Dr. Nemrow is great! For eight years I have been unable to take a step without shooting pain. The padding on both feet on the outside joint was gone and calluses constantly made the pain worse. He tried all kinds of things which relieved some of the pain for a while but it always came back. I used to get to one side of the grocery store and not be able to get back to the other side because the pain was too great. Then he suggested injecting "Leneva" which is a form of human fat that makes a matrix that my body fills in with its own fat. It's a miracle. Really. I have padding again. Dr. Nemrow is the BEST for any foot related issues. My wife and I are in our seventies and have seen a lot of doctors in our time. Dr. Nemrow has been treating my wife for hammer toes and other foot issues. I broke my toe 20 years ago and the bone stuck up so I couldn't wear normal shoes. Based on the other Yelp reviews I read...I went to Dr Nemrow to have him look at my x-rays and give me some solutions for the pain in my feet due to what the radiologist said was 2 nearly obliterated metatarsal joints. First he didn't like the x-rays I had and wanted to take more x-rays. I had both the CD and 3 very large film x-rays. He said he thought I had a fracture and bandaged my foot with a pad which meant I couldn't put my shoe on and it hurt more to walk with the pad and bandage which was suppose to help the supposed fracture. When I asked him about the nearly obliterated metatarsal joints he said oh I'm not concerned about that I'm more concerned about the fracture. Come back in two weeks I'll take x-rays to see how the fracture is healing and we can go from there. Since this visit I showed my osteopath (also a PT) and a PT friend the x-rays and neither of them saw a fracture. I have also seen an orthopedic surgeon (at a very high cost I might add) to find out all she recommended was to find a way to make my feet comfortable. Dr Nemrow is very nice, professional and concerned about your welfare. Gail in the office is very sweet and helpful. I was treated for a fractured foot with a bad infection. Infection is resolved. Bones are taking their usual time to heal. Office is clean, and well stocked. Since I was their for the foot I took advantage of the laser treatment for my toenails. Dr Nemrow is very up front that it takes a full six months to see any change. He is very gentle and adept with the laser. They also have a nice selection of nail polish to address nail fungus. read more

I looked at all the podiatrists available via Aetna, and I got a very good feeling about Dr. Nemrow from his yelp page (filtered reviews are also great), as well as from his website. I was dealing with foot pain from some long Saturday's working at weddings. I let it go all Summer, but finally gave in and started to seek out a podiatrist. I'm VERY glad I picked the right one. Went in for the initial appointment, he listened patiently, asked a few questions, and then proceeded to isolate exactly where the pain was coming from and why. I was fitted with a temporary pad that brought some immediate relief, and then was fitted for orthotics. I wanted to write this review after my first visit, but I waited because I wanted to share the whole experience. Ten days into the orthotics, and my foot feels a LOT better. I found Dr Nemrow via Groupon. Overall I can't say enough about both of my experiences there. I went for anti toe fungus. It has been 4 months and the fungus is gone. He did laser. Followed with at home remedies. Easy to get to right near downtown Novato. Friendly staff, including Dr Nemrow. Super nice and makes you feel welcome.
