A Marie J.

I have been here twice and have seen Jen both times. The acupuncture treatment areas are not private but not really a big deal. They offer massage as well and I am looking forward to getting one here. One thing to be aware of is the parking. I posted a sign they have on the door which gives you some tips on where to park so you don't get a ticket.

Nice comfy lounge area

Awesome place. First time with an "open" area practice. LOVED it. Incredible experience - wonderful caring staff. Can't beat the price.

I live with back pain that inevitably works its way up to my head where I get the worst migraines…read more Needle work is the only thing that gives me relief but unfortunately finding someone that is reliable and takes their time has been really hard. In the past I've been rushed in and out after a few quick stabs and while I do get the relief, I don't feel I got what I paid for. At Uptown, I get a full treatment tailored to my needs executed with care and precision. After leaving, not only do I get the pain relief I am looking for, but I get lasting results from the holistic approach and so far, zero soreness from a needle accidentally hitting a nerve ending. Previous needle work providers would tell me that hitting nerves were just a part of the process, come to find out that no, it in fact is not, it's part of the process when you are rushing and don't know what you are doing. I highly recommend Uptown Acupuncture for their professionalism, their level of care, their clean and welcoming facilities, and incredible staff.

He is extremely knowledgeable, and compassionate and makes reasonable projections for your healing that last. Michael is my number one referral for anyone who is experiencing pain or ongoing issues that western medicine alone can't seem to address (but also an excellent companion to western medicine). Everyone I send his way has similar impressive things to report.

27AUG2014 After 16…read moresessions here is my assessment. 1. Acupuncture does no harm. 2. I think it might be useful for muscle or nerve pain/problems. 3. If you think it will help then try it. It is affordable. 4. In my opinion, useless for relieving chemotherapy symptoms. Chemo drugs are nasty as they are trying to [almost, but not quite] kill you. Friday (09MAY2014). Acupuncture session at 1500. Saturday. Crappy mouth is reduced and I have a lot less fatigue. Was it: a. Acupuncture? b. Poisons excreted from my body? c. Both? d. Neither? I don't know. 02MAY2014 Very pleasant people. Took a lot a notes prior to my acupuncture. I feel very comfortable with them. Will see how it goes. Chemotherapy is nasty. I get loaded up with: Oxaliplatin, 5-fluoroucil, zofran, decadron, leucovorin every 2 weeks. The side effects are very unpleasant. I am hoping that acupuncture can alleviate some of the symptoms. Chemo mouth (aka crappy mouth). Food tastes bland. Carbohydrates taste like cardboard. Fatigue. 1-3 naps a day. Low platelet and white blood cell counts. The poison kills everything.

Booked a 90 minute massage via groupon for this location…read more Parking was a struggle with street only available parking. My massage was scheduled for 515. I arrived at 455 to fill out paper work. Nichole finally took me back around 515. I quickly undressed and laid down. She finally came back and stayed around 520. Literally 3 times I had to ask for lighter pressure. Nichole was super sweet but I shouldn't have to keep asking. The room was a little warm and the tribal music was causing anxiety a little. THE WORST PART was that my massage ended and when I checked my phone it was 637; therefore, my massage was 77 minutes when I paid for 90 minutes. I literally hate that.
