You know when you sleep badly and wake up having to move your whole neck to turn, like a robot? Yeah, that was me. I can now move my shoulders and I am feeling overall so much better and sleeping better. The holidays have been stressful and at times I could not make it in, but the office staff worked their magic and found a way to fit me in so I could stay on track. The office lay out is an open office concept which I've never seen before at a chiropractor's office, but I like it. It has a good vibe, everyone is easy going and has a smile on their face. The moment I knew I was at the right place was when I saw one of the Doctors adjusting a baby! Yes, a baby! And this baby was laughing, not even scared or worried. Completely trusting. I've never seen anything like it. And I guess that's the neat thing of the open office concept you get to see the magic happen. I'll def keep coming back!

Dr. V is an incredible functional medicine doctor who helped me solve a TON of my health issues…read more That includes persistent IBS, thyroid regulation, and anxiety. I STRONGLY recommend her to anyone looking to get a handle on the root cause of your issues, and find resolution in ALL areas. I've been dealing with serious gut issues most of my life and saw that Dr. V had experience in this area. I found myself cascading towards a health crisis before I came in. Within a short amount of time we were able to reverse these symptoms, allowing me to feel normal again. Along the way, we also addressed my severe anxiety and thyroid regulation. My health picture has dramatically improved since I saw her. In the office, she starts by getting a full history and does an exam, and also gives a treatment plan on where you can expect to go. It did require me to make some lifestyle changes which were challenging at first, but totally worth it. I've been seeing her a few years and can't recommend her enough. If you are looking for a great functional medicine doctor, give her a call.

Really horrible experience here…read more I have stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread to my lungs, and I made an appointment here based on the reviews of their practitioners, who I heard were great. I hit my out of pocket max for insurance, and I have 20 more acupuncture sessions fully covered by insurance for the rest of the year. They are in network and covered. They sent over written intake information, none of which said that there would be extra fees. However when I went in, they wanted to put my credit card on file and to charge me an extra $80 "office fee" to do an initial intake. I said look, I've got a ton of extra expenses as a parent with stage 4 cancer. I even had my 10 year old sitting with me patiently waiting. I don't expect preferential treatment; i said look we can book 20 sessions now that you can bill to my insurance and you can waive the fee, or I can leave. They ended up telling me that the insurance company wouldnt allow them to waive the fees. That's a hot lie right there. And people need to be aware that this place is lying to cancer patients and trying to bill extra fees that aren't included. That's not healthcare, that's an exploitative business practice

They all wear masks & are tested often, which put me at ease, as I have been sheltering in place since March. Prior to seeing Dr. Noelle, I pulled muscles in my neck & back and experienced pain so intense, it caused headaches with blurred vision. I couldn't sleep for nearly a week. My neck & shoulder were frozen. I am new to Illinois. For 2 days, I called around to see who was accepting new patients & take my lame, united healthcare insurance. Dr. Noelle was able to see me the day I called, which I'll forever appreciate, especially considering I was nearly in tears due to my injury & couldn't work or function normally. She was able to treat the muscle spasms & I had some immediate relief. The day after my first visit, I woke up refreshed & regained 70% movement in neck & shoulder. Each day following, I noticed significant relief and improvement. I'm truly grateful to her & for the staff at York Chiropractic Clinic.

I thought '1 more try', so I went to see Dr Hover. He took his time taking a thorough history of my issues and created a plan that worked for me. I went from being in daily pain to nearly pain-free. Many days, I do not have any pain. This has improved my quality of life immensely. The office was also understanding with my insurance taking so long to process claims, which is something that is always a challenge with insurance companies. I definitely recommend seeing Dr Hover, especially if you have had problems with other chiropractors.

If you have United Healthcare, do not go here. Hover Chiropractic was first on the list of…read morerecommended care in my area, and it wasn't until after the treatment was completed that I found out Josh personally still has a contract with United Healthcare, but the office he works through (WholeHealth Chicago) does not. After a whopping $125 adjustment + "diagnosis," (conjecture) I found they weren't going to be able to run this charge through my health insurance. After having to pay out of pocket, I called the insurance company who they said they still had an active contract with Josh. I started going back and forth over email where they explained that there was no possible way to run the payment through Josh's contract, and so kindly recommended that I involve a third party service that, "could, potentially, cover out of network claims. But, they also might not." In frustration I said sarcastically, "it's nice to know your company cares," and left it at that. Shortly after, I received a call from Josh who said he saw the emails and offered me a free adjustment. As kind as that was, I don't know what happened in that free adjustment, but I ended up feeling so much worse for the next few days. I'm a bit more familiar with the healing process of back pain by now, and it's not beyond me that sometimes you can be in pain from the adjustment for a few days after, but this felt different. He offered to put me on a regiment of, "$60 per visit, probably a couple times a week? That's when we can really start the actual healing process, does that work for you? Okay good, that is as low as I could possibly make it." Instead, I went to a different chiropractor out of pocket, for a fraction of the price I previously paid, and got immediate/lasting results. There's something to be said about the care I received having an impact of the efficacy of the next chiropractor's work, but in my experience I've often left adjustments feeling generally better than before I came in. Following the two adjustments I received over the span of a week and a half, I can't say I ever really got that feeling. Overall, I would not recommend the treatment I received, and especially not for the price at which I received it.
