I had the worst medical experience of my life at this office with Dr Wong. It was several months…read moreago, and it was completely traumatizing. I am not one to write a bad review, but I chose this office based off Yelp reviews, so I would hate for someone else to have an experience like I did. I had to have my big toenail removed, which was the most painful procedure I've ever been through (and I've birthed three babies). She gave me maximum numbing injections, so I'm not sure what the problem was there. I cried the entire time. My biggest issue was her communication style. It's hard to explain her style of communication and how off-putting it was in a Yelp review, but I've never experienced another doctor like this. I sobbed throughout the procedure and couldn't stop crying afterwards. While giving me post-procedure care instructions, I asked if she was going to print them out for me, which she said "I guess so" (she didn't). I took notes on my phone instead while crying. I asked when I could wear normal shoes again, and her response (while I was still very upset), was that "people go play soccer right after getting toenails removed" (obviously trying to imply that I was overreacting). I have to get my toe checked again because it doesn't seem to be healing correctly, but I will certainly not be going back to this office. I do want to say though that the front office ladies were very nice, and Dr. Marino seemed nice as well (saw him in passing).

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Avoid Clement Podiatry and especially Dr. Leila…read moreOstovar-Kermani at all costs. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and people deserve to know what kind of unprofessionalism and mistreatment happens here. 1. Horrible customer service. Dr. Leila is the only person answering phones, performing procedures, and handling payments--which clearly doesn't work. She rarely answers calls, and when I (fluent in English) tried to help my mom (fluent in Spanish) schedule appointments for her ingrown toenails, Dr. Leila told me my mom should call herself because she "can't be calling back and forth." Maybe if she weren't too cheap to hire a front desk assistant, this wouldn't be an issue. 2. Discrimination. She assumed my mother didn't have proper insurance or couldn't afford the $300-per-toe procedure, despite zero indication of that. The bias was crystal clear. 3. Negligence during treatment. After my mother paid nearly $650, she told the doctor she was feeling dizzy and close to passing out mid-procedure. Dr. Leila dismissed it entirely, blamed her for "looking at the procedure," and offered no care or comfort. This is basic patient care--and it was completely ignored. 4. Botched procedure and refusal to take responsibility. We were told the ingrown wouldn't return for 9 months. ONE month later, my mother was in pain again. After begging to be seen, it turned out Dr. Leila never fully removed the ingrown toenail. Instead of owning the mistake, she blamed my mom for not choosing the "burning" option (which was never clearly presented as the better choice). 5. Refused to fix her own mistake unless paid again. When my mom asked for a follow-up to fix the same problem she paid for, Dr. Leila demanded another payment. When we protested--rightfully--Dr. Leila became aggressive, stating she wouldn't see my mom anymore unless we paid. This isn't how healthcare works. This is extortion. I used to bring family here years ago and it was a reputable place. Now? It's gone completely downhill under this doctor's care. Her aggressive attitude, lack of empathy, and unprofessional behavior--especially toward people of color--is disgraceful. Dr. Leila Ostovar-Kermani should not be in the medical field

She has a collaborative attitude and will offer different options to let you decide what you're personally comfortable with. On top of all that she is such a kind doctor, and one who genuinely cares about your situation (unfortunately rare in medical care these days). If only they could clone Dr. Kermani into other areas of medicine! Even if you're not near Novato it's well worth the extra travel time to go see her.

Goodness - It's a Miracle!…read more If you listen well to his directions, you'll see great results. My right foot started hurting like hell and my walking gait had become a little wonky. l thought it was residual effect of having a screw removed years ago after a 5th metatarsal break had healed - wrong! Dr Wagstaff showed me my right foot was out of alignment, causing the wonky gait and pushing the side of my foot down into the side of the shoe, making it hurt! Dr Wagstaff showed me a simple stretch to release tension in my Achilles and a temporary set of orthotic insoles. The stretch brought the foot back into alignment, the temporary orthotic insoles kept it there. Dr Wagstaff did a mold of my feet while in his office, picked the orthotics up today. The results are wonderful! I walked out of Dr Wagstaff's office feeling like I was walking on a cloud; no pain and walking straight as a newly released arrow in flight - I call it miraculous! I can certainly recommend the services of Dr Wagstaff - pay attention to what he tells you.

Not what he infers as more than that (multiple times), and I needed a receipt showing what the $375. was for, never have gotten that. Needed to know breakdown of how much for visit, how much for orthotic he fabricated there. Plus he didn't tell me he was fabricating anything, I didn't ask for it, then got bill with no explanation of what it was for. I don't need his visa receipt, visa will provide that, but he needs to indicate what he's billing for. No other store, dr., service etc bills without indicating what it's for. No more replies here. He's not worth my time. He will undoubtedly reply because he always does. Can't help himself. He deserves all the bad reviews he's received.
