Upon meeting Dr. Andari after a total thyroidectomy, we were so impressed by her demeanor and professionalism. She truly seemed to care and explained a treatment plan thoroughly. She assured us that the best way to reach her was via the Dignity Healthcare portal. We'll, it took over a week to get a response to a concern. It turned out she was out of office so that was a very good reason however, someone should have been responding in her absence. Then recently, we had a dire need for a prescription renewal. It. We had to resort to contacting another doctor to renew the thyroid medication as we were now completely out. It seems to be a lapse in commutation from the portal messages to the doctor and visa versa. We are greatly disappointed and pray this type of service does not happen to anyone else. read more

If you are looking for a doctor who is professional, caring, and so informative, making you feel that you and your reason for seeing her, matters...then look no further! Dr Ansari is the reason I switched to Dignity! Although, I have had to follow up with a call to her team a few times, I am convinced it is a processing, workflow issue that Dignity as well as my previous provider, needs to address, not De Ansari! If I had the power, I would make the "process" of referrals, documentation, follow up, etc. smoother via better training. Until then, I decided to be my own advocate in order to keep this wonderful doctor. I felt my first visit was very thorough And discussing my situation . Dr Ansari seemed very well versed . I had my second visit with her , and received a thorough checkup for my diabetes which I haven't had in a long time . My medicine was corrected and my blood sugar immediately went to near perfect . I have a tumor in my throat that can be seen in an ultrasound image. Seeing Dr Ansari was a complete waste of time and money. All she did was read what the ultrasound had printed on it and gave me a few lines of what I'd already read on parathyroid.com. Nothing else. It's established I have a tumor that is causing all sorts of damage to my body, but she wouldn't mark the next (required by the insurance company) CT scan as urgent. Her office still hasn't even faxed over a request for authorization to my insurance company (3 days later). The insurance company needs to approve the CT scan before I can go in for it. My primary care physician knows I have a tumor. It's established, but still a tumor that is wrecking havoc on my body "doesn't warrant being marked as urgent". I wouldn't advise anyone to see this doctor. Her receptionist is a rude little jerk as well. read more

I didn't have a choice in who I went too... ...but I'm glad it was Dr. Ansari! It started a little rocky. Before they call you for an appointment, they must start you a chart as a referral patient. Apparently they get tons of referrals, so this process gets bottle necked. My first call, no one had started a chart so I was SOL. My call the next day, proved a little different. No one had started my chart, but the lovely gal on the phone took it into her own hands and made my chart on our call. Then proceeded to make me an appointment for that week. I'm sure all of our ailments seem like emergencies to us individually. So, when the second employee assisted and pushed my chart through I was very grateful. Nothing feels worse than having something wrong and to not be able to be seen for it. Anywho, after that initial call, everything was amazing. Just remember to be your own advocate and persistent, but polite. My first appointment was for Dr. Ansari and her PA to see what was going on and confirm what the PCP thought was the issue. It was there that she assessed the situation and determine the next step. Her PA was really polite and had a great bedside manner, even when asking her tons of questions. Dr. Ansari, herself, is really awesome. Shes outgoing, well spoken, and is very open and clear about what is needed, possible outcomes, and remains informative. IT feels as if she genuinely cares about her patients and what is happening to them. A week later I went in for my procedure and it was a great time. Yup, you read that correctly. Dr. Ansari is super laid back, she had us laughing, but she easily went through the procedure without any issues and pain inflicted on me. This was an out-patient procedure, so it wasn't expected to be painful. She even let my Mom come in and record the procedure for my blog! She had us all laughing and relaxed the entire time. I wasn't expecting to have to see a specialist, but I thank my lucky starts it was Dr. Ansari. I think her office is quite busy, so just remember to be persistent with the office staff -- its' your health, advocate for yourself. It should also be noted that one of her assistants called me for a follow-up for some additional details and I haven't heard from her and I've followed up each day after that call. Reasons I liked coming here- pretty quick wait time Dr.Ansari was very efficient, went through results and was very factual and wouldn't "borrow trouble" with what could happen. She would wait until she had info and then go from there. Now the reasons why I will be cancelling my next appointment and find a new Dr. - I have only met Dr. Ansari twice. Once basically to tell her what was going on with my body, the second one to go over lab results. My third appointment was to go over the imaging results, and at that appointment I and was handed over to a different Dr. This didn't bother me. What DID bother me was that I called prior to the appointment to see if I could get the results over the phone, the front desk said they would speak to Dr.Ansari and call me back if they could share the results or if she wanted to do it face to face. So when I didn't receive a phone call I assumed she wanted to speak face to face... well the Dr. who came in assumed I had already found out the results and started talking about tumors(2) that I didn't know I had. Not the best way to start off an appointment, but ok. Then I was told that they had sent out a referral to a surgeon and that they couldn't go into detail about the tumors, but that he would give me all of the info at my consultation. This was back in December (it's now mid February). I waited after the holidays figuring maybe I would get an appointment with him after the busy holiday season, but still heard nothing by mid January. I called Dr. Ansaris' office only to find out who ever was supposed to handle my referral was no longer working there and my referral never happened. Finally today I had my long awaited appointment with the Dr. that I was told was a surgeon for both tumors that I have, and come to find out he didn't have a clue why I was there because Dr.Ansaris' office didn't send him my CT Scans, or lab results. Total waste of time. And to top it off he no longer even does surgeries for what I may need. I feel so forgotten and uncared for at this point, I am so disappointed that I still do not have answers. read more

