Second-- George's students are talented. Every school has one or two students that stand head and shoulders above the rest. Not here. Almost everyone there is skilled. At their sparring sessions, despite training for 5 years, I was the worst one (which is great, it meant I had tons of people to learn from). Third-- Everyone is friendly. Almost every time I go to a new gym, I expect to get the tar beaten out of me just to see if I'll come back. Happens a lot. Didn't happen hear. We have gone over Micky Ward's double hook technique in a few classes and it is so cool. In my first class I did not even know what stance I was, I stood southpaw when I should have been orthodox (just for an example of how much of a noob I was) and each class I learn more from this wizard. It is so obvious that they care about their members and take the time to get to know their members! The workouts are incredible and different from each trainer and they really help you out with technique so that you can improve every time. This is the type of workout where you get out of it what you put into it--some days I come in feeling exhausted already from a long day and try to focus on my form and then some days I come in and focus more on power and strength! If you've never tried boxing, this is definitely the place to start and keep getting an incredible workout!
