Burger and beer special $22 on Wednesday (I asked them to quarter the burger)

This is probably your best bet for live entertainment in North Burnaby. With the dwindling number of neighood pubs I would say try the Admiral. The ambiance is really a traditional pub and the service is great. Food is decent and they always have specials. If you live in the Heights they have been around for decades. This is a traditional neighborhood pub and they have tons of different entertainment during the week.

New ownership , new manager Carlos Rodriguez, who is very gentle and involved in the service and the new menu has a lot of variety . Rimzan gave us a very profesional service and the whole service is very coordinated. The ambience of the pub is so cozy and comfortable. Nice live music after 8:30pm and delicious culinary . Being walking distance from home , it is definitely the right spot to go anytime. It is a very nice pub!!!

I am Incredibly Happy that the Admiral Pub has RE OPENED under New Management! Tried the Lamb Korma - it was fabulous! The atmosphere is good. It's not as crowded as it used to be before the Pandemic - considering the fact that it's a Saturday evening. Looking forward to doing some KARAOKE!!

I come here early either Monday or Wednesday's for Turkey Dinner or Roast Beef. Currently Turkey on Monday is $8 something and I think Roast Beef is $6 something. You can get a bevvy pretty cheap too, if you come before 6. I've also come a little later with friends and still had cash to visit DQ down the street for a cone. Tip: Sometimes the firefighters stop in and say hi on their way to get dessert.

Hands down best $12. Pub Food, wow... Bravo Live Music & Wonderful food !

This place is bad. As in really bad. The food came out in less than 5min which is definitely not a good sign. Ordered a couple appies and knew not to order anything else. The food seemed old and was likely sitting under a hot lamp all day. Was also likely just made from frozen because there was nothing fresh about it. Lots of other pubs out there with comparable pricing and better quality food. Wish I could say more about this place but the picture speaks for itself. Microwaved frozen shrimps, day old calamari (batter was soggy) and dry pork ribs that tasted rancid because they haven't changed the cooking oil in a while. Hence the dark colour. Never again.

Gluten free pizza but they charge an additional 6.50 which is a scam for not being transparent in their pricing

Service was great however management can do better. They have a gluten free option for pizza but they do not list on their menu that the gluten free option is an extra 6.50. Which is quite a price increase. If they are going to charge additional for options it should be clearly stated on menu. The menu showed how much it cost to add chicken or ground beef to their nachos why can't they add the pricing for gluten free dough?!?! If it costs more for gluten free options be transparent and put it on the menu.

Checking out "The Ultimate Elvis" great musical talent for sure!!

The food's pretty mediocre, but the service is decent and it's a good setting for a casual night out.

Classic bar food from a place that used be a biker bar. All cleaned up and normal now though. Amazing daily deals like Saturday $3 burger.

We were fortunate enough to snag a tiny one by the pool tables but it wasn't big enough for food and drinks so we ended up moving before ordering food. We shared a small plate of nachos and a chicken wrap with fries. I don't recommend the guacamole, as it wasn't very fresh and just had a weird texture. The food was very average in my opinion. At least they have a decent beer list. They had karaoke and there was a steady stream of people waiting to take their turn on the microphone. Those folks were much braver than me, that's for sure. I love that they still have pull tab machines, those are always going to take some of my money, if for nothing else but the nostalgia. I ended up winning a few bucks, so that added to the overall positive experience. Service was ok - there seemed to be a bit of confusion over who our server was, but once that was resolved, we had no issues. It was fairly loud but not so much that we couldn't still carry on a conversation. I'd probably go back, because there are not too many places in the area that still have a pool table.

I thought, "There has got to be a pub nearby which will by default carry that game, right?" Well, yes, that's technically correct, although it took me about a two kilometer walk from the Element Vancouver to find one. Once there, I was a tad surprised the place wasn't hopping - maybe a dozen or so other patrons. Which was too bad, because the service was friendly, the beer hit the spot, and my veggie burger kept me going through the rest of the night. Would return the next time I visit the area.

There's free parking outside, just register your license plate when you enter the building. I went with 2 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we got lucky and only had wait a few minutes for a table. It was decently loud inside but it was still easy to have a conversation. The waitress we got was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I'm also super envious of her memory because there's no way I can remember who had which drink without writing it down for so many tables throughout the night!!! My friend also asked for a drink recommendation for the last round and she gave a great one. There's a lot of selection for drinks, as well as food. I really like their shared plates of finger food like tater tots and onion rings. My fish and chips were also very good. The table beside us ordered nachos and it looked huge and very delicious.

Aside from the time warp location, the food is easily 4*s, and honestly, I'd say it's better than White Spot as a comparable. The clubhouse sandwich contained actual turkey breast, not the deli turkey breast slices a lot of places use. That's an easy win right there. Very reasonable pricing to boot! It's basically a sports bar/pub grub menu set up. Pool tables as well. Lighting is on the darker side, with friendly and courteous service. They chat with you since they're curious as to how you know about the place. It's definitely not on too many peoples' radar for sure. They seem to like their hockey, as there are a couple of jerseys hanging. Guy Lafleur, Paul Henderson's autographed jersey from the Summit Series 1972, and a couple of others. Located in the basement of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is literally the Land that Time Forgot. I'm not exaggerating. Come and have a look for yourself. Free validated parking if you eat here. Recommend that you go for a stroll in the upper and lower levels and the courtyard whilst you're here. Maybe come in the evening during Halloween. You won't need to spook yourself out at a graveyard. This mall will suffice you plenty.

Service was pretty quick when I visited, wasn't too busy with about three other tables of diners. Food-wise: their prices and portions are quite reasonable but I have yet to discover my favorite menu item or their best dishes as taste for bulgogi was just okay. Overall, their weekday lunch special is good value. Though their food on my first visit wasn't especially memorable, their spacious interior + modern ambience + efficient service + good value and free parking brings them up from 3.5 stars to a 4 stars rating since this is a place I would definitely consider visiting again to try other dishes. And I am hopeful about finding items to my liking because they offer a fairly diverse food and drinks menu.

It's simply decorated with Soju bottles or posters of Korean pop stars or actors. Love the casual and laid back vibe! There is a bell on the table if you need attention from the servers, and they are usually pretty efficient and fast when it is rung. We saw that there was a $9.99 combo deal and everyone at our table was shocked. We all ordered that. The combo comes with your choice of a noodle dish (Jajangmyeon or Black Bean noodles, Korean udon, or Spicy Cold noodles) and a Beef Bulgogi on the side. I ordered the Jajangmyeon with the Beef Bulgogi and it was great! I enjoyed the nice chew from the noodles and the Black Bean sauce was flavoured well. I was pleased to find chunks of pork in the noodles also. The Beef Bulgogi was a little watery, but tasted sweet and tender. All that food for $9.99. That's unheard of in this economy and in these times! Amazing. We'll definitely return as we saw other great deals on the menu also!
