BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT - My family and I throughly enjoyed our meal last night. Nothing negative to say.... The ambiance was comfortable and I appreciate the wall murals with the pops of color. The service was friendly and punctual without being overbearing. The food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. The price points were reasonable. All in all an enjoyable experience. We'll be back....maybe next time for lunch.

Went out to meet some family the other night, had a party of 5 and the server was super friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was very nice and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great! And I loved my chimichanga! Everyone enjoyed the food and had plenty of left overs.

Service was great! Unfortunately they changed the cook and it's quite noticeable. My birria tacos and rice were bland and my tortillas were overcooked. My recent visit was such a disappointment.

I loved the Adelita's in Rochester and this one is just as good. Great service, great drinks (Coronarita anyone?) and great food. I was tempted to get my favorite, the whole tilapia, but tried the shrimp fajitas instead. Expertly cooked, generous portions and $20. Warm chips and salsa arrive as soon as you sit down. To top off a great meal, churros for dessert! I was in heaven. This is elevated Mexican food.

After watching this restaurant be remodeled all summer long, I was thrilled once they opened this fall. Today, I finally had the chance to stop in and check out Adelita's Mexican Cocina. The remodel is very beautiful! I love the artwork that's painted on the walls, alongside the beautiful dark aesthetic and well lit bar, which gives this restaurant a very relaxed and chill vibe. The staff here are phenomenal! Our waiter was very attentive and kind. His suggestions on cocktails & menu items were very well appreciated. Now, on to the food. We ordered a couple of dishes. We had Adelita's sampler platter, which was pretty good. Surprisingly, the wings on the platter were very crispy & flavorful. We also ordered birria tacos and shrimp & bacon tacos. 3 tacos come per order, and they most certainly do not skimp on the filling! I felt the birria could have had a bit more flavor, but that's completely my personal opinion. However, the meat was very tender. My husband raved about the shrimp & bacon tacos. He stated they were some of the best tacos he's had to date! (I'm allergic to seafood, so I trust his opinion on this item) The rice & refried beans were also very flavorful. The cocktails AMAZING! Overall, my first experience at Adelita's in the Syracuse area was wonderful.

The best thing about my first visit to Adelita's was the service. The server was very kind and attentive. Someone ahead of me was doing a take out order and the server offered them a drink and a booth while they waited for their food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is decorated with Mexican decor and reminiscent of being on a ship with the barrel light fixtures and a large ship wheel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice and clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What made this review only ok was the food sadly. It was very bland for me. It also didn't take long to come out which to me was a sign that everything was premade in the back and just thrown together quickly. The chicken in the enchiladas was at least juicy but they lacked sauce and flavor. The rice did not taste fresh and the beans were standard. The chips and salsa they provide complimentary were at least warm but again the salsa was pretty bland.

Love the Mexican decor makes the ambiance warm and friendly. Greeted at the door and seated right away, waitress came promptly with warm homemade chips and salsa and suggested the queso, which was creamy cheesy with pieces of pickled jalapeño making it slightly zesty very good. The pico de gallo is fresh made with tomato, onion, and lots of cilantro which we love!! The chimichanga and the tamale were stuffed full with tender moist pulled chicken seasoned perfectly. The Spanish rice was perfect accompaniment. There are several options for main items as well as sides and also a choose 3. One soda one water meal was under $50.

Finally headed to Adelita's for this mysterious new chain, skeptical since there are so many Mexican places in CNY. But, I was pleasantly surprised! The margs were good, love the ability to have a flight to try different things. The birra tacos were tender and the corn dip was so creamy, chips were hot. Definitely need to return to try nachos & a dessert, would recommend you try it before you knock it!

Stopped in tonight for dinner and love everything about this new spot. Clean and unique decor, fast efficient and friendly service. We had three different meals, the 3 way enchiladas which were fresh and full of flavor. Shrimp and bacon tacos which had 3 large tacos loaded with fresh veggies, shrimp and bacon with a huge side of rice and beans. Lastly one of the steak meals (sorry forgot the name) but tender and flavorful skirt steak. Can't wait to try more menu items!!

Food was good. Service was good. I really enjoyed their hard shell tacos. I also liked their Birria tacos. Good size menu. I did not care for their queso tho. That is the only thing preventing them from getting a 5 star review.

This restaurant took the place of Applebees in camillus. I was never a fan of Applebees so I was happy to see something else take over the spot. The new decor is very nice and I especially like the different photos on the walls. The booths are comfy and the service was very attentive. I went to lunch today with my friend and we ordered from the lunch menu. We both did the combo of 3 things. I had the crunchy taco, enchilada and burrito. You had a choice of protein of either beef, pork or chicken. I chose the beef for all 3. While we were waiting chips and salsa was provided. The lunches came out quickly, the flavor was okay but didn't blow me away. I found it rather bland. It was a good portion of food. I have to say that I have several other Mexican places in the Syracuse area that I like better.

