I got a glow and go facial, Brazilian, and had my hair highlighted (for the very first time). It was amazing from start to finish. They took 10 years off me. I felt like I walked out as my younger self. Holly made me feel cared for a pampered, as well as comfortable through the whole experience. Melody guided me through my first highlighting experience and returned my aging, darkening blond hair to its former glory. read more

Adevia SpaSalon - My beautifully highlighted hair and facialed face! - Day Spas Near Me - Forest Lake, Minnesota

I came here for my wedding day hair with my bridesmaids. My stylist was Stephanie who was sooooo amazing! She helped match my Color and put in my tape-in extensions. She did a hair trial for me and makeup trial. I have to say, I was blown away with the final product and with the service. All the stylists were nice, helpful, and everyone's hair turned out beautifully! Some girls got their makeup done too and it was flawless. I highly recommend coming here! Even though it's far away from where I live, I think I found my new hair stylist (Stephanie)!!!!!!! read more

I have been to this salon several times in the past two years since my hairdresser of 35 yr retired. All the staff are friendly and professional. I have Kim and she is so great! She listens to what I want done and makes accommodations at the shampoo bowl, as I have back problems. The feel of the salon is relaxing and calming. I would highly recommend Adevia Salon in Forest Lake if you want a wonderful experience. One very happy customer. read more

Went for the first time today, I had an appointment with Melody! Highly recommend this place not only was it super clean, but melody was amazing, I hate getting my haircut because of the way it usually ends up turning out but, Melody nailed it and I actually loved getting my hair cut (which I normally dread) but and my hair looks and feels amazing! I will definitely be going back for any future hair care needs! read more

Exceptionally great service and attention to detail. Haircuts, pedicures, massages, and waxing for children, teens, and adults all have been done well. It's relaxing and enjoyable to come to Adevia for services. read more

I've been treating myself to services here for almost 10 years. I always feel like a celebrity and love the spoiling I get. The front desk is friendly and welcoming. Very professional atmosphere. Nice size building with ample parking. My stylist, Michele, is well trained and experienced with a fun personality. The spa portion of the salon is wonderfully relaxing. Prices are compatible with the other spa/salons in the area. I highly recommend Adevia. read more

Worst leg waxing service I've ever received. Even worse was the response from management when I reached out.

Very impressed. Will return. Was able to get an appointment for a cut and eye brow wax within the same week. Arrived on time, staff was friendly, offered a beverage and didn't have me wait long. My hair stylist was friendly, offered advice, and did a great job. read more

I was looking for a salon and spa in forest lake for my sister's wedding but none of the locations I found had reviews. That said, I was attracted to Adevia because they use AVEDA products. I work in an AVEDA salon out of state. _________________________________ I went twice. The first time was with my sister and a bridesmaid. **I had a SPA PEDICURE. I thought the service was good and the woman who worked on me was nice, professional, and knew what she was doing. I say the service was good and not great because while it was a nice service, it wasn't out of this world. I've experienced better and at a lesser price. I must say again that my service provider was skillful, but there was no massage. She just applied lotion on me. **My sister had a regular pedicure and manicure with French. Her toes were fine, but the french tips were so wiggly and inconsistent that we had to call to complain. We couldn't have close up pictures of her hands looking like a drunk person painted them. It looked really bad, but a different staff member redid her nails for free the next time we were in two days later for our hair on the wedding day. **The bridesmaid wanted fake nails put on and got gels but wasn't very happy with them. Her nails were thick and were also not filed in similar shapes. No attention to detail. __________________________________ The next time we were in, it was my sister, me, two bridesmaids, her personal attendant, and our flower girl. **My sister's hair was beautiful and held up all night. She also had her makeup done and it was done just how she asked for it. Well done. **My hair was beautiful (Michelle did it) and It held up all night. **The flower girls hair turned out beautiful and held up all night. **The two bridesmaids hair were done like mine by different service providers. Our hair is a similar length, but throughout the entire day we had to re-pin pieces of hair that were falling out. **The personal attendant had short hair and simply wanted it curled, but the stylist really went over the top with the curls. So much so, that her hair tripled in volume. She then pinned all of her hair up. This is not at all what was asked for. Because her hair is so short, it would come free from the pins and it looked like she had several devilish flames sticking up on top of her head. Again, she had asked to simply wear her hair down and curled. Not impressed. __________________________________ OTHER: The front desk staff was nice, and organized. The service providers were organized. The salon was nice looking. It's hard to judge because it seems like on their staff they have some real talent and then there are those who seem like they need to get serious and train more. There are things here that work and things that don't, I would give them a try and continue to every once in a while to see if they ever figure out how to pull it together. I hate to rate the talented service providers so poorly, but it is an overall rating. 2-3 stars. 2 because I've experienced better to 3 because they really do have a few talented service providers making them a-okay. I've heard through the grapevine that they don't have reviews because they have changed their name several times. Who knows? __________________________________ **TIP: They are very subtle in how they ask if you want to add gratuity. Either bring cash or remember to tell them your tip before they process your card. You cannot write it in afterward. read more

Hands down the BEST salon experience I have ever had! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating I immediately felt like a VIP upon my arrival. I highly recommend this place for whatever you need to have done. From hair to toenails your whole body can experience the highest level of pampering and care. I am looking forward to my next visit in a couple weeks!!! I also have to mention the value we well. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be so that was a HUGE blessing so I was able to bless back the savings to the girls who gave me such superb service. read more

I have been very pleased with the cut, color, and perms I've received over the last 10+ years at the Adevia Salon in Forest Lake. My stylist, Leslie, is a Master Designer and knows first hand how to work with curly and stubborn hair. She always gives me great suggestions and steers me away from things I might suggest if she doesn't believe it will look good or work well with my hair. Highly recommend! read more

I have had some of the BEST relaxing and deep tissue massages here of anywhere I've ever gone. My facial, hair and nail experiences have also been nice. The products are effective and smell so good. They keep it clean and comfortable but not pretentious. Nice to have such a great Spa/Salon in a smallish town. read more

I went to this salon for about a year and used just about each stylist they have. Some of them are very lazy and do not scalp massage at the rinse bowl. I have even sat there uncomfortably while the stylist disapeared for over 5 mns. I have had my head burned by hairdryer and had stylist not come back in time overprocessing my color. I have brought in photo of something I wanted and it was dismissed and styled nothing like I requested. I have gone in every 4 weeks using the same colors in their computer and had a stylist color my regrowth in brown the color of my low lights changing my hair from blonde to brown! Did he not recognize the color on my head? How unproffessional is that! The place is dimly lit, my guess to cover the rotting wood in the doorway and all the dust and dirt that was hanging from the partitions seperating the stations. Only 2 or 3 chairs in the waiting room so be prepared to stand around if you need to wait for a stylist. I kept going back because I love Aveda products, unfortunatley the staff and salon is just not up to par with a relaxing and professional experience. I actually put my hair in a pony binder when I left or went home and restyled myself. BIG waste of money and after the 2nd mistake that happened through the Christmas and New Years Holiday I will never go back and don't want anyone else to go through what I did. read more
