Dustin Ainsworth answered my first call, presented a solution and worked with us to get my husband and me in for a refresher class and dive in a timely fashion. Morgan was our Divemaster and she was INCREDIBLY patient, reassuring, fun and professional. Exactly what I needed! She is excellent! I can't say enough about how prompt, professional and perfect the entire team at Texas Scuba at Blue Lagoon was to work with! Aiar did a wonderful job explaining options in fixing part that malfunctioned, and also pointed out the really old aging part of octopus, that would need to be replaced very soon. The skills are practiced on land and in the water they are both very thorough and make sure you are comfortable before moving on with the training. They will answer questions about gear and recommend the best fit for you. However I never felt pressured to buy any gear since the gear is included with the training. I asked about places to dive with while travelling to Mexico and honduras and got some excellent recommendations. These guys are laid back and i would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get certified.
