Absolutely delicious. Huge portions and insanely yummy. Try the Pambazo sandwich if it's on daily special.

I knew that the next time I came to visit Portland I was going to have Mama Chow's again. It's been almost six years since I tried Mama Chow's for the first time and there's always that anxiety of wondering if the food is as good as the memory was since so much time has passed. I can confirm that the food was just as good as the last time I had it. I arrived a little after 12pm and Jeff Chow helped us. He was so nice about explaining the items on the menu to my partner, saying happy new year to us, and making us feel welcoming because we were his first customers of the day. I ordered the chicken wings with garlic noodles and it didn't disappoint. So much flavor in the garlic noodles and the sauce that comes with it. The fried chicken was amazing as well with the right amount of flavor and crunch on the outside and tenderness on the inside. My hope is that I don't have to wait another six years to come back to Portland, but when I do I'll be visiting Mama Chow's Kitchen again.

Both were fantastic! It was very flavorful and well spiced, with the perfect amount of salt and aromatics. The chicken is extremely soft, and the noodles are fresh and properly chewy. The Thai iced tea was very sweet even for my taste, but I still enjoyed it and expect it would be more refreshing if the weather wasn't so cold as it is now. The wait time was maybe 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all, and the cashier was very cheerful and pleasant. The food cart is in the back of a fairly vacant lot, so there's not much to comment on when it comes to ambiance. Overall, it's an excellent choice for takeout that I recommend enthusiastically, and I hope I get to try more of their food next time I'm in the area. :-]

A warmed slice of quiche for each of us was perfect! We were there in mid-afternoon and they only had 2 flavors of quiche left, but that was fine for us and tried a slice of each. Yum! They also have other breakfast-y & dessert options including egg & biscuit sandwiches and waffles, and coffee beverages. And they have frozen quiches you can take & re-heat at home. It's a cute little cafe, and the lady working was very sweet & helpful.

Honestly, I think of this quiche often. For starters, crust was so buttery and flakey. I love a little roasted corn moment. The green chiles + pepper jack cheese create an underlying layer of heat. Perfect to balance out the sweetness. The quiche is substantial enough to share, though I admit, I could have demolished the whole thing. Catch them if you can because a personal quiche is the most perfect farmer's market treat.
