A piano mover recommended this company to move a 1200 lb stone trough fountain from the street into my backyard. The piano mover thought it would be more cost effective, and it was! I sent photos of the item and situation, and accurate distance details. They didn't even need to do a pre visit. Ad-Lite sent two men and a 25 ton crane. The most interesting part was that I asked if they could lift the item with straps underneath, and then set it down exactly where I wanted it, but I said I didn't know how they would remove the straps once the item was set down. The driver smiled and said, "you got a grocery store nearby? Run and go get two bags of ice." They set that 1200 lb stone fountain exactly where I wanted it, on bags of ice, removed the straps, and went on their way. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Ad-Lite Crane Service earlier today. Davide and Joe, plus the truck driver they hired, Fernando, were an excellent team. They were calm, careful and competent, moving our newly constructed 23' boat from a tight space near our shop in a warehouse area to a really tight space at a boatyard. We were nervous before they arrived, but they showed up early and we were immediately reassured. Everything went smoothly. Very grateful for their meticulous work ensuring a safe journey for the boat. read more

Sometimes everything just falls into place and my crane service yesterday was just one of those occasions. I called on a Wednesday and there was an opening available on Friday! They were on time and speedy and super personable. I have a thing for heavy machinery and I was given a quick overview to fulfill my dreams of being a big truck driver/operator. I hope I don't need a crane for any reason again any time soon, but if I do, I will definitely be a return customer for Ad-Lite Crane! read more

Davide, Thomas, and Roger teamed up to affect a swim spa delivery into our backyard this past Friday, with attention paid to every detail. I was worried about how things would go, since the process required both a 40-ton crane and a spider crane, but it turned out my concerns were unwarranted. These guys knew their jobs and executed flawlessly; would highly recommend Ad-Lite for any crane service needs, especially jobs that other crane companies may deem too challenging or impossible to accomplish. I contacted the majority of crane companies in the Bay Area before discovering Ad-Lite; could have saved myself so much time and headaches if I had started with them from the beginning. As a bonus, their pricing is very reasonable, compared to other crane companies in the Bay Area. Another bonus, Davide is a former Marine--always feels good to support a veteran. read more

We use Ad-Lite every time we need a crane service and they're GREAT. I run a glass and mirror company in SF and every once in a while (6-10 times a year) we need them and we've had great success with them every time. We actually needed them today and the operator complimented my crew on how organized we are (fancy that!) and I need them again next wee so we're on a roll. Thank you Stephanie and the rest of y-all for your service! Brian - GG Glass read more

Today, while driving southbound on US-101 I to take my 8 year old daughter to school I was changing lanes and the driver of an Ad Lite crane was TEXTING on his phone while driving A CRANE truck and nearly crashed into my car. My daughter and I narrowly avoided being injured or worse. I honked aggressively and HE DIDIN'T EVEN NOTICE. We then pulled up next to him and I asked my daughter to take photos of the truck and the driver - we have one of him driving one handed (a massive crane truck) on the freeway while holding his phone to his ear. We honked again - he was oblivious. He early killed two people and is too busy talking on his phone to even notice. I then called Ad-Lite, whose number is prominently displayed on the side of the truck. Someone picked up the phone and I relayed what happened and he said "what do you want me to do about it? I'm sitting in an office" and hung up. Great. It's clear to me that Ad-Lite crane service does not truly value safety and/or make sure to hold their employees to a high standard of safety and responsibility. I have not only called and I also sent an email to the company with the photos I took. I sincerely hope that this driver makes better choices for the rest of the day and doesn't injure any other motorist or pedestrian. If he does, I want it to be clear to the company and anyone who googles them that they were notified that he was being irresponsible and dangerous and they did nothing. read more

Our company is expanding into the East Bay area and hired Ad Lite to to a package unit pick. The operator put his down rigger on the city side walk right near some service covers and never placed any pads down. This caused the weight to crack the side walk in multiple places. We reached out to Stephanie numerous times and was assured that Matt (the owner) saw the pictures and agreed that this was their fault and they would take care of it, yet they havent. Our calls are not being returned and they have left us high and dry now to deal with an upset customer. We pride ourselves on exceeding our clients expectations and taking responsibility for our projects. We simply can not use a company that doesnt share in these core values. Make sure you take pictures of the lift both before and after and are watching that they protect the property to avoid being in a similar situation. For us, we will take our business else where. read more

