Some people might not like to give 5 star reviews because it could mean more competition the more…read morepeople who find out about the place but when its deserved its deserved. I went into CGJ on March 10 2026 looking for silver coins and bullion. they had 2 trays with a lot of silver. Included in those trays were several Maples, a Britannia and a Krugerrand along with several other sovereign coins. There were many buffalo rounds and I even found 2 Engelhard prospector rounds. There was a lot of fractional including 1/2 oz, grams and constitutional silver. As far as selection goes I have seen more in other stores and I have seen less. They sell what they buy so I can't say that the selection will always be like this but I was very happy with the 4 items I bought and I found several more I could have bought. Now for the best part. I paid less than a buck over spot for 2 Perth mint coins and 2 prospector rounds. I asked Gia, who was awesome by the way, for confirmation and she said that was pretty much their standard pricing for generics. I think she said ASEs were 3 or 4 bucks more, still cheap compared most places. Now one might expect with prices that low the price they paid would be pretty low but it was very reasonable. I can't recall exactly because she quoted for maples, ASEs and generics but given the prices I have seen online and at other stores I would have been very happy selling to them at their prices. Further shoutout to Gia, she was wonderful to talk to. Some shop owners are grumpy old curmudgeons who just want to take your money but Gia was friendly, very informative and willing to talk (I'm a talker if you can't tell from this review) I'll probably head back today just to see what they might have.

Informative , efficient and professional. I would recommend her to anyone that is wanting to…read moreinsurance their valuable jewelry.

    Lane Art Management

My house is finally furnished (whoo hoo!), but many of the walls are empty. When I reached out to…read moremy trusty interior designer, EEB Interiors*, for help she suggested I work with an art manager, Gregg Lane in particular, to find more gallery quality artwork rather than stocked sources. You may be wondering what an art manager does. I did! Gregg Lane works with you to determine the type of artwork that will work in your house. They even bring multiple options to your home so you can actually view and live with them for a few days. Amazing! I immediately took a liking to Lisa Gregg and Kate Lane. They came over to see my house and I loved their ideas of where they could put some of our current artwork (of course all in places I hadn't thought of). I asked them to start by looking for a painting for our living room. I gave them my budget, which I'm guessing is less than most of their clients, but they seem happy working at varying budgets. They also mentioned to me they like the challenge of finding "undiscovered" artists (aka: more affordable :)). After getting a feeling for the type of artwork my husband and I liked they sent along (first via email) a bunch of options for the living room. My husband and I picked our favorite...and Lisa showed up a few days later with an installer by the name of James and the painting. For a few days my house was basically an art gallery because she also brought along a few other paintings that she wanted me to see in the space as well. I'm so glad she did because I ended up going with a different painting after living with a few of them for a few days. The painting is absolutely perfect and completes our living room. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to find such a perfect piece if we had gone art shopping on our own & it sure would have taken a lot longer. I think it's going to take several years to fill the walls of our house so I hope Lisa and Kate liked working with me as much as I enjoyed working with them! * http://www.yelp.com/biz/eeb-interiors-chicago
