This is a tiny place that's a short walk from the huge airport Marriott conference hotel nearby. We went with a group of six. They organized a shared family style meal with four starters, four entrees, and two deserts.
They have tables on two small floors and rearrange them for groups if needed. In addition to our party of six upstairs there was another group of twelve that took up the rest of the ground floor. There were four more tables for four people each downstairs.
There's an English menu available. The food isn't going to appeal to extreme wine buffs and foodies or Michelin, but it's good home-style cooking. Not much for vegetarians. Best items were a seafood on rice dish, octopus salad, and grilled shrimp. Good almond cake and fruit salad for desert. Prices were beyond reasonable.
A good dose of local color with the WC signs, that I hear is a Portuguese tradition. See photos. read more
