Nice little bar with food. We had our dog and sat outside. Typical bar menu with some grilled options. We enjoyed it!

City Of Legends Sports Bar & Grill - Spinach Dip

Basically same place as previous place, Draft Sports Bar. Same bar, same tables same pool tables…read moreand TVs. Food is a tad different and the same style. Wings, burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and sandwiches . But they do a southern style home cooking with specials on Sunday. It changes from meatloaf, fried chicken, fish (whitting) . On to our food. We started with the spinach dip, it is definitely home made, good taste, not the over creamy stuff that's probably frozen. Good cheesy taste and tortilla s are fresh. $6.50 Daughter ordered the 1/4 lb burger with normal toppings, comes with fries for $8.00 plus .50 cheese. We got order of 24 wings, 12 hot buffalo, breaded and 12 lemon pepper, also breaded. The burger is a sad sad excuse for $8. Horrible size it looks not much bigger than a flattened meatball. Wings are good, but came out barely warm and the $4 fry is just a frozen half basket of yuck. So not impressed. They've been open 2 weeks now and only 1 other table of customers at prime rating location. No signage on front of building and the building is WAY off street half hidden by Denny's. I haven't seen much advertisement on social media or in local papers. Good luck getting business . Exactly why previous restaurantt closed. No one knew it was here, but at least the food was better quality at old place. One more thing. Debit or credit card is a 3.5% upcharge.

So I had the $8 burger + the .50 to add cheese talk about a big wast of $8.50 on a burger and…read morefires. But I will say this the burger had the good flavoring that you look for in the burger but the size of the burger being smaller than the bun! I will never order the burger here again unless they increase the size of the burger to match the price. And maybe give a cheese options of cheeses and maybe offer to season the fries. The spinach dip was good you could tell it was fresh homemade along with the chips just kinda wish the dip wasn't so greasy. The grease made it look unpleasant to look at. Not much of things from when this location was the draft has changed. There's no personality to make it stand out for what this place was with the past businesses that where here. And when I hear a place called City of Legends it makes me think of New Orleans kind of soul food/bar food but that's just my take on it.

I had the trout fillet (I had mine grilled instead of blackened and it was moist and flavorful. It came with two sides. I chose broccolini (was a bit under cooked to me) and tasty sweet potato waffle fries (generous portion) which came with an unusual but good dip. Hubby had the soup of the day and the chicken salad. It was delicious as always. It's offered with pita wedges or sliced cucumber, or 1/2 and 1/2. We like the 1/2 and 1/2 option. It was quiet and we had an enjoyable meal. I'm sure we will be returning often. Our server was friendly, helpful, and gave about the right amount of attention and service.

We'll and its not cheap, when you pay $24 for shrimp and grits you dont expect to have to season it at the table and mash the chalky lumps out with your fork. Maybe I'm just not a southern gal, but pulling the heads off my shrimp and getting one too many little tentacles thingies stuck in my teeth sort of took the shine off. The fried green tomatoes look pretty, the batter tastes of absolutely nothing; all the flavors in the sauce. We had a nice time though and I'll always give local businesses a go over the faceless big box. Maybe someone will read this and give the chef back his salt?

The restaurant was almost full, so it took a little longer until I could place my order. With it being a family restaurant, the ambiance depends on other patrons (I sat in front of a crying child). I had to wait awhile for my food. When it arrived part of it was already just warm, but it tasted good even though my steak was slightly over cooked. The waitress was really busy so she couldn't check back alot. Since it was my birthday, they did give me a bowl of plain ice cream and sing for free.

I got the chicken crispers with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. I was surprised by how good the tenders were!! Moist and well seasoned!! I got the plain tenders and got the buffalo ranch, honey chipotle and Nashville hot sauces on the side. I'm so glad I did that because the Nashville hot was my least favorite of the sauce. The buffalo ranch was really good. The mashed potatoes could've been better, they were lukewarm and putting cold cheese on top didn't help things mix well. The broccoli was cooked well. Of course we got the cookie skillet for dessert which my niece loved. I ordered Togo entrees for other relatives which our waitress was very helpful with. Overall good lunch!!
