My friends got some of their cheeses and said they were delicious! My only downside was the price points. I understand why they would be a little higher, but some of the prices just made things way too inaccessible for my budget. Overall, definitely worth the stop, especially if you like local products!

They told me they could make them fresh for me. When they asked if I was driving or flying back home, I mentioned I was flying. They went out of their way to vacuum seal the cheese curds so they would travel better. They always have the best cheese, and their customer service is top notch. I really appreciated them taking the extra time to do that for me.

There is a medium-sized cheese plant -- Great Lakes Cheese -- just down the street. They used to have a factory store where you could buy direct, but now Freeway Grocery sells it instead. The price is a steal. The 4X Cheddar (the sharpest version they make) goes under the name "Adams Reserve" when sold elsewhere. I've seen little chunks of it for sale in gourmet stores in Boston and NYC for more money than what at Freeway gets you a big brick of no-nonsense, wrapped-in-plastic-wrap, tangy, crumbly deliciousness. Milder versions (3X, 2X, 1X, medium, mild) available too. If you like good cheese, fresh curds, and/or local products, this spot is a great, easy stop off the highway.

This humble little shop offers a small merchandise section, a wide variety of fresh cheeses and other dairy products, some pantry goods and a divine section of handmade chocolates. Samples of various cheeses to include curd cheese is available for sampling. A bacon horseradish cheese was featured and WOW, delish! An apple pie sharp cheese was also available for tasting. It was unique in flavor, but not my cup of tea. Due to the fact we will be on the go for many hours today and without refrigeration, we purchased a variety of candies rather than cheeses. I purchased the chocolate covered kettle chips and shared with the family. A couple of these chips go a LONG way and the pairing of sweet and salty is always a winning combination. The chips are coated with a generous amount of chocolate. The cashier was very cheerful and pleasant. The checkout process was slightly longer due to the credit card machine being out of order. Finally, there is a really cute cow in a field next door that makes for a great photo opp! I highly recommend checking this place out if you find yourself in town and the cheese is reasonably priced.

Great deal on six kinds of cheeses; she also included sweets, a zucchini spread, and breadsticks too! See picture for the package. The only thing I'd change is their pick-up system; you have to email Patricia to make an appointment, and then update her every time your availability changes. It'd be easier for customers (and less hassle for Patricia) if it were an online booking system. However, these cheeses are wonderful-- I've never seen any of these brands before. Bravo on a fun assortment!
