I'd give this doctor more stars if I could. Dr. Vlasov helped me restore my health and get my life back. For years, I have struggled with low back pain, ADHD, anxiety, mood swings and periodic bouts with acne. Dr. V literally helped me eliminate or control ALL of these problems. The treatment has been so good it is hard to describe. The biggest issue that I thought would dog me the rest of my life was attention deficit disorder. I tried managing it with medication, but the meds came with tons of side effects, including a surreal, "distant" groggy feeling. So, I periodically tried getting off medication, but it was extremely difficult. At work, I remember sitting in a meeting feeling like it was torturous to try and sit still in my chair. I spent almost every minute trying not to leave the room because I was fidgety. So, with or without medication, this was a terrible thing to struggle with and I figured I would have to deal with it the rest of my life. Then I was treated by Dr. V. After my first treatment, I felt more relaxed than I had ever felt in my whole life. It was like the calmness of being on the meds, except way better-- all natural and with no side effects. I followed Dr. V's dietary advice and kept receiving treatment. Amazingly, the ADHD symptoms are completely gone and have been for a few years (when I started treatment). I take no medication and have no need for it. I feel better than I ever have in my entire life. Additionally, other symptoms, like anxiety, have been drastically improved as well. I feel more empowered and in control of my life, not like a victim of health circumstances. Recently I was thinking about all of the positive personal milestones that I've achieved over the past few years. Most of them can be attributed to this care. Here's what I mean: when you have a good base of health, you're able to invest better in other areas of your life. You can be more effective and productive at work, you can be more patient with family members, more invested in relationships, and just a better overall person. Because my health is good, it has stabilized and improved all other areas of my life. It has been THAT transformative. The impact of this treatment on my life has been priceless. Anyway, I have received this treatment for a few years now and knew I was overdue to tell my story. Dr. V is fun, educational and inspiring. Dr. V is an incredible functional medicine doctor who helped me solve a TON of my health issues. That includes persistent IBS, thyroid regulation, and anxiety. I STRONGLY recommend her to anyone looking to get a handle on the root cause of your issues, and find resolution in ALL areas. I've been dealing with serious gut issues most of my life and saw that Dr. V had experience in this area. I found myself cascading towards a health crisis before I came in. Within a short amount of time we were able to reverse these symptoms, allowing me to feel normal again. Along the way, we also addressed my severe anxiety and thyroid regulation. My health picture has dramatically improved since I saw her. In the office, she starts by getting a full history and does an exam, and also gives a treatment plan on where you can expect to go. I was looking for a good Chiropractor in the Elmhurst area and found this office based on my searches. I made the appointment, visited and had a session with Veronika. I am not usually skeptical of anyone claiming to be a Dr. but the session started strangely with her putting me in weird poses. She claimed that my muscles looked weak and my alignment off and made me do strange poses. After she was done, she did another analysis again and asked me to raise my leg and immediatly said.. See now it's better. I didn't feel nor notice a difference. I was using the same strength as before; Then she went to my other leg and me figuring out what she was going to say; I purposely lifted it weaker and sure enough she repeated the phrase that it was better even though I purposely used much less force. This immediately raised red flags as she had not done anything; She then started to ask if I had problems and tried to convince me that I had some deficiency and proceeded to bill my insurance card for $250 of some pills that I didn't ask for nor needed. I'm writing this review in hopes that anyone that thinks about seeing this person knows that her entire business is a total sham and scam. She will use a bunch of decorated words to try to sound intelligent and as if she knows what she's talking about and it's all a placebo and mumbo jumbo. I never expected to bump into these real life scammers pretending to be Dr's but here we are. You've been warned. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. V enough. I have had numerous symptoms ranging from heart palpitations, breast pain, cycle cramping/spotting, anxiety, pulsatile tinnitus and multiple digestive issues. In just a little over two months these symptoms, some of which I've been experiencing for about a year, have either improved and/or subsided completely. I could not be more thankful to feel like I'm finally getting my health and life back. What's even more impressive about her is her ability to really listen and hold space for her patients as well as being available via text. Dr. Vlasov treated me for the past few months for a variety of symptoms including overall fatigue, difficulty sleeping, sinus headaches, and chronic constipation stemming from my crohn's disease. I would highly recommend Dr. V to everyone and anyone. She is a terrific doctor and she has helped me so much just in the last two months of being her patient. I started seeing Dr. V because of my horrible menstrual cycles. During my menstrual cycles I would get terrible cramps, I would throw up and pass out and I would have to take more than enough ibuprofens just to be able to get out of bed. Within the past two years I have been getting cysts on my ovaries that have been incredibly painful. After going to my OB/GYN she just automatically prescribed me birth-control pills.
