For the most part, the gym seems clean and has wipes for one to clean after oneself. I don't know how frequent the turf area actually receives quality cleaning attention so one may opt to use a mat when on the turf area. The gym offers nutritional portions as well. I actually order a Vegan shake once which is so cool (temperature wise), filling, tasty, and sweet though seemingly contains no natural fruits. The establishment has a variety of seating areas. The massage chairs are quite decent. The men's locker room (including the sauna) is quite decent. The group training room offers a different space to vibe which I think is quite cool. I'm finding the Red Light Therapy to be quite interesting post-shower after a workout. I am observing apparent pleasant changes, with particular regard to a fairly recent (months ago) though quite minor allergic reaction postprandial from an eatery I'll likely not order from again by way of delivery. Even so, during a recent use, I notice the machine administering the Red Light Therapy, appears to have a lot of long strands of hair on its floor and in front of its door. I clean the floor of the machine with a few wet wipes which appear to pick up a lot of filth, then throw them away. A different material aside from wet wipes might be necessary to more easily clean the rubber area of the machine. If not already happening, I think periodically checking on the light bulbs will ensure the machine will have all lights functioning more often than not. I like the gym and make good use of it. The establishment accepts different forms of payment.

At another point, a second nurse came in and told me the doctor was running a little behind with other patients and asked if I had anywhere to be. Not sure it would have mattered if I did, but it was still nice of her to ask. Dr. Mendes spent about 5-10 minutes with me and ultimately prescribed me an MRI, which is the outcome I was expecting. Because of the subtlety of my injury, he explained he wasn't really able to diagnose me in the absence of those results. Overall, the staff was courteous, professional, and prompt. My only complaint is that Dr. Mendes acknowledged that his associate, Dr. Chase, was who I should have seen in the first place. Chase specializes in sports and I did specify with the secretary when I made my appointment that I was coming in for a sports-related injury. No Mendes's fault, but still kind of annoying.

Since I visited after the summer season ended, I had no problem finding a spot at 12pm. If you're going during the season, I would suggest coming much earlier if you want to get a good spot closer to the beach. During the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), beach badges are required from 9am-5pm on weekdays and 9am-5:30pm on weekends/holidays. It's $13 per person. Children ages 11 and under + active military and their dependents are free of charge. They don't accept credit/debit cards, so remember to bring CASH. The beach is beautiful - clear, blue water and clean, soft sand. The crowd is more mature and family-oriented. They do have a lot of rules (no alcohol/smoking/cannabis/canopies/tents/sound systems), but I don't mind. It's not rowdy here, so you'll have a peaceful experience. There are bathrooms, a playground area for children, and a boardwalk. The boardwalk is small, but charming. There are benches for you to sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean view. There aren't many restaurants, bars, games, or entertainment around. They have a snack/food pavilion, but I'd suggest driving a few miles away to Asbury Park or Long Branch for a better dining and night life scene. Seeeeee yaaaaaaaa at the shore!

This is what Nanuet Lake should have been like all along... no thanks whatsoever to my parents who thought this was some tough love version of Shangri La, albeit minus the all consuming bliss one often finds in paradise. In shared public spaces like this, especially in smaller gardens, it is important for any group, whether local or new to the community, to be mindful of the park's norms and not treat the small public garden like it's only for them. Many people visiting or living here may not be aware of how these spaces are typically used, so a little consideration goes a long way in keeping the park welcoming for everyone.

Down the little dirt trail by the stream near Watchung Ave., see if I could make it down the ditch under the bridge, then back up near the duck pond to look at the birds. Over to the playground, down the tall metal slide (burning in the hot sun), on and under the wooden playground (splinters and the occasional scary bee), and riding the swings, both pony-themed and regular. Slow forward to 2025. Brookdale still has the same paved paths. The old dirt trail gradually became a bunch of bumps for dirt bikes instead of my regular bike. The duck pond was filled in years ago but is now a wetlands area. The playground has been modernized a couple of times and is now modern, safe plastic. Still pony-themed swings. The old gravel track is now modern plastic for running or similar sports - though there was something special about sliding my bike around the turns on that gravel track. You just can't ride on a running track. There's an annual softball tournament there we still play, and the fields really haven't changed, though I've heard it's been getting tougher to get things reserved properly. So it's still a wonderful park, but without the ducks and with the complications to holding in park events, the fifth star has gone away with my childhood. That's OK. It will always be 5 stars in my heart.

