So many different things to consider and deal with on pricing. The pricing is insane!! Even the "sale price" on items is super high. The sofa I looked at had a sale price of $999 and a store closing price of $798. I swear I saw this sofa at another store for $599. So high prices, friendly staff, and a fake store closing sale. Sounds like this store is just trying to make some money from people who think they can get better price from a fake store closing.

The goal was to test out all different styles and features until we decided what we liked. All different price points. Our current couch is 15 years old and it's time to replace it. My son fell in love with a corduroy pull out sectional with a "Cuddler" corner at Furniture Shack, and no other ones were up to snuff. He would not stop talking about the potential movie nights we could have on this couch. We went back to Furniture Shack the next day to sit on the couch again to confirm that it "had enough sink, Mom" and that's when we met Brett. He was super low pressure and they have the most adorable Yorkies eveeerrrrr. No snakey salesman pitch, no trying to push you into a sale. We like to support local businesses today in the world of internet shopping and we appreciated not only the huge amount of furniture there we could physically touch and feel but even for pieces we ordered that weren't physically there they had other pieces we could see in a different color or style so we could still see the construction and quality of the furniture brand. Amanda could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable! She has an amazing ability to plot out and visualize how things will look in the space of the room and we really needed that! They have been super accommodating and even offered to send us a temporary console to put our TV on since the one we ordered will take a couple extra weeks to arrive from the rest of the things. I can't say enough good things about Elam's! They have only gotten better, if possible, over the last 10 years!

On this floor there are also lots of books, dvds and albums. Vintage clothing, some beau winter coats and jackets amongst the collection. If you, your man or child wants cowboy boots, there are dozens and dozens in every size! Wow! An amazing collection. A wall of wooden masks, beads you can scoop for $5 a bag, statues, knives, tools, paintings, toys, the list goes on and on! Downstairs is where they have the majority of furniture from near and far.
