I would highly recommend CPR & More if you need a CPR certification. I'm already thinking that I…read morewill be back here in two years for a recertification. I need to take an in person class for my job, and the blended CPR/First Aid class was the perfect option in these COVID times. The bulk of the learning is done online. The online portion is completed at your own pace before the start of the class. It doesn't take much time, maybe 2-3 hours if you really power through it. It consists of videos and "missions" that you need to complete. If you have taken CPR before, it is great review. The in person class covers the hands on stuff that can't be done online. For instance: practicing chest compressions, Heimlich maneuver , bandaging, and AED use. The class takes about 1.5 - 2 hours depending on the size of your class. Gabby was an awesome instructor who explained everything well. She kept the class engaged by asking us questions the entire time, and really made sure we understood everything before we finished the course. The certification card was sent out via email within a couple hours of finishing. Gabby also did a great job keeping everything safe with respect to COVID. Class sizes are limited. Chairs were six feet apart. She wore a mask the entire time she taught. The door was kept open the entire time for proper airflow. We each used our own mannequins, and didn't share any materials with others in the class. I've taken CPR classes every 1-2 years since 2007. Some classes covered way too much information (or the instructor would go off topic), and some classes were too "chill" with not enough teaching. This class at CPR and more was very professional, very informative, and very efficient!

Gabby made the class go by quickly. She's upbeat, has a sense of humor and explains concepts…read moreclearly and concisely. We had about 12 people in our class, most of them taking the class as a requirement for their job (like me, too). We powered through all of the modules without breaks (we all agreed on this, of course) and were done an hour earlier! It will take you half a day to complete the course. You will do exercises (wrapping a bandage, CPR, AED operation and more tasks) but there is no written test for certification, just participation. My colleague and I walked out feeling more confident and equipped to handle situations that could arise at work (we deal with the public when we are open, so it is a requirement on our employer to take the class). I will sign up again when I have to re-certify in two years with this company.