These guys rarely call you back, answer their phones or the doctors or nurse practioners get back to you right away. You wait forever once they room you. What's worse is they are open from 8 to 4 and good luck getting through the phone system.  You will NOT get a call back even though you left numerous messages. Not sure why they have an answering service after hrs. Even INSIDE the office they do sloppy work. read more

I was a patient and was very happy with she and her staff when I first started seeing her. Her quality of care was excellent. However, it got to the point where she was so overbooked and busy (I assume she took on WAY too many patients), I was having symptoms again and was given an appointment 2 months away because it was the only one she had! She is still a very nice doctor, however, her staff are sub-par. Can't count on them to answer the phone, give you good direction, call you back, or even check their messages. Can't even speak to Dr. Ansari to make sure that I get the right blood tests done. The assistants left out tests and it took me weeks to get a hold of someone to get my results. She really needs to pay more attention to her patients and not take on so many patients so that her current ones can actually get an appointment. If it went back to how it was back then, it would benefit she and her patients much more. read more

I love this Doctor! My 83 year old mother is her patient. Dr Ansari has this amazing empathetic bed side manor. My mother is hard of hearing Dr Ansari makes an extra effort to ensure my mother hears and understands her. She explains in detail so everyone is on the same page she is very professional and knowledgeable and at the same time very warm and concerned for her patients. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! And, yes her staff are all friendly and helpful as well! read more

Was not happy with visit. Sent home ten to 12 years ago with small knot in throat. She felt it was best to leave it alone and not possibly nick thyroid. Her office made me an appt for a year later that I did not agree to having. No courtesy call as a reminder. I was out of state and missed this appt of course. They sent me bill than immediately sent to collections so I could not address with office which put a negative mark on my credit. So now I had it removed and come to learn it is my thyroid and they can not understand why it was neglected back when it was smaller and not the size of 3 golf balls. My brother who is a nurse also stated that heart surgeons have to be very careful so he found it odd that she did not feel confident she could not nick my thyroid. read more

Also, There were two separate occasions where my mail order pharmacy requested information from the office and they took forever to reply back! If you have a billing problem with this practice use the toll free number and sloppy billing done by front desk will be straightened out within a week. I hope for the future this Dr. can find stable staff of a more mature nature. I am not refering to large amounts of money and am always concerned with my credit. Medical collections can be hair triggered by admin. mistakes. When you offer to pay at the office and your entire financial profile is managed paperless, it is concerning to recieve an envelope requesting CC info or Checking Account info. These days everyone should be careful and have some patients for main billing to address concerns. The Doctor is better than this. read more

What am I missing? Most of Dr Ansari's reviews are good. I have a rare condition that she insured me that she could treat over 2 years ago. I cried, because I was overjoyed to finally find a Dr. who was familiar with my condition. I've never felt so "BlownOff" by any other Dr. In my entire life. No test, three months for an appt. Dr. Ansari herself is amazing. She runs an efficient practice because many people need to see her, so has many other staff helping before she actually gets to see you. From that point she spends just a few minutes with you but will answer your questions and explain thoroughly in a way you can understand. Phone staff is another story. Don't bother leaving a message because they won't call back. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes while she was checking on my referral and then asked how she could help me after being on hold for that long. After pulling an arm and a leg to schedule an appointment, it is pretty much flawless. read more

