They were not. Never had an issue with those gages. Now they want to lie to cover their asses. Trying to say we told them the gages weren't working when we picked the car up but their shop was closed when we picked the car up so clearly that's a lie. It was a straight lie because we had no clue they weren't working till we picked up the car after the shop was closed. So we never even spoke to anyone when we picked the car up. as it was 7 at night when we picked it up. The only thing that was wrong was it was over heating. But when this was brought to their attention the man was very rude and argumentive. Then lied over and over again. We will never use this shop again as they are very unprofessional. If tyour car is broke. You are better off going somewhere else. As they are nothing but a joke of a shop. They break things on purpose on your car so you keep coming back. Been going there ever since! Jerry runs a tight ship! I love these guys!! They always take care of me. Very honest about any repairs. Never any bad vibes. They fix what's broken. No strange charges. No high pressure upselling or scare tactics. They are knowledgeable and if they can save you some money, they often do! But the work is still top notch in my experience. Best shop in town! I love my car and sometimes ask them to replace stuff that might go soon. They always say "we'll take a look!" and most of the time they come back and tell me "we can do it if you want, but the part looks in great shape, it's simply not needed". I trust them, and they don't let me down. Best shop in town. Good people! If you're new to town and need a place to go, I'd highly recommend them. They will likely be your new mechanic for life.

I was just passing through Rochester when I started hearing some noise coming from one of my rear…read morewheels. Luckily, I was recommended to Anwar at Rochester Auto Service, and I'm very glad I found him. Anwar quickly diagnosed the issue and confirmed that I had a bad rear wheel bearing. While inspecting the vehicle, he also found that my brakes were significantly worn, with the rotors showing a lot of rust and pitting. He gave me a couple options and took the time to show me images of the brakes and their condition, which helped me understand exactly what he was seeing and why he recommended the service. I really appreciated that he put safety first rather than just doing the minimum repair. The work was done quickly and professionally, which was especially important since I was only passing through town. Everything has been working great since the repair. He also went above and beyond in ways I really appreciated, taking care of a couple additional things for me while I was there. What really impressed me was the follow up. Anwar called afterward to make sure everything was going well with the new brakes and reminded me to have the lug nuts checked for proper torque after driving about 100 miles. That kind of follow up and attention to detail is something you don't always get from an auto shop. I highly recommend Rochester Auto Service and Anwar. He was knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and genuinely seemed to care about doing the job right and making sure I was safe on the road. Great experience and value overall!
