I had a negative experience with Dr Manney and staff. Without any explanation, he did a "minor manipulation" (how he described it) on my neck, making it crack it multiple times. (My neck has never cracked before!) This caused extreme pain. He then led me to a "massage table" with heated neck area and a motorized back roller. I found this very uncomfortable, as the roller pushed hard on my spine... and it hurt my back. Without a word to me, the Dr had disappeared into a treatment room and I was left by myself. I was in pain (both neck and back), so I got off the machine and rested. After about 15 minutes with no one checking on me, I just left. The staff at the front desk didn't say anything to me, or even appear to notice I was leaving. I won't be returning. read more

I won't go back. I found the treatment from Dr Manney to be rough and painful. I asked specifically for him to be gentle and smooth, and not to "crack" any joints. He ignored my request... jerked my head and neck awkwardly, and then cracked my back in 3 places. When I cried out in pain, he said "that can't be painful". I left his office in pain. I received 2nd degree burns from the stim machine and the chiropractor blamed it on "wires that short-circuited." He tried to play it down and didn't even document the incident. I have a pretty hideous scar now! BTW, both a paramedic and MD confirmed it was a 2nd degree burn. When I told them how I got it (from a chiro) they both rolled their eyes in disgust! I was also grossly misdiagnosed. The chiropractor ordered an MRI and when the results came in, he referred me to a orthopaedic surgeon. When I met with the surgeon he said I should have never gotten an MRI (as it was useless) and ordered me to go to a REAL physical therapy clinic. The chiro also gave no warning that he would be going on vacation and I only found when the receptionist was the one who administered the stim one day and informed me that the chiropractor went to go fishing out of state. She said I would have the stim for 20 mins to "make up" for not getting therapy/adjusted that day. Mind you, I was just in 24 hours prior and the chiro never mentioned not being in the next day. I used to have great faith in chiropractors, but this one really ruined it for me! read more

IRC Chiropractic is a fantastic practice - I went to Dr Manney to get treated for injuries from an auto accident, but they have become my go-to spot for chiro, physical therapy, and massage. Dr Manney has a great understanding of body movement and it shows in his understanding of my problems. Other chiropractors have had issues adjusting me, but Dr Manney does it with ease and comfort (on my part!). Everyone at the office is very friendly.
