My neighbor referred me to Steve at Admiral Lawn Mower after my machine stopped working. He's been going to Steve for service for the last 15 years. Steve is a third generation business owner with over 30 years of knowledge of the industry. He services equipment from lawn mowers, edgers, leaf blowers, to snow equipment. Whether it's gas or battery powered, he will have the part that you need. I was able to get my Toro Recycler fixed with a new blade, V belt, and oil change for $75. His prices are completely reasonable and the turnaround took only a couple of days. On top of that, my machine was serviced by Steve himself - not a part time high school kid with a couple of hours of training.  You may have to call a few times because the store gets busy in the summer since it is their busy season. Check out Admiral's on Irving Park in Roselle for all of your lawn equipment needs. Not to be confused by the other Admiral on Lawrence in Chicago but both deliver great service. read more

Not good for ANYTHING! Sad level of quality work, but zero business sense. Not answering their phones. Promised completed dates are completely fake and ignored. If you need service in March April May September October or November DON'T GO HERE or you will wait six to nine weeks for anything!!! read more

Got our Toro mower in for a blade that was dull and an adjustment on the mower. It works great, thanks to Steve!

They promised to look at a lawnmower that I bought that failed to start- it was under warranty since it was only a week old and Menards had referred and was paying for the assessment. These incompetent people kept the mower 5 weeks and I had to constantly had to follow up - each time they would say "it was being looked at" They were refusing to release the mower until I paid them $80 when they were already getting paid by Menards! Do not take your mower here if you want the job to be done right! They are unprofessional and badly organized Their response to my review confirms a bunch of excuses- they forgot to mention that they were also being paid by Menards for providing an estimate! read more

The owner "Steve" saves the day again! Today (1-26-2021) we had our first sizable snow fall, 7 inches of heavy snow, and I was ready with my Toro snowblower. Unfortunately, I went half way down my driveway and the clutch cable broke, I was going nowhere. I tossed the blower in my truck and headed to Admiral, in approximately 1 hour Steve had me back in business. I have a 5 year old Craftsman rider. My kid hit a landscaping brick and the deck got pretty wonky. It still cut but not flat and the lawn looked bad. I went to a local LM shop and they told me it was not fixable. I think the term they used was "Economically beyond repair". They tried to sell me a new one for over $1000.00. A friend told me to go to Admiral "a family owned LM shop". They fixed it in no time for about $50.00. I'm hooked. read more

This place has fail me for the last time! I took a 1 year old snow blower that ran perfect and had them change the old and check it out and it was impossible to start after that took them 3 try's to fix before I gave up mind you I had paid them 350 in repairs to a 650 snow blower that was a year old. Next my lawn mower I gave them the Benefit of the doubt so I took my lawn mower to them. I told them that it would run for 45 min and would be hard to start after that and to do all the maintenance on the unit. I told them check the belt, change the oil sharpen the blade and see why it sometimes it hard to start. So 200 dollars later they gave it a clean bill of health that took them a month to do by the way. So 20 min into mowing it shut down again I let it sit and a hour later it started ten min later the belt flew off! So now I'm buying a new mower don't waste you're time or money with these people read more
