clean; kitchen was well stocked, without a lot of opened, undated food items; the refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, counters, cabinets were clean and plentiful; beds and pillows were comfortable; house was warm, which was essential as we arrived in a mid-April snowfall; plenty of towels in the bathroom.....home and yard were perfect for our 5 day visit. The location is within walking distance to everything in town, and there are good walks in all directions for those who walk just for exercise and exploration. We rented a car because we wanted to leave town a few times, once to see Georgia O'Keefe's home about an hour away and once for a spa day only 20 minutes out of town. Recommend both side trips plus one more which we saved for a future visit....the Taos Pueblos. Sooo many museums to see; the Saturday farmer's market is a must see; and the many restaurants and shops are all delicious and great. It is notable to point out how very friendly every one is AND how safe we felt. This is a sincere recommendation for this management company Adobe Casitas and for Palace Gem. After such a successful visit in this house, I can not imagine staying elsewhere! read more

WOW- what a beautiful house and location! My family has been spending the first 2 weeks in July in Santa Fe for 10 years and Plaza Splendor is our favorite vacation rental yet! The home had all the things you would expect in a top notch rental and then some. Modern furnishings and amenities with historic adobe touches. It was immaculately clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. I even baked a cake for a family members birthday and found to my delight a mixer and cake pan-yay! Our 3 favorite things: First, the location! It is a very easy and lovely walk to the plaza, less than a 10 minute stroll. And, it is right across the street from Fort Marcy Park. The park has an indoor swimming pool, fitness classes and a big outdoor field and walking/running path. The park also has a baseball field that is home to the Santa Fe Fuego- a local professional team that is so much fun to watch! Secondly, the separate living space on the lower level of the house. It is a great space if you are traveling with another couple or older children who want their own place but still with-in the same house. It even has its own kitchenette and laundry room! And finally the patios and gardens surrounding the house are perfect for vacation lounging and enjoying the cool summer nights of Santa Fe! The property was perfect- we are already looking forward to booking again! read more

I am concerned about the safety of my property and preserving it's value. I am concerned about getting the most income possible from rents. Adobe Casitas exceeds our expectations with these concerns. I am notified promptly about maintenance issues. Repairs are scheduled immediately. There are procedures and routines in place for preventative maintenance and security checks. I am impressed with Adobe Casitas ability to book both long-term and short-term tenants. They take full advantage of modern day tools such as VRBO, HomeAway, etc. They ask and receive feedback/reviews from these tenants which increases visibility on these websites. Richard's communication with these tenants are a significant aspect of these positive reviews. My first conversation with Richard gave me confidence that he understood my concerns and could do the job. Richard has a no-nonsense, straight-talking, yet friendly and sincere way of communicating both verbally and written. He listens to what I have to say and confirms understanding. His monthly statements are easy to understand and clear with no surprises. This makes for an easy owner-manager relationship. In short, I am extremely pleased to have Adobe Casitas managing my property. read more

Richard and Leslie have been taking wonderful care of our property since we started listing it for short term rentals. We spent a lot of time renovating Casa Ventana and using it as a personal vacation home, so we were hesitant to turn it over to a property management company to care for in our absence. Our stay at Rass Mandal was the experience of a lifetime! This is an extraordinary place like no other. The house has many bedrooms all uniquely and wonderfully decorated. The home is amazing with domes, archways, beautiful artwork, and statues everywhere. It's a feast for the eyes plus it has all the amenities you would want like heated pool, hot tub, large screen TVs, Alexa for music, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen and very comfortable beds. The entire house is made of Adobe which makes it extra quiet even if you are sharing the home with friends. The view from the outside is incredible and we watched the sunset each evening with wine overlooking the mountains. Rass Mandal is also very close to museums, trails, and downtown Santa Fe. If you want to have an experience you will remember forever Instead of staying in a hotel or modern home, this is the place! Thank you Richard for an amazing experience! read more

We stayed at Casita de la Paz for 3 weeks in July. It was our second stay there, and we found it just as wonderful as we did the first time. The casita is nestled in a forest of beautiful desert vegetation-- piñons, junipers, silver olive trees, chamisa, and purple sage. Though it is only 5 minutes up the hill from the Plaza, the place is absolutely quiet and private. The deck is great for morning coffee in 55-60 degree weather; it's also fun for drinking wine and grilling in the evenings. You may hear a chorus of coyotes in the distance as well. Inside, the casita is full of light, well appointed, with all you need for cooking (if you want to!) and a comfy king sized bed. It is also close to numerous hiking trails in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Richard was so helpful, we really appreciated it. This has become "our place in Santa Fe"! We look forward to coming back. read more

Richard and Leslie do a wonderful job managing our rental property in Santa Fe. They are always available to us and promptly respond to any guest needs. They take care of many things immediately but know when an issue requires our involvement. Santa Fe has become a very competitive vacation rental market and Richard does a good job making sure the property is available on all forms of rental sites. As a result, the occupancy has been terrific. Richard and Leslie take great care in maintaining our property and it is in immaculate condition every time we visit, and I am confident that every guest finds it the same way. We had a lovely stay at Palace Gem. The property is beautifully done with comfortable, spacious living and sleeping areas. The location is perfect -- walking distance from the center of Santa Fe and Canyon Road and a short drive to hiking trails. We stayed there with our two young children and everyone found something to love about the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances - we even made waffles one morning in the waffle maker. They layout would lend itself well to two couples sharing the house. The two bedrooms each have comfortable beds and their own bath. Overall it's a great property that added a high level of comfort to our week in Santa Fe. read more

I could not possibly be happier with Adobe Casitas. I have been staying in Casa Gabriella for 2 months, and will be here for one more month. The house is cozy, lovely, and very well equipped. The bed is incredibly comfortable. I'm particularly happy with the location. It is very easy to walk to the plaza, grocery stores, and restaurants, and the neighborhood is one of the most charming in Santa Fe. Leslie and Richard have been the best property managers I have ever encountered! They are attentive, quick to reply to every request, and very kind. I would say that you couldn't find a better place to stay, unless it's another one of Adobe Casitas' homes. read more

Richard is an exemplary rental manager. Always accommodating and responding swiftly with immediate resolution. I would rent anywhere from him at adobe Casitas vacation rentals. We recently rented Palace Gem from him. it is a beautiful clean house with high end appliances. The lawn was well kept and new greens were sprouting just before we left. If I could give some feedback, the bed linens were old, the towels scarce and the seats of the sectional sofa were unattached and kept sliding away from each other. The biggest asset of the place is its location - just parallel to Canyon road and about 15 min walk to the plaza. read more

We have been renting the same home for the week of Thanksgiving through Adobe Casitas Vacation Rentals for several years. Richard Woodroof, who manages the property, has been extremely helpful and also very responsive whenever we contact him to rent again for the next year or if there is something that needs attention at the property. (This is rare but sometimes it happens and you want someone who cares enough to get it taken care of ASAP. Richard cares.) We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rio Vista. The home has been beautifully rehabbed both inside and out. We frequently stay in vacation rentals and this home was as clean and comfortable as anywhere we've stayed! We particularly enjoyed the kiva fireplace with unlimited supply of wood; and the surprisingly good location. The house is easy walking distance to grocery and other shopping and there's access to Santa Fe's beautiful river trail immediately behind the house.
