They really are the best in town for concrete jobs. They care about their product and the owner himself shows up to the job site and works. Optimum poured a concrete wall for us, our pool dec, covered patios, custom bench and porches. They did a 5-star job and they'll be doing our driveway too. We went with a cheaper option earlier in our project and the work was subpar. They're not the cheapest in town, but they are the best. We scheduled a date to have the work down and they met that date even with the add-ons that I did. Jon's crew is very professional, artistic and thorough in the work that they do. I have a 118 pound dog who thinks he is the site supervisor, has to have his nose in the middle of everything, often playful and in the way, yet they were very patient and respectful of my dog. No. I followed up with some irritation that despite being recommended, they are doing nothing. What irks me is that they say they will respond 100% of the time - which clearly isn't the case. Why would anyone want to do business with them, when they have zero desire to return any message at all? Normally I avoid these types of postings - with just complaining without seeing results - but folks need to be aware of this supposedly "service."

After surveying the multiple degraded concrete slabs that comprise the floor of my 1940s house,…read moreMatt Hastings assigned the job to his concrete maestros, Gabriel and Carmelo. Hidden beneath layers of ancient asphalt mastic, there was no dominant level to work from-- so Gabriel drew from his knowledge and skills to craft his own. He and Carmelo then hand-ground down 3 medium-size rooms to reveal the slabs beneath, then hand-floated several layers of epoxy concrete over all. I was so amazed and happy, I told them they could call it a job. Gabriel insisted, no, they weren't done yet. I chose a dove-gray color coat, which he applied before the final texture and clear coats. All this in 2-1/2 days. Wow! Just WOW. Thank you SO much, TEAM Hastings! - Linda V.
