What can you say but thanks for such prompt, excellent service at a fair price! THANKS Air…read moreChandler!!! Our AC compressor stopped working late Sunday afternoon, on a high 90's highly humid day. My call was returned promptly with a promise of a morning service call. Mr, Chandler was on the problem by 09:30 and replaced the failed part quickly, then cleaned the compressor unit so it will work at peak efficiency. All this with a pleasant, friendly demeanor, at a fair price. Thank again Mr, Chandler for it all. If you need AC service in the Tyler area I cannot recommend him highly enough! Follow up: After a cool night and most of the following day all was well, however around 4:30 in the afternoon I notice the house warming and immediately went to check the compressor. Dead! I turned the breaker off (always do that) and called the Chandlers once more. Within a few minutes I was called back and within the hour they were back in my yard with the cover off the AC unit. Burned out fan motor, frozen, would not turn. Mr. Chandler told me that he had installed two such motors this day and would have to go back to his shop for another and that it might take an hour or more. Imagine my surprise when he showed up again thirty minutes later with a new motor and within the hour it was installed and the system was pumping out cold air once again. As before the price was more than fair and the service unbelievably fast, friendly and courteous. I am still amazed that not only did both of these issues arise back to back, but the service was quick, efficient and fairly priced. I know a bit about AC and know that when the temperatures are hitting 100, the instances of failures increase as does the demand for service. Obviously some things fell in place for this to happen so quickly and smoothly, the temp in the house never got above 77. Pleased? Well that would be an understatement. Thanks again Air Chandler, you are without question, THE BEST!

Got a new system installed and mine is in the attic. They don't connect the condensation line and…read morethe water stained my ceiling, inside the cabinets and drips down one wall. It to 5 phone calls to get someone to repair the damage, and all he did was get a can of spray paint and spray over it. It was back stained in a month. The we had a home inspection to sell and the inspection said it was not draining properly. The attic was getting wet the unit was not level and the furnace vent was crimped and could cause a carbon monoxide issue. Husband called they were to come the next day. I call at 5:30 next day to ask when they were coming. He told me the issues were a problem with the house not their work Inspectors were asshole and don't know anything. He kept screaming at me I said 2x we need to end this conversation but he kept yelling. I hung up. 10 minutes later he called back with a blocked number and screams for about 4 more minutes so I hung up. He called a AGAIN and left a very hateful voice mail. I will pay someone new to fix the issues they caused.

We had Faithco give estimates on preparing a house to sell…read more There were some elements of their estimate that were reasonable here are the parts that were not. A toilet seat wobbled a small amount. The Faithco plumber said it would be $275-$1000 to fix it. I took a look at it and it took me 15 seconds to tighten the nuts at the base of the toilet. The drip tray of an air conditioner in the attic had been collecting water and draining through a pipe for years, which is not ideal! The drain took a path that zig-zagged up and down a bit. They proposed raising the unit to be suspended from the rafters and replacing the pan. I asked why not just replace the pipe, taking a straighter path and he said that the AC unit sitting on top of styrofoam supports was putting at risk of falling. His quote was $2800 to raise the unit. And he wouldn't offer other options even after I questioned each part. I asked another company and they suggested changing the pan for $1500 and fixing the drain for $500. We went with just fixing the drain for $500. We wanted a quote on replacing a 20+ year old AC system. Faithco couldn't find the model number of the unit on the equipment outside but found a 3 ton furnace in the attic so they quoted us (summer of 2025) $13,800 for a SEER 15.2 3 ton unit and $16,800 for a SEER 16.2 unit. Another contractor found the nameplate and showed it to me (a little hard to find but not really, right on the compressor) and saw it was a 2 ton unit (you can tell it's a 2 ton because the model number ends in "24"). The other contractor subsequently quoted us $10,500 for a 2 ton system and $12,800 for a 3 ton system. The other contractor also pointed out that since the house has a 2 ton unit for the bedrooms and a 4 ton unit for the main living space, high SEER is less important, the unit would mostly be used in the evenings, not all day. I had a follow-up conversation with the Faithco HVAC tech and he doubled-down on believing it was a 3 ton unit even though I told him I saw the model number ending in "24". He said, and I recall it exactly because it was so odd, "In this area, we make sure our our compressors match our furnaces." I bit my tongue but wanted to say, "I agree, but the nameplate I'm looking at still ends in "24"". Faithco recommended replacing 3 AC float switches for $225 apiece. Maybe it was me but I couldn't figure out why we needed them. I don't think they tested the existing units but I'm not sure. Soooo, we went with Evans Air instead.
