The waiting room cleanliness and atmosphere five stars. The nurse and front desk friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, and prompt request to my needs is five stars, ten if I could give it! I love her current nurse Melissa. She's very patient. She really has it tough dealing with pharmacies. I've witnessed it first hand. Doctor Tulpan has exhibited ongoing training, and modernization of her practice since I've been coming to her. She can focus on her specialty even more by affiliating with NYU Langone. NYU Langone takes all kinds of insurance. Some insurance companies are very difficult to deal with. NYU 'My Chart' offers on line access to your health records. It's a great system easily navigable. I get reminders by email of appointment dates and times. I can view my patient visit summary immediately after my appointment. My test results, family History, allergies and more are located in one file. You can screenshot insurance cards to enter them. I love the website. For all the forms required I'm provided with a iPad to read the forms and sign electronically. I can access everything I sign in my chart. So modern. I was also offered facial recognition and hand scan. I declined. I provided them with a photo ID for my file. In my opinion that's enough! I'm not one to go to the doctor for every little thing. It is obvious to me that Doctor Tulpan keeps up with the latest patient treatment in her field. I do know that she realizes I take my life and wellness serious. After all, you are putting your life in someone else's care when you go to the doctor. She understands we all have family and friends. They ask about our health and how our visit to the doctor went. It took me a few years to finally feel confident that she understands my health issues. At this point I would be devastated if she left Manhattan! I realize how many things are beyond the doctors control. Insurance rules, State, and Federal Legislation, and more, all complicate treatment plans and the progress of treatment services. She is open with me about her processes while providing my medical treatment. I appreciate that greatly. I've never received Lab results as quickly as I have since she has been using the latest equipment. She is the only doctor I have had in years that calls me herself to report my test results. I'm so happy when she leaves the info on my messages. It is hard to reconnect some times after the visit. Doctor Tulpan and her current location would receive 10 Stars from me if I could give them!

If I had been told what she was contemplating - a neck MRI - I would have had the ensuing argument right there in her office. When her employee called to advise that the insurance company had approved the MRI, I thought it was a mistake as I'd had one a month previously. I told the employee that I'd had a neck MRI already (ordered by a different doctor). I wasn't eager to have another one; it was stressful. She put Dr. Tulpan on and she gaslighted me. She told me I was "confused", that I hadn't had a neck MRI. You don't get confused about MRIs. They're pretty distinctive. Nothing else is an MRI. I was shocked that she didn't believe me. Turned out that the imaging center had only sent the radiology report to the neurologist who ordered the first MRI and Dr. Tulpan didn't have the report so she assumed I was "confused." I wouldn't see her again if she were the last doctor on the planet.

I remember the experience vividly because the nurse told me to undress from the waist down then she gave me a sheet to cover myself with. It wasn't just any sheet, but a FITTED SHEET. I don't know how turned off I was about this, considering there are like a million flat sheets you can use if you don't want to put a smaller sheet over your patients, but people, it was a full size fitted sheet, gathered corners and all. I'd never seen anything like it. While I waited at least another ten minutes I could hear the doctor speaking to her patient in a room next door. I thought, well, the walls must be thin, because I heard just about everything she was saying...that is until she came in. She was friendly enough but also a very loud talker. I'm sure the walls weren't thin, it was just her voice projecting. She examined me and that was that. I didn't like the vibe, but was too busy to look for another doctor at the time. I went a few more times, once for a UTI and was treated like a refugee. I realized that if I don't have any signs of future life in my uterus she wants nothing to do with me. That feeling was very evident the other times I went, like gynecology was below her. After a few more visits I changed doctors and have been happier since ( although now I'm on the hunt again!).

That doctor you are imagining sucks compared to Dr. Cho. The difference is that Dr. Cho doesn't just care about her patients. She cares about her job. Deeply and to the point that it is obvious within minutes of meeting her (or I don't know, can someone fake that? I don't think so). So as a great doctor, with a team of great doctors around her, she probably has spent a lot of time, her life really, thinking about how to be the best doctor. Way more than you or I have spent. So she knows far more than we do about what a great doctor should do. That means that when you go to the office and see Dr. Cho there are so many things being done to make your visit go perfectly that you won't even notice or understand them all. A CT scan revealed diverticulitis, easily treatable with antibiotics and antispasmodics. Recently, I've suffered WEEKS of paralyzing cramping and diaherrea, leaving me fatigued, dehydrated and unable to go out. The tests came back negative for parasites, etc. She literally waved her hand dismissively and said it's all "in your head," and that I was "too anxious." I was stunned to hear this from a medical doctor who's not, let's say, a shrink. Now I have to find a new gastro doc, and you should, too!

Every visit we will wait about 1 hour and 30 minutes, just to see her for 5 minutes. We will ask questions and she will rush us out. One time my fiancé asked her if she has a cold what can she take? She said "what do you usually take when you have a cold". It was the worst experience We ever had with a doctor. She should be practicing medical because she is very unknowledgeable in that field. Back when her office was in the medical building on Kissena Blvd in Flushing and just having recently gotten married, she was my first Ob/Gyn. She has relocated and is now in Queens Village, and I continue to visit her. She has the most adorable grand daughter DeeDee. I have gone through so much with her, she has become family. I trust her judgement, and her expertise with the utmost respect. Although I am very friendly with many other Ob/Gyn due to shared common interests she is my one and only. It is important to mention, we have not always seen eye to eye on matters but my health, and safety were her priority. Matters of the heart were concerns but she always had my back when it came to tough issues and seeing that she was a constant in more than half of my lifetime I will listen and evaluate her recommendations carefully. Emma, her former assistant retired, and I used to occasionally bump into her while out with family but her current medical assistant Amanda (has been with Dr. Todd since moving to Queens Village) is a doll, so very kind and funny. The radiologist is a very polite and professional gentleman, and has quite a few words of wisdom. There is usually a wait to be seen in her office, but that is because she takes her time when she is with her patients. Check her schedule, there are two days out of the week that she stays late. Also keep in mind she does deliveries so if mother nature decides its' time for a new baby to meet the world...guess what, even though you have an appointment scheduled for that day chances are you will need to reschedule. Please be courteous and understanding. This helps her be the best she can be for all of us. Dr. Todd is a practical and empathetic professional. She can be forthcoming, but that is what keeps things real. I love her with all my heart, and so does my husband (even though Dr. Todd chastises him for putting me through all the pregnancies and insists he consider a snip snip on his manliness), my mom, my older daughter's god mom who does not have kids of her own and assisted in the delivery of my firstborn and of course the 5 kids she delivered. (even though Dr. Todd has suggested many times to leave the kids home when i visit, LOL.....) I love this team at Phoenix Ob/Gyn. This team of health professionals deserve high recognition for the effort and dedication they show to their patients.

Dr. Che knew exactly what questions to ask and she is very thorough. She had me describe what had happened prior to the pains and asked very specific questions on certain details, and was able to figure out what was wrong. I really liked her! (maybe because she reminded me of my mother?!) She was very thorough, precise and professional the entire time, and she seemed to genuinely care, which i really appreciated.