I am a runner who sustained an injury in the calf/achilles area. I came to Pursue PT after a few…read morevisits with a local PT in my town. Long story short, I was misdiagnosed with Achilles tendonitis, which at the time, I felt just couldn't be right. Brandon, my PT at Pursue, almost immediately, and super impressively, was able to determine it was a nerve issue that originated from my hip/back. The weeks went by and I improved immensely. I began PT worried about my ability to return to running at 100% in time for a marathon I plan to seriously train for in the fall and I now leave PT feeling even better than 100%. All thanks to Brandon, who was very personable and great to work with, along with the rest of the Pursue PT staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone recovering from an injury, and especially for recreational athletes trying to return to their passion/hobby sport pain-free.

After driving passed this place over and over, I decided to make an appointment and give it a try. I had an initial consultation with Drs. Locatelli and Tyminski. They were very friendly and thorough with their exam and subsequently sent me for an MRI. Confirming the bulging disks in my neck, they started therapy right away. This included manual therapy, exercises and their decompression machine. It took a while as it was a chronic condition, however, I'm happy to report I haven't felt this good in years! The PT I predominantly worked with was Beth Gaerlan. She is knowledgeable, motivating, professional and a pleasure to work with. I really owe a lot of my recovery to her. The entire staff at Total Health fit Beth's description as well, what a wonderful group of professionals! Truth be told, I really didn't want to go to PT as I was skeptical. After working with the staff, I wanted to continue even when they said I didn't need to go. Total Health gave me my life back and for that, I'll be forever grateful. I have…read moreMedicare and I was never told of an out-of-pocket expense and I had been to the facility many times I ended up leaving the state for emergency hip replacement surgery so I was never checking my physical mail at my home. I received an email last week saying I had a balance of $173 and I was being sent to collections. I answered the email immediately and called them and said that I was out of state that I could send $50 ASAP and then upon returning to I would pay the balance in full. Nobody answered my email and just this morning I received a second email saying I was being sent to collections. When I did call the office, they told me they would not take anything less than $100 and I explained to them that I was out of state and I was not denying the debt. I just was unaware of it and I was still recovering from surgery. Bottom line is this facility with the billing department is extremely rude and unprofessional, and I have no issues with the acupuncturist she was great, but I would stay away from this place because if you run into a billing problem, there is no communication and they are not willing to be flexible at all. If you're looking for Acupuncture, I community Morristown. She is wonderful and she works with you. I tried leaving a review under their website and I was unable to so I'll keep trying to do that and this is the best area I can do a complaint. I just feel bad for the older generation that might run into this billing issue and not be aware of it on a fixed income.

Greg was able to assess me on sight- he could tell that I had an imbalance between my right and left sides and he was able to release a lot of the tension that had built up in my neck and shoulders. He is familiar with a special kind of stretching technique that really worked when I was really in pain. Greg is a very nice man, totally professional and very very good at relieving pain. I really owe this man for getting me on the path to wellness. I had reached out on facebook for a massage therapist and I got Greg's information from one of my friends. She did me a solid favor by referring me to Greg. If you have a persistent knot in your shoulder, or some other kind of chronic pain issue I totally recommend him. I am guessing that he does a great massage for relaxation, but I never experienced that. He is very effective at helping people deduce the source of their pain and help them learn how to do things that would relieve their symptoms on their own, He's very in demand- but it is worth it to wait for his availability. He's also worth the money. I had to budget for the treatments in the end but it was very helpful and you can't put a price on relieving pain. I have had him come to my house.
