We were greeted warmly and given a tour of the facilities. We didn't have much time before our appt so we changed into robes and waited in the relaxing area. We were both called back to our rooms on time. My facialist was wonderful. She asked if I wanted a play by play or just to relax and I said a little of both. The room is dark and the bed heated so it's nice to relax but there are also so many aromas and textures being added to your skin that it's fun to know what is happening. I had the basic facial and I felt like I was well taken care of. Cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturizing were all included. The aromas were wonderful. I loved every minute of the service. My friend and I met up again in the relaxing room and decided to try the hot tub next. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit to enjoy the water. I also gave the steam room a go and it was, well sweaty, which is perfect. I was the first person in and it didn't take long to heat up. It was so steamy in there it was hard to find the door. They also have salt water baths but I didn't try those. I was given a list of key products used in my facial at the the end. I was also asked if 20% gratuity was acceptable to add to my service. The building and area are beautiful both inside and out. It's wonderfully decorated and emits a relaxing vibe. The music was more big band than relaxing spa which was a little odd to me but being in the morning it was a nice pick me up. Great experience.

I was gifted a surprise trip to Greenlake for my birthday by my husband. This was totally out of…read morethe box for both of us, but I was excited to stop at Evensong. I gave this place a 2 because I was mostly happy with my services. A facial and a massage. The staff was friendly, but clearly did not read my notes on my 'please don't massage this area' note which I won't go further into, but for a few hundred bucks you think they'd look at the memo. Overall, the rest of the experience was super blah and mediocre. The 'relaxation' room is a glorified waiting room with stained couches and a few magazines strewn about that people can sit in between appointments. The furniture in the locker room also appeared to need some replacing - gross. The facility could definitely use some updating throughout in general. We went here for a relaxing couple's getaway and were surprised to find that both locker rooms housed separate steam rooms, whirl pool etc. It would be have been nice to hang out together between appointments rather than being shunned to separate areas to sit alone. We will not be returning - this place is outrageously expensive for an okay experience.

They provide goggles and clean beds in between as well (which yes, by law they have to, but they do a good job). Then, because I had recently moved to Fond du Lac, I was looking for someone to do my hair. I'm pretty particular and used to travel 2.5 hours to my stylist I had in high school because I didn't want to try someone new. But, I took a chance and HOLY CRAP I am glad I did! Kayce is absolutely phenomenal! She happened to be the person who set me up with my tanning and I would see her almost every time I tanned. I asked her if she could do a certain color for me, and she took on the challenge right away. I have now gone to her 3 times and I am so thankful I was able to find someone I can trust with my hair, someone that listens to me, and is able to have fun and carry a conversation while doing my hair. I've met a couple of the other stylists as well, and you can't go wrong with any of them! It's a fantastic place with extremely reasonable prices for the area!

Amazing spa in Elkhart Lake. They even offer private yoga classes sometimes, which ... what kind of…read morespa does that?! This place does. I booked a Swedish massage, and was very happy with it. But I think what I loved even better was the extra things you get when you book a service: access to the fully stocked locker room so I could take a rain shower before my massage. The steam room. The lounge area with complimentary snacks and beverages. The pool area with lounge chairs and hot tubs. There's also a cafe here, and you can order food to enjoy poolside or at the cafe. You could spend a whole day here just lounging and relaxing and taking care of yourself. My best, most favorite experience at Aspira Spa was relaxing in the Himalayan salt cave room for some halotherapy. This is a beautiful, well-lit room full of Himalayan salt, where you can sit (or in my case, lie down) and relax, breathe, and meditate. It was a transformative experience. I don't usually get comfortable enough to fall asleep in random places, but I was so relaxed and comfortable at Aspira's salt cave that I slept for most of my visit. When I left, I had a slight coating of salt on my glasses. They tell you not to bring electronic devices into the salt cave for this reason. There really are salt particles floating around in the air! Which is great for your respiratory system, but it's not so great for electronics (or glasses). Everyone who I encountered at Aspira was kind and helpful. The facility is clean and peaceful. This is a great place to de-stress and find some relaxation in Elkhart Lake.

Pro: - Couples massage was great…read more - Protein bars were delicious - Staff are kind Cons: - Only snack offered was tiny squares of protein bars and tea with no sugar - They do not enforce a spa level voice, so similar to another review that I saw, everyone was talking so loudly and there was no place to meditate, including the meditation room!!! - Even if you are in the meditation room by yourself, they are always doing tours for new people and it's loud and distracting - We were placed in a separate room for our massage but you could hear people talking in the hallway and the water pipes through the wall from people turning on the faucets and showers - The soothing music during our couples massage stopped randomly in the session and didn't come back on for like 5 minutes, so the noise outside was even more noticeable - Salt room is loud. I guess I didn't realize that they had to turn it "on" and then they do, it's this loud machine that runs. Overall, shockingly poor experience. I expected much more from what I thought would be a high-end spa. We spent the entire day here and booked both the salt room and a couples massage. The spa claims that "Aspira Spa is a favorite spot for those seeking a peaceful escape and true relaxation," offering "tranquil spaces like a salt room, whirlpools, and a Meditation Sanctuary designed for deep relaxation," but that was not our experience. In their pre-visit email, they ask guests to "please respect the peaceful atmosphere of the spa with quiet conversation." Unfortunately, this expectation is not enforced. The environment was consistently loud. While I understand that guest behavior can be difficult to control, it starts with the staff setting the tone. I wish there had been more effort to establish and maintain a respectful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were kind, but they contributed to the noise level. Voice levels user during tours were loud and disruptive. While the tour itself was helpful, there are more considerate ways to conduct them without disturbing those trying to relax. I had previously read a review from Debbie G stating that the spa was going downhill, and I wish I had listened to it before booking. We will not be returning.