I was referred here in either 2018 or 2019 after I was diagnosed with PCOS and needed help with weightloss as it's been extremely hard to lose weight for me. I kid you not, all she did was tell me that I'm not doing enough on my own (which is a load of BS because I eat pretty well and I try to be active in any way as much as I can). And then she told me to go on the keto diet and said to look it up on the internet... No papers or further information on this diet that actually messed my body up. Here I am a few years later and my symptoms have worsened and there is a chance that I have Cushing's Disease that I might have actually had all this time instead of the PCOS (they have very similar symptoms and my OBGYN told me that PCOS was the closest diagnosis but she didn't even know what was going on with me). It just makes me so mad that all this could have been squashed at the time that I saw her but now I'm experiencing worse symptoms. Absolutely terrible. read more

Dr. Ansari is very professional, intelligent and thorough. I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in October 2014. Dr. Ansari is helping me understand and cope with my disease. She always knows how I'm feeling by looking at my blood work, she listens to me and always answers my questions. She is delightful and her bedside manner is wonderful. The "reception" team is not very friendly, called in to reschedule an appointment and was told that I was going to billed $25 for rescheduling an appointment? Okay whatever, then the second date was rescheduled again because Dr. Ansari had to go on a "last minute vacation" and had to reschedule that. I was a brand new patient who had never seen Dr. Ansari before so so far, I wasn't impressed. Then went into my initial consultation appointment and she had someone else in the office just observing, I didn't give consent to that whatsoever. Then 3 weeks later I receive a bill stating that I have two rescheduling fees? Definitely not someone I am going to go see again. I do not recommend this office to anyone who wants a compassionate and cooperative team because they had life happen. read more

This is the best doctor experience I've ever had. Her office is gorgeous, she is an amazing doctor, and the whole appointment is efficient and effective. My only complaint is she's popular so your appointment will be a ways away. I showed up to my 1:15 appointment at 1:05 and I was in and out by 1:30. She's really smart, genuinely interested in you as a patient and is eager to help you. She's just an all around great doctor and everything runs so smoothly and quickly. She is horrible doctor. She miss diagnosed my mom's and caused her to die of cancer on 6/27/16. She prescribed shots that caused and cancer and used my mother a an trial object even though she was aware of the causes of the shots. She was rude to my father and always demanding for money. I would not recommend her to anyone. Her staff is very rude. She is also very greedy for money she refused to see my mom when she was really sick because she waned all her money right away. My mom had to beg her to see her, even then she wouldn't badge and we had to borrow money to pay for her as a result she gave her the wrong medicine, which caused her to die. Such a unethical and greedy doctor. Be aware of such greedy doctors, who pretend to help people but use them as trail for their experiments because they don't know what they are doing. read more

My experience in the past was great. However being without insurance, it's difficult to be seen and have blood work done on a regular basis. The office has decided to stop prescribing my thyroid medication without any notice. They are withholding my prescription until I see the doctor - which is understandable... However, their first available appointment is 3 weeks away??? Games, games, games. So, I'm out of my thyroid medication and they have been made aware. Three calls to the office, they promised to give me a month's supply until I can see the doctor. Lies, lies, lies. I found out from my pharmacy today that they are refusing to refill it. What right does a doctor and the staff have to really screw with one's health? I won't go into what the effects of not having a thyroid but not having the medication for this condition can be life threatening. I'm thoroughly disappointed and disgusted with this practice. Who knows, maybe it's the lack of TSH and cloudiness amongst other symptoms messing with my judgement.... And it gets even better ... Shortly after I posted the original review, the office called and said that my prescription was approved and it's waiting for me at Walgreens. I even contemplated taking down my review. So, I hop in my car and get to the pharmacy and wait in line. Guess what! There IS no thyroid prescription waiting for me. Again, more lies! I am updating my review, because I was finally able to get seen, and had a few appointments since then. I am very happy with their office now. I have never seen Dr. Ansari but Sossy is very quick and helpful with getting me the latest and best in treatment. I haven't had any problems making appointments with them either. read more
