Fun place to take a dip in the hot summer! We enjoyed stopping here on our way home from a pickleball tournament.

A tranquil spot. I was in Acworth, Georgia on business and drove past a sign saying Acworth Beach. Mu curiosity piqued, I turned down the street to discover this hidden gem. Very serene. I walked against the setting sun and enjoyed the moment. I am grateful for places like this, a place where you can temporarily shrug off the hustle and bustle of life and just be.

Beautiful lake and beach! Nice trail with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view.

Very nice park, beautiful lake view, nice trail and plenty of seating area. The golf course across the lake adds to the beauty.

Coming from Coastal VA where we have a beach within 10 mins from most cities I knew living in a land locked location would be a challenge. I was so excited when I discovered Acworth Beach! I would highly advise getting there early & making a day of it bc parking is limited & will fill up by 1pm for sure. I got there around 10 paid $5 or $10 (can't remember now sorry) to park (no cash just cards) & was on my way nice & easy. Though the beach is man made its really very nice. There are picnic tables in a grassy area & the beach section is a very nice size. Plenty of room for lots of families to enjoy. Just writing this I'm remembering the day & it was so good for my soul. I wish I could've enjoyed it more but due to covid I don't think it had a full summer run, hopefully that will not be the case next season.

First time here and loved the peacefulness, tranquility, sounds of the birds chirping, families enjoying. I loved this place so much that I can see myself getting married here just so I can share it with everybody else. I felt so at peace here. I only stayed for about 30 minutes but it was everything and more. I cannot wait to come back and start planning my wedding here.

Nice, clean lake! Went here for Memorial Day and arrived around 10 AM and had no problem finding a place to sit. We also rented a kayak and had a great time! There also were semi clean bathrooms, a sno ball stand and also the option to purchase water toys like tubes and floaties.

Worst beach I've been to. Their ordinance won't allow you to use your own grills but force you to use their crappy unkept grills. Makes no sense at all. Would never come back to this poorly operated park

This is definitely a hidden gem. A beautiful lake to play or relax in the sand surrounded by greenery and well maintained by the cleaning staff. There is a large grassy area with a playground for those not into sand. There is a large white gazebo that can be used for medium to large get togethers. They've got all bases covered with picnic tables and a few grills. The bathrooms even have changing stalls rather than just toilet stalls. I love that you drive through a cozy residential area to get here because the locals clearly appreciate their location. From the beautiful homes to the peaceful lake. You can't get a better days fun for free. Hours are 6am to 11pm so morning or evening either way you'll find your best time. My children love it. They wake up after breakfast and the first thing they do is pack snacks and water and are ready.

    loooove it here!

We have visited Lake Acworth via Cauble Park on numerous occasions and always tend to enjoy ourselves. The water is always calm and clean, on the surface at least. The lake is well maintained and surrounded by the park, woods, a neighborhood and a highway. So, always something different to look at whether you are hanging on the beach or kayaking around the water. While most of our visits are for walking and enjoying the beach, I have visited for fireworks and other community events. The lake and park hold up well. There are onsite restrooms and such as well, which make trips here a bit easier. You will find folks enjoying all things from building sandcastles to walking the pups, grilling out, fishing or just chilling. When I visit, we tend to do it all, except the fishing part. Overall, Lake Acworth is a cute spot for a chill afternoon. Low energy needed to enjoy yourself here. Keep in mind that the main access point is through Cauble Park, which for non-Acworth city residents charges by the vehicle, usually no more than $20.

Often I just drop by to enjoy a moment of serenity. However, some people are brave enough to go into the water. I personally am not that adventurous. A portion of the park is dedicated to Acworth Beach, which is a fairly good sized sandy beach along side Lake Acworth. The beach is well kept, clean and normally packed during the summer months, as you would expect. They do have buoys in the water noting distance parameters, but the beach does not have active lifeguards, so very much "swim at your own risk". As with other beaches, they offer restrooms and showers adjacent to the beach. While Cauble Park features all the good stuff of a park, it is also a residential neighborhood. To access you either have to live in the city limits of Acworth, and have your respective car tag, or pay a per-car fee to enter. It ranges from $10 - $20, depending on the season. Parking is plentiful, but can be tough on summer weekend days or during special events such as July 4th. Something else I enjoyed about this park is the wooden walkway that took you over Lake Acworth and gave great views of the park, lake and beach. This trail leads into a wooden trail, and while I enjoy paved trails a bit more, I get the preservation of the woods and leaving the trail paved/dirt. This trail is not very long, and dead ends into another residential street. Overall, Cauble Park at Acworth Beach is a well know, but hidden gem in the community! My best friend lives in Acworth, so every time I visit, we make sure to swing by the park at least once.

The person who drives the boat is required to take a test and know boat safety before getting in the water. We rented a pontoon boat from 11 am to 5 pm and was $550 plus gas consumption. They do get really busy and packed, so parking could be an issue. The walk from parking to where you check in is quite hilly, so keep this in mind when bringing children/elders. The hiring process was chaotic each time, with training requirements constantly changing depending on who he spoke with. He dealt with numerous employees each summer, and despite completing all requirements, his paycheck was withheld due to claims that he hadn't. It took over a month of persistent calls to get his certification properly uploaded. At the start of the 2024 season, the pool was at risk of not opening due to lifeguard certification issues. Shockingly, the company suggested forging certifications--an alarming practice, especially considering these certifications involve life-saving responsibilities. The clock-in/out app was unreliable, making it impossible to accurately track hours worked. Furthermore, USA Mgmt failed to update their insurance documentation, leading to the contract holder withholding payment, which caused the pool to close for several days. Instead of taking responsibility, USA Mgmt blamed the contract holder for non-payment, while the lifeguards, including my son, went nearly a month without pay. My son's last day of work was 7/27/24, and as of 9/4/24, he still hasn't received 2 paychecks. After repeated calls and follow-ups with a manager named Morris, I eventually sent a certified letter to their accounting dept. I was told 2.5 weeks ago that his checks were sent. When I asked when, I was not given a date and Morris blamed the USPS for checks taking a month or longer to be delivered. I was told again today they were sent and I asked when. He said today and did not have an explanation why he previously told me they were sent. This company's failure to pay minors on time, coupled with their illegal practices and indifferent attitude, is unacceptable. My son isn't the only one facing these issues--his fellow lifeguards have experienced similar frustrations. I am disgusted by their behavior and will be filing a formal complaint with the government to ensure these issues are addressed.