These guys helped me when I was in a serious pickle. I live in San Francisco in a neighborhood with attached houses. I bought a hot tub a couple weeks ago, and though that I could get a bunch of guys to carry it over a couple fences, through a couple backyards, and into mine. The neighbors gave me access, and we gave it a shot. In the end it didn't work out. The neighbors ended up getting worried about injuries and property damage. So we had to leave the tub in our neighbor's yard! I called 2 crane companies before I talked to ad lite, and they either could not help me, or wanted to charge me over $2000! Part of the problem was that another neighbor would not allow access to his driveway for the crane to setup. Davide from ad lite came out, scoped the job and said he could do it for under $1000, and not need to bother the neighbor. That's exactly what he did! If it was not for ad lite, my family would not be enjoying our hot tub on a regular basis. Thanks ad lite! read more

These guys were amazing! The whole team was extremely patient with us, Stephanie answered right away with all of my questions, the guy who reviewed the building made it quick and painless and the crane crew was so kind even though I was a nervous wreck the whole time! Davide and Nick were so thoughtful and helpful, they made the whole experience wonderful - looking forward to hiring them again! read more

Amazing service - beyond what I would have inspected. Davide is one of the owners but he showed up for our job and you can see his level of professionalism in everything he does. Not only did he lift all our furniture and grill up to the rooftop in an unbelievably efficient and careful manner, but when he saw we needed help moving one of the pieces, he pitched right in even though that was clearly outside his scope. If you ever need someone to crane pieces in The City, the precision, professionalism and kindness of Davide is impossible to beat. Not to mention they were very competitive on price. I hope not to need another crane soon, but if I do, you can bet I'll call Ad Lite. read more

I recently purchased a generator for my home in Mill Valley. I live in a tight sloped area with a lot of trees. Your typical Mill Valley obstacles. Ad-Lite Crane was awesome to work with. We live on a hill and had a swim spa craned in over our house. First of all they were recommended by Paradise Valley Spas and together they coordinated the delivery. Stephanie was always professional, flexible and friendly. She walked us through the process. Their team came out and did a site check before hand and on the day of the job, the delivery was quick, easy and went very smooth. It went so smooth, the cost was lower than their original estimate. They were accurate in placing the spa into a concrete vault in our back yard. Awesome delivery team and a job well done. They were also prepared for contingencies with a smaller unit which was not needed. They are economical and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your service while being nice and easy to work with! read more

I can't say enough good things about Stephanie at At-Lite Cranes. She is a pleasure to work with. I will probably never need a crane again (I hope), but I sort of wish I did. This was one of the most pleasant experiences that I have ever had working with a company. I was clueless about what it entailed lifting this huge slab of stone over tall trees. Stephanie, the phone operator/scheduler/come-miracle-worker arranged the whole thing & did not make me feel completely incompetent. Matt showed up to do the work and he was incredible, kind and friendly. His equipment was clean and well running. read more

These guys were incredibly professional, competent and friendly to boot - plus a reasonable price for services performed. Task was to remove an old, large Sundance spa from a hilly Corte Madera location and put in a new spa. Was the largest model Sundance, and on a super hilly grade, narrow streets, lots of trees and low power lines, and limited parking. In short, a total pain the rear sort of job for these folks, I'm sure, but they were incredibly nice about it. Their work gave me every assurance that the job would be done safely and right. Davide was the crane operator, assisted by Joe. Total A+ company and highly recommended. read more

Ad-Lite came out to our house to work with the tree cutters topping a huge redwood tree in the front yard today. The two workers were professional through and through. Watching how well they communicated and did exactly what the man on top of our tree needed was amazing. Working in a tight area the crane operator never hit any power lines, fences or our house for that matter. Might be the first and last time I will ever need crane work done around my house but if for some crazy reason if I need a crane again Ad-Lite is who I'll call. read more