It's not uncommon for a new restaurant to impress the first time, only to fall short on subsequent visits. Touché, however, proves to be a welcome exception. Their continued commitment to quality, creativity, and classic French influences remains evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Several days before our reservation, I received a courteous text from the charming and attentive hostess, Bridgette, requesting details about the members of my dining party, including names and dietary restrictions. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by name and seated at a table adorned with a personalized name card--an unnecessary but thoughtful and memorable gesture that set the tone for the evening. I selected the very reasonably priced three‑course prix fixe menu ($70), while the rest of my party opted for the Steak Frites. My starter, a colossal scallop, was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. While the nettle purée could have used a touch more vibrancy, it still complemented the bright yuzu dressing well. The main course--a perfectly cooked half duck breast accompanied by roasted celeriac purée and a currant‑cassis jus--was a standout. The deep berry notes paired beautifully with the richly rendered duck fat. Although I typically gravitate toward savory dishes, the dessert was an impressive finale: a Sablé Breton with blood orange cream, thyme Chantilly, thyme jam, and a rocher of coffee ice cream. The combination of sweet, salty, and herbaceous elements was wonderfully balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to try a few bites of the Steak Frites, which did not disappoint--nor did it for the other members of my party. Our meals were complemented by excellent cocktails from the well‑stocked bar. The bartender was knowledgeable, skilled, and engaging. The open‑concept kitchen is also a delight to observe, and I look forward to reserving a seat at the chef's table on my next visit. One of the ongoing challenges in the Syracuse dining scene, in my opinion, is a general lack of restraint. Touché distinguishes itself with its thoughtful menu design, technical precision, and appropriate portion sizes. We left feeling thoroughly attended to and perfectly satiated. I sincerely hope Touché continues its pursuit of excellence both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Syracuse needs restaurants of this caliber, and I eagerly anticipate their spring and summer menus.

I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.

We were promptly seated and ordered glasses of wine while perusing the menu, which is on the smaller side. That usually means everything on it is rather good, so we had high expectations. We started with the Mushroom Toast, Ember Roasted Carrots, and Beef Tartar. I'll start with the bad and finish with the good. The Ember Roasted Carrots were a complete miss. They were trying to go for a middle-eastern flavor, with each ingredient contrasting, while the carrot served as the centerpiece to flavor. I found this to be INCREDIBLY bland. The carrots were not salted enough during roasting and lacked enough char. They dish also needed more labneh than it was served with. It literally just tasted like carrots and yoghurt. Honestly, if I could only give one critique it would be to have used more salt, but this dish was a real disappointment. The Beef Tartar suffered from a similar issue. It was bland. Not enough salt was used. It unfortunately tastes like flat beef. I overheard the bartender talking to another couple and he told them they really want to highlight the ingredients. The idea is purity or something like that. And that's well and good, but you still need to season beef tartar. I don't think this is necessarily a poor execution of the dish(es) rather this is more in line with the philosophy of the kitchen, and that's fine. It's just not for me. And now for the good. The Mushroom Toast was great. It had all the things I had wanted. Fat, salt, umami, freshness. This was a good dish and I would get this again. As for the entrees, my husband and I ordered the Cappelletti and the NY Strip. The Cappelleti was the strongest dish of the night. The flavors were layered and intentional. This was a great dish and I1000% would get it again. My husband ordered the NY Strip along with bone marrow. It was cooked to perfection. Cooking it over a wood fire gave it a great char and almost Smokey flavor. It was very flavorful. The chimichurri made the steak feel lighter than it actually was. My husband loved it and I loved having a bite or two of everything together. This was a complete dish and I'd highly recommend it. The only knock I could give it is the bone marrow. There was a lack of volume in it which is probably due to being cooked over a wood fire. Parts of the bones were also over roasted. I'd skip this the next time and get the foie gras pate. Lastly, for desert we were disappointed that we could not try the rice pudding as they were out of it (we will try it the next time if available). We did however order the Flourless Chocolate Torte to share. It was made perfectly. It was rich and decadent but remained light. It was almost like a mousse, but not quite. We loved it. Overall, the had a great time. There were several highlights and I think they make up for the a couple of the earlier dishes. I'd like to see what else they have to offer when they change their menu.

For $50-$75 per person for one non-alcoholic drink, one shared appetizer, and one entree, I expected a little more. The room is very pretty, though they haven't managed to vent airflow away from the tables with a redirecting fin, I'd rather that than sweating on a summer's day. The drinks were great, if a bit overpriced at $10-$15 each for mocktails. The appetizer, Chicharrones De Calamar, was clearly previously frozen but overcooked calamari, no crispiness detected despite the rubberiness of being overcooked. My entree featured the fries my fellow reviewer called out, the puff-potato finest frozen, rather than fresh cut and rice that was so dry it was crunchy. The beef was not anything special and my dining companion went so far as to lament that we hadn't just dealt with the heat in their kitchen to make something instead. My companion had the cazuela and said it was fine but nothing particularly worth visiting for again. The hosting staff seemed wonderfully warm and welcoming. The wait staff were unaware of how to approach a table to place or remove dishes, what fork and knife placement might indicate that you are either continuing to dine or finished (or to ask, rather than assume a plate is ready to remove), and movement around the tables was generally awkward. I hope they're working on these skills as they all seem so lovely but service is lacking. We stopped in on a whim on a Wednesday night and while I don't regret trying somewhere new, I regret that it was Inka's.
